I have a lot more work to do on this, but posting is open if anyone is interested. It is (very) loosely based off of the idea of Shinto shrines.

History
Salma hails from the Jini-msemi, a pride that was close to her deceased mother's heart, but it never held the same meaning to her. She always believed in spirits around her, as her mother had before joining the Jini-msemi. Shortly fter her mother's death, she was sent out on her pilgrimage, and the wide world before her stunned the little lioness. Her mother had always kept the two of them a little separated from the pride (esp. during the murders), and though her mother hoped she would return home, Salma had no reason to. No friends, a little bit of family, but no intentions of returning.
Before Aushi died, she called upon the wind goddess, Mana, to watch over her daughter. Aushi had always been fightened of the world outside, but not Salma. She made acquaintances with those of other species, found that not everything was covered in mud. And that in some areas of the world, there was a distinct lack of respect to the spirits and gods that made the world turn. It was hard for her to ignore, seeing as how she had a goddess as a part-time guardian.
Upon entering a rocky, mountainous area that was absent of any pride, she decided to do something about it. Even if it would look silly, she would create a place for respect to be paid to the gods, spirits, and ancestors.
What's happening now:
Salma has asked Mana to spread the word for lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, and any of the smaller species to come to these lands to assist. Any and all are welcome within these lands.
There is much work to be done, and the adolescent can not do much by herself. A lone leopard has followed the call early, filling in to help Salma hunt. She is setting up designated areas to be the larger shrines, for such things like the elements and emotions that visitors would want to pay their respects to.
Other ideas include smaller shrines near a major god's shrine (like rain near water) for more specific payments of respect or requests. There is also the idea for there to be markers for ancestors, placed by request from visitors who would like a place to remember their loved ones.

Ranks
Leader - They coordinate the care and building of the shrines. This position is not hereditary, and anyone could be asked to take over at any time.
Shifters - Strongest of the group, they move the shrine stones to areas designated by the leader. Stones large or small, they do the majority of the moving.
Carvers - Carvers will use their nails to make inscriptions of marks on the shrine stones. As this wears their nails down considerably, and it takes time for the nail to grow back/re-sharpen, there are many carvers than a visitor might expect. Carvers are assigned to specific areas.
Keepers - These are the ones that take care of the shrines. They will be assigned to certain areas of the lands, or to a certain god's shrine. They keep the shrines looking neat, inform the leader of when a shrine stone need repair, and accept the offerings from visitors.
Guides - As some outsiders like to visit the shrines to pay their respects, guides are used to make sure that they don't get lost in the rocky lands. There is always one guard present with a guide.
Guards - Though these lands accept anyone, not everyone has the kindest intentions. Guards are used as a passive form of defense, only put into play when a visitor is displaying unwanted attention or aggression.
Hunters - They fill up the rest of the souls that live in these lands, but are vital in keeping the pride going. Many of the other workers are too busy to hunt for themselves, and depend on them to bring food home every day.
Apprentices - Adols will learn a skill of their choice at this state, and once they hit adult-hood will be full-fledged members.
Youth - Cubs and Juves are given this rank.

Some short things: All species are allowed to join. Hybrids are allowed/accepted. Breeding is always open, roguing is fine. Adolescent breeding is ok, though it may interfere with their training ICly. Pack/Pride Name: Ulili-Mlindaji Current IC Owner(s): Safaia Current OOC Owner(s): Safaia Current Pride/Pack Members, and Rankings of Each:
Links to at least three current RPs: (These RPs must have been done in the last month. At least one must have included the current ruler.) Brief Description of the current status of your Pride/Pack: With a small surge of memebership, the development of the shrines to the gods is in full swing. Carvers insribe the stones for specific gods or ancestors, Shifters move the stones to their designated areas. Keepers are keeping the shrines clean and organized, and Guides are leading visitors to the shrines to pay their respects. Salma, as Leader, oversees this, and hopes that it continues to go smoothly. I don't want yellow, I just wanted it easy to see. The other dots are for my other prides and it'll be PMed separately. Definitely looks like a nifty idea! Once I'm all settled after moving, I'll go through my horde and see if I have anyone I can toss this way! <3

This is so awesome. <333 Count Hafi in! She's a blank slate, and I was gonna toss her in the demon pride, but that fell through and this is an awesome concept. 8D Could she be a Keeper?
