Summer was starting to get humid and warm, something that made Akumi irritable (much opposed to the icy demeanor that was her normal attitude). At least she hadn't had the displeasure of running into anyone or anything to display such petulant emotions. She dragged her cloven hooves in search of a shaded cool place to rest in, thinking about how much she despised coming off as uncollected. And the humidity would not help keep that assumption at bay should she meet anyone.
After what seemed like much too long in the blistering heat, the ram found a large tree casting a refreshing chill on the ground. She gave a sigh of relief and fell forward on her back knees before flopping down on her side, too relieved to care about looking proud to do it gracefully. She let out a soft bleat of contentment as the grass pulled away the fever from her fur.
"I hate summer," she mumbled to herself. It was only one of many things that she hated and she twitched her ears as buzzing insects, another thing she hated, flew past to find their own spot to seek refuge in.
