Hayden had called Eno's phone and demanded a playdate with River, since he was incredibly bored. He figured things wouldn't be so boring if his older brother were cooler. Or maybe if his other older brother didn't live two hours off campus. Well, unfortunately for him his older brother was very lame, and the other one DID live two hours off campus. So Hayden found himself frequently wandering around the playground, half heartedly swinging on the swing set or barely pretending to vanquish sea monsters on the play structure. It really wasn't all that fun by himself.
Thankfully he spotted Eno and River walking along the path that lead to the playground. He hopped off of the play structure he'd been on and then strode toward them. Why hadn't River gotten any bigger? He'd grown pretty fast all by himself, but River was still small. Maybe he had a stunted growth spurt or something. But, he didn't have any wings... Ah, it didn't matter anyway. "Hey River! Wanna play tag?" He came to a stop at the edge of the bark chips that were laid out over the playground.
Eno did not particularly enjoy being woken up at eight AM on his day off by a rude child demanding to play with River. But, River had recently complained about being lonely, so he got over his grumpiness and brought River to the park to play with Hayden. A child he really didn't approve of. The instant the boy mentioned tag, Eno regretted his decision to let them play. Hayden was big, and he could obviously run fast. River was still just a toddler and he wasn't always the most stable of children.
"Yeah! Tag is fun!" Before he could even say anything, River sprinted over to Hayden, clutching the stuffed kitty toy he'd acquired the other day. "But doesn't there have to be more people?" River looked around the empty playground curiously.
"We can improvise 'til someone else shows up. Are you gonna carry that cat around?" Hayden quirked a brow at the stuffed animal. It didn't seem like a good idea for River to be running with a toy, but the toddler merely nodded in response. "Okay then..." Hayden grinned and then tapped River on the head. "Tag! You're it!" He announced and then jogged away. He knew better than to run at full speed, but he wasn't about to let himself be tagged easily...

Theo wanted Anox to get out and excersize a bit, but he was worried that the child would hurt himself somehow. Anox had insisted he go to the park, saying that he wanted to see if he could find anything for Gio since he had gotten him so many neat gifts a few days before.
"Its okay Papa, i'll be okay." Anox says softly, walking with the green haired man towards the entrance to the park, though he seemed to get a little nervous when he saw other kids already. Something caught his eye though, fluffy white hair, "River...?" he whispers to himself, getting a boost of confidence. He remembered that kid!
Theo blinks and relaxes when he sees the grin spread on his child's face, at least he wasn't as shy anymore... Though, oh, he saw why, there was a child there that Anox had met before, good. He leads the child into the park and lets him go, heading over to sit in the shade under a big tree.

River did his best to run after Hayden, but his little legs simply couldn't keep up. He trotted along after him, trying to think of a way to trap the older kid when he spotted Anox. River grinned and then trotted over to him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Tag! You're it!" He giggled. "Me'n Hayden're playin' tag, you should play too." He nodded and then moved away a little, just to see if Anox was going to play or not. He didn't want to get tagged again if he was...
"Who's that?" Hayden called from across the park. He didn't mind another person joining in, he just wanted to know who it was. His little demon wings stretched out a bit before resting against his back again.

Anox blinks and smiles, "Tag? I like tag!" he says softly, waiting to give River a bit of a head start before trotting after him, almost not wanting to tag him again so soon, and then he spots the other boy and breaks away from River, his legs still a bit unsteady as he runs after him, caught up in the game.
Theo blinks as he watches Anox break away and run after the other child, surprised that the boy had it in him.

"Good!" River giggled and sped away as fast as he could without tripping over himself. He then crawled under the play structures to find a good spot where no one could tag him even if they wanted to. He guessed that the bigger kids could run faster but they couldn't fit into small places like he could.
"Ah!" Hayden made a mock frightened expression before leaping down to the next platform, where he grabbed onto a slider and slid to the next play structure in order to get away from Anox. "River! It's not fair if you're hiding." He called out to the toddler once he noticed him hiding under the platform he'd moved to.
"But you 'n Anox're faster then me!" He replied as he started to crawl out from under the play structure.
Eno had moved to sit on a park bench and was watching the three intensely. He vaguely remembered Anox, but couldn't recall if he was a good kid or not. He certainly didn't approve of River playing tag with two boys that were much bigger than he was, but he didn't want to spoil River's fun...

Anox laughs as he climbs the play structure, but when he got to the top and looked at the slider he suddenly stops, staring at the slider, chewing on his lip nervously. "Uhm... Its pretty high up..." he says apprehensively, shifting in place and looking around for his Papa.
Theo stayed put, not wanting to swoop in and save him unless he really needed it. He frowns a little, thinking that it was maybe a little soon for the child to be out playing again.

River crawled out all the way and then went to join Anox at the slider. "Uh-huh... is pretty high." He nodded, staring down at the ground.
"It's not that bad, just hang on real tight 'n the ride's over 'fore ya know it." Hayden shook his head and placed his hands on his hips. "Ya gotta master the slider if you ever hope to defeat the giant squid." He nodded, slowly changing the game of tag into a game of pirates instead. He'd figured out that River wasn't particularly enjoying his disadvantage.
"There's a giant squeed?" River looked alarmed, even more so since he had no idea what a 'squeed' was. He'd misheard Hayden, because if he had heard "squid" he would have figured out the game immediately. "We gotta swing across then!" He looked up to Anox for courage. He'd go first if he had to, but... he'd need someone to lift him up.
Eno nearly got up and snatched River away right then. River was so clumsy, he was bound to fall and get himself hurt, and while yes, he could heal little scratches, Eno didn't want him getting hurt at all.

Anox made a startled noise, "Squid?! But squids live in the water! Not wood chips..." he then looks confused, staring down at the wood chips, getting a little too close to the edge and flailing, grabbing the closest thing, which just happened to be River's arm before falling over the edge, though he had enough sense to put himself under the toddler and take the brunt of the fall.
Theo was on his feet before the boys hit the ground and striding towards them, just in case.

"We're playing pirates now... Ah, be careful!" Hayden reached out, but it was too late. He watched as River and Anox fell to the ground. He then hopped off his platform and shuffled over to them. "Are you guys okay?"
"AH!" River squeaked in alarm as he was suddenly pulled down to the ground on top of Anox. He sat up, rubbing at his head and sniffling a little.
Eno was up and halfway to them the instant he noticed Anox losing his balance. He hadn't even bothered hiding the panic by keeping his pace slow, no, he ran full speed over there. "River? River are you okay?" He pulled the boy off of Anox and into his arms for a closer inspection, too worried about his little toddler to pay too much attention to the boy that had saved him to hitting the ground first.
"Here." Hayden offered his hand to Anox so he could get up easier. "Is yer head hurtin'? Got and scratches? I got some band-aids if ya need 'em." Hayden looked him over carefully. He was going to avoid talking to Eno as long as possible.

Anox slowly sits up, wincing a little and shaking the wood ships out of his hair, "I... I'm fine... River, are you okay?" he whimpers, looking over at the white haired boy. He didn't want to cry, because that might scare River even more, but his back was really hurting and his elbows were bleeding. He also had a scrape on the back of his neck.
Theo stops beside the playset, looking worried, and yet still calm, "Anox, are you alright?" he asks again. He had only gotten out of the hospital a few days ago, if he had hit his head...
Anox nods at his Papa and smiles bravely, ignoring the blood, "I'm okay Papa." he states and then stands and walks closer to Eno and River, "Is he okay? He bleeding anywhere?" he asks, eyebrows knitting, "I'm real sorry... I wasn't careful..." he whispers, tentatively reaching out to touch River.

"He's fine... probably just shaken. Hayden I know you like rough games but River is still too little to play that way." Eno turned his red eyes to Hayden almost accusingly. Almost. "D-Dadda m'okay." River sniffled a bit more, but put on a brave face to convince his father that he was fine and didn't need to go home or anything.
Somehow, he knew that he was going to get blamed for that. "Okay, no more pirate games." Hayden sighed a little.
River looked back to Anox and reached out a hand to the other boy. "Ohno, you gots blood on you." River immediately frowned and began to wiggle in Eno's arms. "Lemme down Dadda I can make it better." Confused, Eno set the toddler down rather than let him continue to wiggle about and possibly fall again.
River grabbed Anox's hands and then closed his eyes as tight as he could. A moment later a tiny raincloud formed over his head and then drifted to Anox's elbows, where it proceeded to rain on him. The drops were small, and the effect was minimal, but it was good enough to at least scab up the scratches on his elbows. "There! All better." River grinned widely as the cloud faded away.
Eno stood silent, blinking a few times. He knew River really liked the rain, but he hadn't observed him using any powers before. This was the first time he'd seen River to anything unnatural at all.

"It wasn't his fault... I am the one that fell!" Anox snorts stubbornly, his eyes glowing just a tad brighter. Though they dulled as soon as River grabbed his hands. He blinks and looks at his elbows in awe, "W-Wow... I can do something like that too... Just... Not to myself." he laughs, cheering up a bit, though his back was still killing him.
Theo walks over and kneels behind his boy, lifting his shirt without asking and clicking his tongue, "You are going to have a briuse..." he sighs. "Maybe we should go home?"
Anox gasps and wiggles away from Theo, "I don't wanna go home yet! I wanna play some more Papa..." he pouts, "I just won't play on the high up parts anymore, okay?"

"Be that as it may, Hayden instigated the game, right?" Eno sighed, shaking his head a little. "Yeah! We'll stay on the ground 'n we can play in the grass." River pointed to the grass off to the side of the playground and then stared up at Theo pleadingly. He didn't want all the fun to end so soon.
"Yeah, we can play on the grass. It's softer over there." Hayden spoke up a little. He didn't demand a playdate with River just to have it end so quickly. "And we won't play with sticks, either." He added a moment later, just to assure Eno that there wouldn't be any dangerous sword play.

"Please Papa? We just got here..." he whines, moving closer to River.
Theo clutches his chest playfully, "No, not double puppy dog eyes!" he groans, swaying. "Fine, you win, go play in the grass..." he sighs, smiling down at the boys. He then looks at Eno, "It is useless to worry too much you know, they are boys, and they are bound to get scrapes... Were they in any real danger i would have been here before they hit the ground." he says after the boys run off.
Anox leads the way to the grass, walking a little funny, but he would be fine, didn't even break a wing!

"YAAAAAAY~!" River shouted excitedly and then ran after Anox to get to the grass. "What're we gonna play?" He asked once the three of them had made it to their destination.
"I'm more worried about that Hayden kid getting him more hurt than a few scrapes. He's a little to rough for my sanity." Eno shrugged, watching as Hayden attempted a cartwheel, which then inspired River to try one.
"I 'unno, we could play tag again, but the grass is kinda long and if River trips his dad will take him home." Hayden shrugged, plopping himself to the ground. "His dad's super protective, that's what my mom said." He nodded. River could only nod in agreement, but he wasn't entirely sure what that meant.
