This community's been a little quiet lately so I thought I'd start a topic about the newest installment in the Anita Blake series. That's right, Bullet came out in the beginning of June for those who missed it.
For those who read it, what did you all think? I thought it was all right. There wasn't a whole lot going on and I was really sad when she killed Haven. The plot line was a little on the lame side but I can see why this book was written the way it was. I've finally come to the conclusion that I don't mind the sex scenes anymore. They are to be expected and it's who Anita is now. I've accepted that and that's what the focus is going to be on the current books and the future books.
So seriously, what do any of you think if you've read it.

Haven't been able to read it but I want to so badly. Richard is in it and I want to see Richard and there is also Jean-claude which is exciting. I also want to see Asher. Ugh, so frustrated.

i got bullet the day it came on sale, and cried when anita killed my favorite character.... crying
you peoples should message me if you want to talk about any of the anita blake books with me but i don't want to spoil them for people who haven't read them.

I haven't been able to afford it yet, but i want to read it badly. I hope she fixes Richard, he was my favorite character and I still have hope that he'll come back around someday.
