It was a sunny but nice day.It was warm but not hot, just way Lemn like it. She yawn and look for her papa. She sniff the air. Today seem like it was going to be a good day. She got up and flick her tail. The sky was so nice, with lot of blue, just the way she like it. She look around again and found a rock. She began to play with it. She hope her papa could play with her too. That would be fun! Playing with a rock by yourself is just not as fun with two. Her tail flick again as she move the rock around the ground.

Flicking his tail, Mauja looked around at the familiar scene. It was his home, here, and he quite enjoyed his time back. All his little ones were playing and running around, and he felt so proud. He loved the calm this place brought him, and there was no better joy than being a father.
Even though he did have a lot of cubs.
Twisting his ears around, he spotted one of his youngest ones. Little Lemn, she looked just like him. So cute, and so small. "Hey little girl, what're you doing?" Leaning his head down low, he smiled at her.

Lemn look up at he and smile. "Hello papa!" She said with joy and went on. "I'm playong with a rock....would you like to play?" She gave him a cute grin and push the rock next to him. She didn't really know what to do with the rock. But hey at least Papa could think of something she was sure that he could! She smile at him again. She hope he was not to busy, so he could play with her.

Why did it seem that so many of his cubs played with rocks? Not that it was a bad thing, but Mauja had just noticed the trend. "Of course, darling. What were you doing?" Nosing the rock around, he made small circles in the dirt with it.
Lowering himself a little more, he nudged his head up next to his daughter's body. She was so little, it was adorable.

Yes! He was going to play with her. She wiggled with joy. She look up to him and said "Papa, I was just hiting the rock. It was kind of boreding. Now that your here it can much more fun!" She happy. She giggle as he nudged her. She nudged him back and giggles. She hit rock and said " I bet you can hit back to me Papa" She giggle and wiggle her tail.

"Ooooh, I see. Just kicking it around, then?" He laughed, lowering himself down to the ground next to her. He tapped it gently, watching it roll over to the small cub. The distance wasn't too great, so it didn't take too much effort.
"Is this really all you were doing? Seems like it'd get fairly dull rather quickly." Smirking, he nosed at her belly, gently nipping at her soft fur. It seemed like a much more interesting game at the time, and he couldn't keep himself away from his little girl.

She could not stop laughing. She roll around trying to make him stop but it seem that papa would not let her stop laughing. She smile and try once to try to push him alway. It just no use, she was weak and when she was laughing it made her even more weaker. She began to hipup and then laugh once more. "Not much Papa. I been trying with the other but I'm to small. I get bored alot papa, But it ok because you alway know how make me laugh!" She said as she laugh. She then gave him a huge happy smile.

"You are a little one, aren't you?" Still quite amused, he let his paw gently rest on her chest. "But if you try hard enough, you'll be able to play with them no problem." Mauja grinned; knowing who her mother was, he knew she wouldn't stay so small for long. Soon, she'd be big and able to push all of her other siblings around.
"Yeah, I'll always be here for you. Until the day you grow big and want to leave to start a life of your own. And after that, too." He looked down at her, smiling. He knew that day was far off for little Lemn, but still.

She look up and shook her head up and down. "Yup I'm sure are but it ok." She said with a smile. She listen and then said "Yup sure will but by then they would have grown bigger too! How am I to play with them if they keep growing to while I am too?" She tillted her head. She knew her Papa will have the awsner, He all ways do. "I know Papa! That why your the best! Your that best Papa a cub could have!" She said with joy. She put her paw on his.

"Well, Lemn, after awhile, they'll stop growing. I know I did awhile ago." Laughing, he vaguely remembering his cubhood. He had a younger sister to play with, but he always wanted to be so careful around her. She was so precious.
"Once you're big enough, you'll grow stronger, because of who you are. It'll all work out, love." He smiled. That's how he thought of life. Everything worked out the way it should, in one way or another, even if things hurt.

"Are you sure Papa? They seem like they will keep and keep growing to me." She said with a worry tone but gave him a grin anyways. She look up him and rub her nose. "Papa you was a cub too? No way! Your so big never!" She said with giggles. SHe flick her tail and rub her nose one more time. "Ok I want to be as strong as you Papa! Then I can make you laugh!" She said with a giggle!

"Mhm! They'll stop, but you'll grow until you're all the same, with just a few differences in your size." He flicked his eyes to the side. In his own tiny family, he had been just a little bigger than his sister, but he would still always let her win when they played.
"I was little just like you, Lemn." Granted, he wasn't as small as her, but he was little at one point too. "And one day, you'll be big like me. So don't worry too much about, okay love?"

"Would that mean I might get big as others? That would be so cool papa! I want to get to they size you are!" She said with a smile! She giggle with joy! Just thinking about getting bigger made her happy. Then she could play with them! She look shock when he said that! How could her papa be as small as her never! "No way! That can't happen! Papa is big, them no way you could be this small!" She said with shock! Then she went on "Ok I won't worry! I get big soon, just like you!"

"Of course, love." Giving her a last lick, Mauja thought that he'd go out on a hunt soon. With so many cubs, he needed to hunt often to feed for them. Oh goodness, how did Nafsi do this all by herself?
"I think it's time for me to go, little one." Nuzzling her forehead, he rose from the ground, shaking the dirt from his coat. "I'll play with you again tomorrow, don't worry." Walking a few paces away, he inhaled the scents around him. "I'll see you a little later, darling." Searching for a herd, he went off on his hunt.
