Private Log between Polette and Chobi_Chocobo Polette Trotting along through the grass, Mauja vaguely remembered this place. He didn't think he'd ever come back, at least not for a long time. Although there were good memories here, he really didn't have any other reason to head back, until this. Today was the last day of travelling. He had told Mzuka that he'd go ahead, and she just needed to follow his scent to find the way here. She wanted a little space, to see what it was like, and Mauja really wanted to go ahead and talk to Eun Mi before Mzuka showed up, to get things a little settled. As the scents of the pride rushed into his nostrils, he kept his eyes open and aware. He wasn't frightened of this pride; rather, he had actually recommended it when Mzuka had asked. He was just a little anxious. Chobi Eun Mi had her wounds still from past events. She'd given her flesh and blood to her daughter Yuki. Yuki hated her now and the female could feel it. Naturally , Eun Mi was upset. She wasn't sure why she given up the cub. It just didn't feel right to take her back to the pride with her. It really didnt. That child had greater purpose. At least thats what Eun Mi felt. She was almost sure of it. Eun Mi hoped she was right. It was still strange how she ended up pregnant. There was no memory of an affair just one day she had a cub. Just one all black half lion cub. It truly baffled Eun Mi. The female sat in deep thought on the boarder of the pride. Eun Mi had meant for some one else to take her cub.

Polette Coming to a stop, Mauja looked across the horizon. The border was just paces away, and he was, as usual, a tad paranoid. He knew that there was nothing to fear, but old habits die hard. His grandfather had always told him to stay away from lions, but the mother of some of his cubs lived here, and that was reassuring. A grin growing on his face, he spotted the figure of a familiar blue cheetah. It was who he had made the earlier trip for. Right now, she was his only connection in this pride, as he didn't actually know his other cubs here. He could see that she was alone, but part of him wanted for one of his other children to be with her, even though they were all grown now. Trotting up to her, he could feel a knot in the pit of his stomach. "Eun Mi, darling! You look ravishing, as usual." Grinning, he tried to shove the other feelings away, at least until he needed to bring up the subject of Mzuka. "How have you been since we parted ways, darling?" Chobi_Chocobo The female lifted a brow at the sound of a familiar voice. Where had he come from? The female lifted a brow at the male. "Mauja how are you..? What brings you to this territory?" She hadn't seen him since the childeren had been cubs. Eun Mi lifted a brow. This was rather odd.

Polette Glancing to the side, Mauja took in a deep breath. "So you're not just happy to see me?" He laughed for a moment. She had a right to be suspicious; he hadn't made any trips back since he left the first time. "Well, I'm actually...escorting someone here." His eyes looked sad for a moment, before returning to their usual brightness. "I just wanted to come early and set a few things up for them. And you seemed like the perfect person to talk to." Grinning, he tried to hide his anxiety about his daughter coming here. "Though, I am glad to see you." Chobi_Chocobo Eun Mi flicked an ear. Had Yuki brought back the child she had given her and was Mauja giving her cub back? For a moment Eun Mi felt a little hopeful. She'd see her daughter again. "You.. You brought someone?" Her ears pointed up.

Polette "I did. My daughter. She's quite a ways behind me, though. Teens and their 'independence.'" He laughed, knowing that he was still the same way. "She wants to leave our family. Well, the den. She's grown now, so it's only natural for her." Mauja eyed Eun Mi very carefully. She seemed a little different than the last time he saw her. Had something happened? "But I thought that if I talked to you, you could keep an eye on her while she's just starting out? You know much more about this pride than I do. And I'm just....worried. My first litter, they were all so...distant. I guess it didn't help that I was gone for a good portion of their lives." He laughed, but it was rather hollow. Chobi_Chocobo The females smile shrank a little. She wasn't disappointed but she was curious. His daughter? He had other cubs she remembered. "Just how many cubs do you have Mauja?" She chuckled raising a brow to the male. "Mind if I ask you a question?"

Polette "My cub-count is a little over-the-top, love." He laughed. He thought every female knew that he had lots of cubs. "We'll just leave it at a lot." Winking at her, he sat, curling his tail around his body. "Hm? A question for me?" He seemed excited by the thought. Others generally didn't ask him any questions, they just followed his movements. "Sure thing, sweetheart." Though he couldn't promise an answer, he'd at least hear her out. Who knows, maybe it was something really important. Chobi Eun Mi figured he had a lot of little ones running around. He seemed the type to romance a female with ease. Now that Eun Mi knew this though it really didn't affect her like it had before. Not to say she didn't like the extra attention. She loved it. "Yeah... have you seen Yuki lately.." She had to wonder if her daughter had gone back with Mei or if she went off on her own. What was Yuki up to?

Polette "Yuki?" Mauja was more than a bit curious as to why Eun Mi would ask about only her. He had taken two back with him, and she was only concerned about the one? Curious, curious. "No, I haven't seen her since she left the den." Cocking a brow at her, he tried to keep that segment brief. "My cubs generally go far from the den once they're old enough to." Chuckling, he fidgeted, wondering how close Mzuka was. She had never known any of her half-siblings mothers, and he definitely didn't want to be surprised by her sudden appearance. "Mzuka is the first that I've had any say in." Chobi Yuki lifted a brow. She was surprised by this for some reason. Though she had far less cubs to keep track of then Mauja. "Teenagers will be Teenagers.." She said nothing more about Yuki and the surprise visit she had with her daughter. "Mzuka mmm?" She tilted her head. "Shes interested in Arba? I can assist her with any questions she may want to ask." She was very happy to stray away from the painful topic of Yuki. It had hurt those things she had said. It had really hurt.

Polette "Yeah. I was actually there when the two from our litter left. They're sweet girls, both of them." He thought back on them; they were both so different, but they were his. "Yes, my daughter Mzuka. She's part lion." He grinned just thinking about her. He knew she was different, though it was an odd topic to bring up for him. "I used to tell all of my cubs stories about all of my travels when they were little. I still do, for my youngest. I guess that's when she picked it up." He grinned, thinking about those nights with only the remnants of the sun illuminating all of their faces. "I'll probably come back to see her, as I know....I know that she'll start a family here, and I'd love to be a part of it, even in the smallest way." Mauja felt a little more comfortable now. Eun Mi was very knowledgeable, and Mzuka would probably love to learn from her. Chobi_Chocobo Eun Mi smiled at the fact she was half lion. She was just like her Mei that she had let go. Just like Mei. It stung to think of her. It really hurt but Eun Mi had a feeling it was for the best she let her daughter go. She really hoped it was at least. "She is more then welcome in our lands," Eun Mi nodded, "I'll be happy to teach her everything I know if she is willing to learn it."

Polette "I'm glad." Grinning, he kept looked around anxiously. He knew Mzuka would be coming soon, and now that he had told Eun Mi about her, he thought that he should go ahead and start to head towards her and meet her. "Eun Mi, love, I'm going to go meet Mzuka. Then lead her here myself." Smiling, he rose to his paws. "I'm sure she'll have lots of questions for you. I'm....I'm really glad that you're here, Eun Mi. I don't think I'd trust anyone else." He laughed and turned, recalling his journey here. He felt more at ease, now, and it was for the best. Chobi_Chocobo Eun Mi gave him a warm smile. She was glad that his daughter was coming to the pride. She'd be able to pass down the things she knew to some one else. Some one like Mei. A half lion. "I'll be waiting right here," She nodded.
