There are a majority of people on Serebiinet's forums and chats that have hacked or poke-saved pokemon or team members. As a result, it's easy to get scammed for a hacked Pokemon. I've encountered people who have asked for my Milotic and all they offer me for it are Shinies or legendaries. Do you agree? Video of Serebii Hacker: Youtube-Turn off annotations to watch this-

That's almost everywhere actually (Serebii, Smogon, Marriland, etc), including the majority of other guilds and the majority of the VGD groups here on Gaia. Fortunately for our members, we do our best to prevent such things from happening here.

From what I've noticed the Action Replay users in this guild are open about it. I for one used to use one for making (Obviously hacked) pokemon. I don't use it anymore because I lost the cord to connect it to my PC to update the cheats and I am NOT going through 8 hours of manually adding codes just to cheat a game. I also usually stay away from the trading and battling areas of the guild because I used action replay. When I used to trade off pokemon (I always traded legit pokemon, never my hacked ones) I used to make them hold a masterball or rare candy or something and no one ever complained about getting them. The items were not legit but the pokemon holding them was. It also made it hard to learn the value of items or pokemon because you just enter a code and boom you have as many as you want. No fun in that. I'm happy to say I haven't hacked my Soul Silver game and probably wont since I've made it this far without the hacks. I don't frown on people using Action Replay, I frown on people who use action replay and try to pass their hacks off as legit.
Does giving a free hacked masterball or rare candy count as bad when the other person wasn't expecting any items just the pokemon?

The only AR cheat I use is the Rare Candy one, but all battles here are fought level 100 Single (i think), so it doesn't matter. It's not like I use Poke-Modifier all my Pokemon are legit, it's just they've been Rare-Candied.

I use an Action Replay to get my Pokemon, but they are all legitimate. I don't have the time to IV breed and EV train Pokemon anymore, so I just use my Action Replay to whip up a team in about 20 minutes. All the moves, stats, abilites, and items are legit, and I honestly think for most people, using the AR is just in the interest of time. There still are, and always will be people who hack illegitimate stats, but using the AR is perfectly fine as long as everything is legit.

I don't think you're allowed to use AR'd pokemon in battles in this guild though.. I just stay away from the battles anyways for fear of my poorly trained barely able to handle the E4 pokemon's lives. Any items I trade are legit items I found in one of my two games (Used to be three until traded in Diamond). I got two Jirachi's from the event today!

D/P Home Page After much debate, it has been decided that we will enforce the voluntary divulgence of any use of ActionReplay, Gameshark or any other form of video game hacking device. Although we do not condemn those who choose to use such devices (nor will we allow any of our members to do so either), we feel it best for those who do use such devices, to let others know that they do in order to give others a choice whether or not they wish to interact (DS-to-DS) with the user of such a device, prior to any possible battles or trades that may occur thereafter. Failure to voluntarily divulge this information, will not result in the banning from this guild, but may result from your removal from the Battle Tower, Wi-Fi Gym League or any other officially held guild event or tournament(s) which by default, do not allow the use of such Pokemon. Battles involving AR/GS'd Pokemon however may take place in the Wi-Fi Battling section, with proper notice underlining that you plan on using such illegitimately altered Pokemon. Upon acceptance to the guild, please divulge whether or not you use Action Replay ("AR"), Gameshark ("GS") or any other form of hacking device in the Introduce yourself sticky. Although voluntary in general, this divulgence is mandatory for those wishing to participate in any of the guild-sponsored tournaments and events. You should really read the these things

A Pokemon obtained through unnatural means, is not legit. I don't care if you gave it "normal" stats, it is still not a Pokemon produced by the game itself, thus it is not legit.
It is not fair to all the other Pokemon gamers to call your Pokemon legit when they put in the effort to breed and raise their Pokemon the way it is supposed to be done: in the game, where all you did was fill in a few spaces with numbers. I think its just being lazy to use an Action Replay to get your Pokemon, not a time saver.

I have to admit, when people whine about not having the time to evtrain and breed it drives me up the wall. So many others are able to breed and train with work and school. Evtraining shouldn't take more then an hour if you actually have Rus and Power Items, and don't get distracted. I can only advocate sav if you don't have the resources to produce a certain move-set and are planning to breed that poke, I personally don't care if you sav-ed for breeding; you are still going to the trouble of breeding a legit offspring and evtraining it; the chances of it getting the same ivs are still rather slim. But saving the whole team right off the bat, :/ come on. Put at least some effort into it.
No, hacking for items is not being cheap. It's generally excepted to AR for items and TMs. Specially one time items or Pick Up things like Dusk Stones. Hacking Pokemon themselves is the issue.
