It's that time again. Summer means we're all bored, and what better way to cure boredom than a Star Wars roleplay! Yay!

As usual, we'll have a vote between various ideas, submitted by members of the guild. All scenario ideas will be accepted so long as they follow certain guidelines in regards to detail, explaining the roleplay, character roles, and the overall story.

Once we have a bunch of ideas, we'll vote, and whoever wins will end up becoming the guild roleplay.

The Old Republic

When Revan and the Exile went to the Unknown Regions to battle the Sith, most thought he would succeed.

They were wrong.

Four hundred years have passed, while the galaxy has recovered from the Mandalorian and Jedi civil Wars. Most planets have finished recovery, and even the Jedi Order is up to pre-war levels.

That's when they came.

Out of nowhere, the Sith invaded, flooding over the Republic like a plague. Wardroids, Sith warriors, mandalorians, and more hit each planet, with such ferocity as hadn't been seen since Darth Revan.

It took a while, but gradually the Republic began to recover. The two sides fought to a standstill, until the Sith feigned weariness. While meeting for a peace treaty on Alderaan, the Sith launched a bold invasion of Coruscant . The Republic were caught completely off guard as their capital was sacked, and a large portion of the Jedi Order was slain.

Fast forward six months. The peace treaty took hold, but on Sith terms. Coruscant is held by the Sith, as well as much of the Mid and Outer Rim, while the Republic has relocated their capital to Alderaan. The war is at a terse standstill, and the galaxy is divided in two. While the temporary truce endures, both sides ready for a return to the war.

Based on the upcoming The Old Republic MMO.

Characters choose between two factions: the Sith Empire, or the Republic. They can choose a variety of 'classes' to determine how their character behaves, and then go out in the galaxy to make their mark, either in defense of their home, or as an aggressor.

Neutral characters such as Bounty Hunters and Smugglers will also be allowed.

The roleplay will be multi-thread, with a variety of established planets for each character to visit and participate in.

Order 66

One moment, the Grand Army of the Republic is fighting across the galaxy, beating the CIS into submission.

The next, Order 66 is called, and thousands of Jedi are gunned down everywhere.

Most Jedi have been killed and are fugitives from the law of the new Emperor Palpatine.Being in possession of a lightsaber is a punishable offense, and anyone helping Jedi can be killed on the spot.

However, not all clones have obeyed orders. One Venator-class Destroyer has refused to obey orders and turn on their Jedi friends. Instead, they've decided to go out in search of other Jedi, and to rebel against the Empire.

Single-thread roleplay, taking place largely on the Venator-class Destroyer. Roles will be limited mainly to crew and Jedi, with a few spots open to other. Enemies will mainly be NPCed by the roleplayers as well as a designated Game Master.
