    ..: The Story :..

User Image
To the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up: may you continue to bless our children's adolescence with the adventures you have taken.

User Image
"I do believe in fairies, I do, I do."

Once upon a time, there was a boy that never aged. He lived in a magical world called Neverland, where the people remained the same age, magically for all of time. A mischievous boy who can fly and magically refuses to grow up, Peter Pan spent his never-ending childhood adventuring on the small island of Neverland as the leader of his gang the Lost Boys, interacting with mermaids, Indians, fairies, and pirates, and from time to time meeting ordinary children from the world outside. It had been said that on one occasion, Peter Pan had brought a past Queen's daughter to Neverland with him for a very long time. Although years had passed since the girl had been taken, when the girl arrived back at home she could remember everything and remained the age that she was when she had left.

Decades have passed since Peter Pan's last visit, and no one knows quite what was mad of him. Out of an effort to forever remember her wonderful adventure, the girl eventually rose to Parliament and erected a statue of the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up, in the market. It has been said that Peter Pan returns to visit on rare nights of the Harvest Moon, only when the moon is at its largest and most orange of color. When he does, Peter Pan flies through the skies with his faerie friend Tinkerbell, blessing the youth of our lovable town. For without his blessing, your childhood would be most unenjoyable. So close your eyes dear child, because if you don't then Peter Pan cannot come to visit you in the night. And you'll be stuck in the house helping me with the dishes and duties for the next half year!

--From a collection of nighttime stories for mothers who are in desperate need to put their children to sleep.

    ..: The Rules :..

Obey the Guilds Rules and Guidelines, as well as Gaia's Terms of Service. Simple, not so elegant but nonetheless, required.

I don't want anyone posting in this roleplay besides myself or iiRawrzYaoi. This is our roleplay, not yours. If you wish to comment on the storyline, feel free to do so by PMing us or posting a comment on our profiles.

Commitment. It takes two to tango and while this isn't a dance, please remain active. If you don't like how something's going, let me know, rather than randomly bailing. This is collective so I want everyone to be happy.

Have fun. I like fun...hell, everyone does. If you're reading along with this roleplay, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Finally, this is a semi-lit to advanced lit roleplay. I'll post based off of what I receive, but nothing more than five paragraphs. Opening posts or posts that contain dreams, elaborate thoughts or plans can exclude this rule if necessary.

It was a crisp autumn evening, which had just let an afternoon rain pass by. The sidewalks, asphalt roads and landscaping were covered in freshly laid rain drops, that glistened whatever streetlight lit up the small orbs of water. A rather large, orange moon was visible against the dark sky, just to the right of the large clock tower in London. The streets were mostly empty due to the hour of night, and a gentle zephyr blew through every once in a while. Whatever sounds were audible, consisted of the occasional car, trash trucks or police patrol vehicles.

A boy of uncertain age glided through the air, a trail of sparkling gold dust following behind him. His clothes rustled in the air as he moved through it, his hair moving as well as the mysterious boy softly landed on a rooftop. He hid alongside on of the dormer windows of the large house, waiting for the patrol car nearby to pass before leaping off the edge of the roof. While any normal person would assume the boy to fall painfully to the ground, this particular boy merely floated in midair as swirls of golden dust moved around him.

The boy waited for a sign of the elder individuals inside the building to fall asleep, before slipping into the cracked windowsill and darting through the shadows of the room. Another boy appeared to be sleeping, and the mystery boy blended in with the shadows perfectly, with an exception of the faerie that was currently hiding in his pockets. The small woman was giving off a faint glow, which would probably give away his location. The boy peered out from behind the shadows of the dresser, watching the slumbering boy. Something about the teenage boy struck the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up's interest, and he decided to see what it was. That was, until he tried stepping out and was thrown back. His shadow was caught behind the dresser for some reason, and the boy had no idea why.

What accompanied his fall was a thump, a low grunt and the sound of something like small bells came forth as well, from the mystery boy's pocket. The faerie was very angry for having been thrown to the ground, and was currently yelling at the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up. But what she didn't know was that his eyes were locked on the one boy that was previously sleeping, and who was staring at him with a shocked look on his face.

"Neverland? Wow that place sounds so great!" A small boy said giggling softly as Remi finished the story. Remi smiled at the small boy, his neighbor who he always babysat on fridays and weekends until his parents got home. Remi nodded. "Sure! Its amazing! Indians, and pirates and mermaids..." he laughed a little as the boy picked up a baseball bat pretending it was a sword. "I am captain hook!" the boy said, Remi laughed a little more. "Well then, watch out captain hook for I am peter pan!" Remi tackled the boy down softly the two laughing.

After a bit, he put the boy to sleep pulling a blanket over him and not too late after the boy's parents where home. "thank you for the help again Remi, here is the money" the woman said handing him the money. "Thank you so much Mrs. Leigh, good night" Remi began heading home, he yawned. He'd been thinking about doing some homework before going to bed but he couldnt help himself. he was so tired that he fell asleep after laying down on his bed, not knowing that something magical was coming soon.Is ThIs PrEtEnD?

The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up slowly stood from the floor, watching the sleeping boy. The faerie jingled from beside him in the air, her golden sparkles slowly disappearing as they fell from her small, thin body. Her bright green wings fluttered quickly, although they didn't give off any sound that a normal person could hear. She jingled again, crossing her arms over her chest. "Aw come on Tinkerbell... I don't know what to do!" the Boy whispered, before looking around. His shadow skated across the wall and the boy of everlasting youth glanced over, seeing the shadow hide underneath the bed that the black haired boy was sleeping in.

Tinkerbell jingled again, pointing angrily at the bed. The Boy sighed, rolling his eyes. "Don't Peter me! I know what to do!" he hissed, before turning around and leaping for underneath the bed. However he had accidentally knocked over a wooden chair, and Tinkerbell ducked behind the dresser as the chair hit the carpet floor. Peter held tightly onto the foot of his shadow, slowly emerging from underneath the bed.

"Look, Tink! I got 'em!" Peter Pan said, but unfortunately forgot to whisper from the excitement. He cringed as he realized that his voice wasn't as quiet as it had previously been, and slowly turned on his heel. His dark green eyes fell upon the boy that had been sleeping, jumping slightly as he realized he had woken the boy up. As he jumped, Peter hovered in the air surrounded by Tinkerbell's faerie dust, holding a darkened outline of what appeared to be a perfect replica of himself. He flew into the corner of the ceiling and dropped the shadow, watching as it hid underneath the bed again.

"I uh....." Peter stammered, making eye contact with the other boy. Tinkerbell jingled from behind the boy's dresser, her golden light not helping her hide at all. "Tink! I will not bash him over the head to knock him out!" he scolded, slowly lowering himself from the corner of the ceiling and back onto the carpet. "You can ignore her...she doesn't have an manners," Peter said, reaching to reset the chair back to its rightful place.

User Image Is ThIs ReAl?Remi had been sleeping when he heard a sound, the sound of a boy. He slowly opened his eyes and sat up to see a blonde boy who he didnt know in his room, he blinked a few times tilting his head to the side curiously and then got a look at tinkerbell. Someone else would have screamed but Remi stayed quiet. He moved closer to the blonde slowly feeling his soft hair and looking deeply into his light eyes. "am I dreaming?" he asked him softly recognizing who that boy was. peter pan. "Or is this real...? are you really here..?" he asked.

Peter watched silently as the boy moved over to Tinkerbell. Kid's a brave soul for going over to her.... he thought to himself as he rocked on his heels a bit. Tinkerbell shook herself viciously, her golden sparkles falling onto the carpet before disappearing. She was throwing a tantrum because Peter had been spotted, something that hadn't happened in nearly fifty years. It had all happened yet again because his shadow escaped him again.

When the black haired boy approached him, Peter held his breath as the other reached through his blond hair. His breathed escaped him however when he laughed, shaking his head. "I sure hope not...because then that'd mean I'm not real," he joked, poking the boy in the chest. "And of course I'm here. It is the Harvest Moon...isn't it?" he asked, flying over to the window and outside, getting another look at the orange tinted moon. He flew back inside, the faerie dust around him settling as he scratched at his bare chest. He looked around, sighing.

"Just where did that shadow go?" he asked, whistling. Tinkerbell flew out from behind the dresser and shot underneath the bed, Peter's shadow flailing out from its hiding place. It darted for the blond boy, landing underneath his feet as it should have been. Peter sighed in relief, holding out his hand for Tinkerbell to land in it. "Thanks Tink.... I thought it would have gone as bad as the last time..."

User Image Is ThIs ReAl?Remi didnt know what to say, but then he giggled softly. "I knew you were real peter...i always knew it" he said softly standing up sitting down on a chair by the window. "but why are you here...? ...I guess because of your shadow.." he said as he noticed the shadow flying back to Peter. "I wish I could go with you Peter...you and tink...you have no idea how much my father bothers me...telling me to work more....and bothering me about university...I wish i could just live a great adventure like you" he said to the boy looking down sadly. Peter blinked a couple of times before looking over at Tinkerbell. She shook her head and started flying around Peter, her light yellow glow turning a deep orange. "Ehh....Tink doesn't think its such a good idea," Peter started, but noticed the look on the boy's face. Peter looked back at Tinkerbell but had a hard time keeping up with her as she was swirling around him so fast. Peter merely stuck out his arm and caught the faerie by the back of her dress, holding her out in front of him. "Oh calm down... I mean I haven't had much fun since Wendy...." Peter pleaded, before walking away from the boy so he could talk to Tinkerbell.

Don't give me that!" Peter hissed, glancing back behind at the boy before looking back at the faerie. She jingled fiercely again, crossing her arms over her chest with a stoic look on her face. "So what if he's no one I know. Heck, I don't know anybody outside of Neverland. And remember, someone wouldn't let me go see Wendy...." Peter said, pointing his free finger at the small woman.

Before the faerie could say anything else, Peter stuffed her into his frayed shorts pocket and crossed his arms over his bare chest, before looking down at the floor at his shadow. "Promise me you won't run away again," he demanded, only satisfied when the shadow gave him a thumbs up. Peter Pan turned around and walked back to the boy, poking his cheek. "Cheer up kiddo. We've got a long adventure coming up!" he exclaimed, holding out his arms across the air.

Peter looked at the boy and held up his finger, before walking over to the boy's dresser and opening up a drawer. He pulled out a pair of shorts and a plain shirt, tossing it to the black haired boy. "Get dressed! You can only wear plain clothes, because otherwise you'll never fit in with everyone else," he explained, moving behind the boy and looking at his body type. "I've got only a few extra clothes at my place, so bring another change if you want," Peter finished, before hopping into the air and sitting crossed legged.

"I'm ready peter.." he said happily. "are you gonna teach me how to fly?" he asked standing next to the other.

Peter settled himself back onto his two feet after the boy was finished changing, walking up to the boy. He placed his arm around the other's shoulder and pulling him closer as he extended his right arm towards the window. "Okay...what we need is for you to think of something happy. Very very...very happy," Peter started, looking to his left at the boy. He retracted his arm and took a step aside, pulling Tinkerbell out of his pocket. "Okay Tink....do your stuff," he said, tossing the faerie into the air. She fluttered above Remi and waited for Peter's signal.

When he was sure the boy was fixated properly, Peter nodded at the faerie. Tinkerbell began swirling all around the black haired boy, covering him head to toe with faerie dust. The boy's exposed skin would glow and soon enough Peter walked over to Remi and took his hand. "When we fly out of here, I'll take the lead. But I'll only let go when you're ready," Peter explained, smiling at Remi before flying into their air.

He led the boy out of his room and into the crisp damp autumn air, flying into the sky. He glanced behind him to make sure that Tinkerbell was following him, and Peter Pan flew with the boy towards the Bell Tower in the center of town. He placed them on the top, leaning over the edge to look down. "Well..we're pretty far up, huh?" he asked, laughing before watching Tinkerbell point towards the large glowing star to the north.

Peter moved over towards Remi, pointing towards the large star that Tinkerbell had been previously pointing to. She had flown over towards them, circling around them to get their attention. "We have to go Remi...window is closing quickly," he said, taking hold of the boy's hand and leaping off of the edge of the clock tower. They fell for some time, just as Peter had planned, before soaring back through the air like a hot knife through butter. They moved towards the North Star with quick speed, Tinkerbell flying beside them as they moved.

Within enough time the star grew larger and larger, until Peter told Remi to close his eyes. He tightened his grip on the boy's hand, soaring straight through the star. A bright white light surrounded them, as they appeared in a darkened sky much like London had been before they left. However the air was perfect-- not too hot, and not too cold. It was dark, but there were hundreds of thousands of stars in the sky all around them. And they could see every single one of them.

After diving through the clouds, Peter let go of Remi's hand and flew with Tinkerbell towards a very large tree. Around it was clusters of smaller tree, but Peter flew straight for the large tree. It was his own home, but several bridges surrounded it as they all led to the other houses of the Lost Boys. Peter landed inside, looking up and watching for Remi to follow as well. He'd catch the boy if necessary.
