  Things like this wane and wax in popularity and activity. I wouldn't be too concerned about the guild being inactive.
Also, none of the contests from before were honored, so deciding to do more would be foolhardy.

Just stating it... I think it's summertime, and people are going on vacation. Could that be another reason for inactivity?
