The snow leopardess was frolicking today. Frolicking along the shrubs within the trees she was dodging in and out. Her long, thick tail high in the air and tense, just like her when she stopped and listen for followers or someone approaching. She wasn't fond of strangers, especially if they weren't other leopards. Something about Dholes or Kirsa scared the tar out of her. Maybe because she thinks they killed her parents.
Sayeko didn't know who really killed them, or even if they were killed. All she knew is she had them one day, and the next they were gone, not even leaving a scent behind to help her track them. The odd colored female skidded to a stop and glanced around, her amber colored eyes never lingering too long. Now she was bored, hungry and wanted to snuggle up to something warm and go to sleep. It wasn't fun anymore, being by herself.

Miju loved water.
He didn't know what it was about the stuff, but the cold waters were always so relaxing to him, almost like a comfort blanket for the little fluff ball who had found himself lost from his beloved family. He can just imagine his siblings mocking him whenever he found them again - silly little Miju, always finding a way to get himself lost or stuck in a hole or something. Miju with the bad sense of balance. Oh well, he'll show em. His idea was - he'd meet as many awesome leopards and what have you, before finding his family so he could show off all the awesome stories he got while he was out here.
He'd show em!
Sighing softly from his faint enthusiasm, he heard a strange sound from not too far away, making him get up to investigate, his tail held high as he looked around the small forested path around him, eyebrows raised. "Who's out there?! I can hearrr you!"
Not the most cautious reply, but he didn't care today.

A voice! Oh, gods above, someone was out here?! Her heart started racing and she crouched in a bush before scurrying closer, not realizing how noisy she was going to be. Of course she was noisy; the little girl didn't know about being stealthy! But, being the ninja she thought she was, peeked her head out of the bush and stared right at the other leopard cub. Her amber eyes studied the fluff ball for a moment before she stepped out fully, wrapping her tail around for protection.
"Sayeko is here. Who are you? Why are you in my play place?" Her voice was high pitched with nerves and she looked ready to bolt The only reason she hadn't was because she recognized him as a leopard.

If there was anything Miju had expected, he hadn't expect an answer. Especially in the form of a head. Doubling back on himself he fell on his rump, dark eyes widening with shock at the sudden arrival of what appeared to be another cub.
Another cub! It had been at least a few days, if not more, since he saw another his age - The Ghost didn't count, becaus she had been an adult, but it was still nice to know that he had found yet another of his own race - which made him calm down a little. Eyebrows high, he searched her face for anything that resembled his family, but came up with nothing, which made him crestfall a little.
Besides, he had two brothers. Not a sister.
Opening his mouth once or twice, he finally found his voice, and answered her sharp questions, his eyebrows still pinned to the sky. "Miju!" he quipped, before catching himself once again. "My name is Miju. I just found myself here, I didn't even know there was someone else around here." Looking around jerkily, his long tail lifted and dropped a couple times, creating a slow drumming sound, "I thought my family would be here, so you know. . . " he trailed off, looking away.
