I'm just starting arneis (Philipine stick- fighting), and my master says that there are 12 places to aim for on the human body. That's cool, except....I can't remember them! Could someone help me?

I've never taken such art, but my guess would be-

Neck.
Armpit.
Kidney.
Outside of the knee.
Collar.
Thigh.
Upper Bicep.
Temple.
Forehead.
Back of the knee.
Solarplex.
And finally Groin.

Of course I base all these off of area's which could cause most sever pain without getting into the small joints such as ankles and wrists. So with that said, don't listen to me I'm probably wrong.

I'm familiar with the eight angles of striking, but haven't heard of eight targets for striking.

That's what I meant!! sweatdrop And there's 12. I can remember all but two.
1-right eye
2-left eye
3-heart
4-stomach
5-right side of the neck
6-left side of the neck
7-right rib-cage
7-left rib-cage
8-right hip
9-left hip
10-straight cut up (or down) through the body
11-??
12-??

Thanks, I remember now. 11 and 12 are the right and left knees. i can't believe that i forgot those 2! It's only the ones we always aim to in practice sweatdrop
