Having left her home in Motterossa to once again go journeying and training, Alexa had managed to wander to the Pilkiras Plains. It had taken a few days, but Vincent didn't mind her hitching a ride on his back. He especially had fun when she let out Stribog, her new Swablu.

She was currently watching her pokemon romp around in the grass. Vincent was trying to get Apolla to play with him while she was doing her best to avoid the big dog. Stribog was circling above them squawking at them both. She was smiling at them all and thinking about how great a day it was.

Vincent was the first to hear and spot Flint. He stopped pestering Apolla and stood up looking in the distance. His tail began to wag as Flint drew closer. "Arrrrr!"

Alexa looked to Vincent confused. What had he spotted now? She grinned hearing her friend call her name. "Hey Flint!" She quickly stood up and began walking to him, "You still have that Tauros from the trip!" Her smile grew figuring Flint had been allowed to keep the pokemon.

"You are super lucky then." Alexa replied, "And so is Rush. Poor guy is missing part of his horn." She reached out to pat the Tauros. "So what are you doing out here?" Apolla was up against Alexa's side staring at the big bull pokemon. Stribog was circling down ready to land on Rush's good horn.

Vincent looked at Rush wagging his tail. He moved closer and began sniffing.

Alexa gently patted Apolla and chuckled. "That's funny and cute." She said, "Well that's good that he's not hindered by it. You didn't answer me about what you're doing out here?" Stribog landed on Rush's good horn and began preening himself.

Apolla took the pats from her trainer while looking up at the Tauros with contempt. "I believe I'm looking up at a big ugly and dumb old bull. With a stupid nasty bird on it's horn." She flicked her tails and turned her head away.

Vincent nudged Rush with his nose and barked. "Play? Want to play?"

Vincent began grinning in his doggish way. "Sounds fun! How do we play?!" He was wagging his tail and clearly missed the part of them punting Apolla.

Apolla continued to look away ignoring Rush until he mentioned the game. "How dare you! I'm far smarter than you'll ever hope to be!" She was growling and her fur was bristling. She glared at Stribog as he began chirping in amusement.

"That's cool. Bet you're enjoying the freedom, huh." It was then she heard Apolla and glanced down at her Vulpix. "Little miss drama queen." She sighed and pulled out a pokeball. She called Apolla back and put the ball back. "Sorry about that. Apolla..... is well Apolla."

Alexa grinned. "Yeah it is great. That's true but knowing Apolla she did not say something nice to him." She leaned towards him and whispered, "She's a bit egotistical. And vain." She shook her head.

Vincent cocked his head wondering why Apolla had to go back into the pokeball. "Tag or Chase! Those good games! Bird can play too!"

Alexa nodded. "Most can.... Anyways.... I hope you'll be up to a battle one of these days. I'm sure Apolla would love to fight Rush." She laughed at that, knowing how true it was.

"I don't know! Both sound fun!" Vincent whined.

Alexa nodded while grinning. "We'll have to set a date for it later." She paused and looked over to her stuff, "Do you and Rush want to stay for lunch?"

Vincent looked at Rush tail slightly wagging. He then focused on Stribog and barked. "Chase! Chase Stribog!"

"Oh no you don't!" Stribog squawked. He took off from Rush's horn and began flying away. No way was he going to play that game! Of course him flying off signaled the start.
