Recently someone mentioned in the suggestions forum that they'd seen homophobia in this guild. I don't know what specifically they were talking about, but I wanted to make it clear that such things are never okay in this guild. I'm going to be taking a harder stance on this from now on. This guild should be a place where anyone can come and feel safe. I know that certain jokes have gone unmentioned in the past, but I'm going to have to ask you all to no longer make any jokes you wouldn't make in front of a parent or teacher, and please, be careful with your language. Swearing is still fine, but any hateful words are unacceptable. It's in our rules and Gaia's TOS. I'm not saying that anyone here is a homophobe, racist, or bigot, but it is very easy to appear that way without realizing. I would hate to think that we've become an unwelcoming place for anyone to be.
In summery, we've had a complaint and as a result I'm asking all of you to please be careful and respectful of those around you. I know that we have a guild full of wonderful, fun, kind, open people, and I'm certainly not accusing anyone of being anything otherwise. Let's just all try to be a little more careful from now on with what we say to each other.

First of all, it takes two people to make a relationship work, so it isn't all on you, and second sometimes things just don't work out between two people. That's just the way things work.
