Sure you can. The private detective only pops up every now and then. Hanyu is Rika's best friend plus she is the guardian of the village but she is in human form and she is very skittish. Like can't complete a sentence because she gets embrassed. But you can be 1 or both

Welll the original series she was with Tomitake and she worked as a nurse for Irie. She had something to do with the murders of Hinamizawa but Tomitake rescued her at the end of the series and takes her away hopefully to save her. So she is kind at heart but is mysteryous. She enjoys things from Rika's family like their torture devices that are hidden in the storages. Still wanna try?
