I've been importing my main team in Pokemon Pearl to Soulsilver. One of my favorite members was an amazing level 100 Aggron from somewhere in Japan. It's data said that it met the previous trainer in a far-away place at level 65. I assummed it must have come from Johto. When I traded it to Soulsilver, however, it said it was obtained on April 9, 2099 at a place called "Battleground". Any explanations??

A room where a trainer could battle the gym leaders. So Zetshimaru's guess is that it was caught from one of the gym leaders.
Byron has a level 65 aggron.

Most definitely obtained via the "capture any" cheat/hack, as it was obviously caught/stolen while battling Byron. My recommendation, release it and don't look back.
