So My summary for the 3 big companies at E3.

Nintendo came in and left with a huge bang this year! I was very pleased with most of their items. The 3ds, 2 new Zelda games!! Now that's just awesome, who wouldnt want a Wii or 3ds after those games release? And it's even better that Nintendo came in as Nintendo, they didn't try to bring something out of their realm to the wii.

Sony... Sony, Sony, Sony! Wtf!!?? Playstation move?! The wii is the wii because it's the first and best of the 3 systems to be doing the motion control thing. Leave it alone! You would have been better off working on the playstation home you abandoned and such! The games you showed... most of them were great. Especially the old republic. I've never been one for MMO's, but that made me consider it. Twisted metal!!? Haven't played that since I was 10, and even then it was 8 years old.. KIllzone 3.. jetpacks. Enough said. blaugh

Now look what happened yesterday.. Microsoft and it's 360 slim is a must have for my room. Kinect(Project Natale), completely blew my mind away. It's not a remote, but your actual body doing the exact motions and such. And last year with the MILo thing? Amazing.. Rage? We all know the 360 has to struggle to spit out 1080 right? Well Rage+360slim= no more struggle. That game looked like it was on my uncles HDtv with my ps3 and final fantasy XIII. Oh and did I forget to mention theres finally a release date for Monster hunter frontier online... FOR 360!! Japan gets theres June 24th! That rumor is finally true. At first I was upset because I thought it should stay with playstation, but when I thought hard about it;The 360 community is a lot better than the PSN. It functions better, it's more interactive, maybe thats why the require you to pay for it. lol ^^

Nintendo and Microsoft really impressed me this year. Sony's playstation move took all my hype away, now I'm just waiting for the games to release. I plan to have a 360slim before the end of July, a new Wii probably in January if I really want just 3 games. My ps3 will just... stay here with it's ultra collection of rpg's. But now that I've hsared my input.. what'd you think about this years E3 and any other gaming rumors you heard of.

p.s Not pokemon B/W... theres a thread for that AND we all should know about it by now.

Microsoft just needs to sell Halo to Playstation and go back to PCs, cause between Playstation and Nintendo, everything exist. 3D gaming, motion interation, wonderful fighting games, platformers for everyone. Shooters of one kind or another. What does the Xbox have that they don't? Not a damn thing.. Microsoft's presentation Monday left a lot of people disappointed.

The Playstation, on the other hand, is continuing to evolve. Sure, the motion controls look silly as hell and we all know Nintendo is WAY ahead in that department, but atleast they have it. Can't expect the Wii to come out with a Motion interactive Final Fantasy game, after all. On top of that, the games that are coming out are going to be amazing. Metal Gear Soild Rising, Gran Trismo 5, Marvel vs Capcom 3, and even Fear 3 looks amazing. I can't wait!

Now, not to be mean or anything, but you did a bad job summing up Nintendo's conferance. The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword takes the motion controls to a new level, and with amazing graphics to boot. The Ocarina of Time Remake is going to be amazing on the new 3DS. What you seemed to over look is the return of some old time favorites: Donkey Kong and Kid Icuras. Donkey Kong Returns is going to be awesome, when Nintendo sold Rareware I thought a new game would never come out. It is about time Nintendo stepped up and made a game returning to the old favorites. Now, I've never played the original Kid Icarus, but I do know that it has been a few generations since there was a game out. The game looks like it will be another huge hit. Ever since they added Pit into Brawl, the fan base has been wanting a new game, and here it is!

Also, along with those, Capcom is adding a few titles to the Nintendo 3DS, including Resident Evil and a Street Fighter remake. Metroid Other M has been an anticipated title for a while. The trailers have been out and about, and the game is at the top of my list as well.

I'm going to have to disagree with you there Luther. I honestly think it's time for Sony to swallow its pride and go back to making games for Nintendo and leave the console market to those who actually know what they're doing. Seeing how Playstation Move requires those silly looking remotes + the PlayStation Eye to even work, the Wiimote and Kinect/Project Natale are both far superior products. Seriously, your giving them props for failing to duplicate the Wiimote and/or finding a new reason to try sell thier crappy eye? Minus that racing game, everything you listed is also coming out on Xbox 360, except 360 will also have titles such as Halo Reach and Gears of War 3.

Being completely honest here, I give Microsoft many props for perfecting the online feature (even if they charge for it) as we all know exactly how "reliable" Nintendo's WFC is.

Nintendo isn't doing all bad, I mean The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Metroid: Other M, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby's Epic Yarn and suprisingly even the remake of Goldeneye 007. And that's just what's coming out for the Wii.

Luther, my point was Playstation shouldn't have made a motion controller in the first place, Let the wii do that. A motion interactive final fantasy?... That would be close to pointless in my opinion. Yes, I did give props to Sony for their games, but I aid that hype was lost when they tried to brag about their Playstation move.

What does the Xbox have that ps3 doesn't? Well... Now that the 360 slim is out, the ps3 and Xbox have no more "this one is better". They both do the exact same thing except blu-ray disk. Now it's just a matter of opinion and genre the companies work with. Rpg's are better on the ps3 in my opnion and shooters for the 360. The online community is just better for 360. Oh, but fighters go to ps3^^

Now the games you listed for Nintendo, Kid Icarus and donkey kong. I thought they had like 25,000(exaggerated) D.K games already.Kid Icarus is something to look foward to, but another D.K game just didn't make my face go "OOh!".

p.s Playstation eye is retarded. neutral

You make it sound like a preffer the Playstation over Nintendo. stare

As I told Soren while I was watching the PS conference: "You know Nintendo is sitting in the audiance thinking 'Boy are they going to be upset next year.' Because you know that Nintendo is way ahead of them and is cooking up the next evolution for the Wii."

Do I think the PS Move is intriguing? Yes, as stupid as it looks. Do I think it is superior to what Nitendo has going on? Hell no. My alliance is and always will be with Nintendo. However, I also love Capcom, and thinking about what they can do with the PS Move has me curious. Everything else, I don't give a damn about.

I will admit, my hatred for the Xbox runs deep, but I try not to let it blind me to a complete bias oppinion. As Azure said, it is a matter of prefferance. My preferance is that Playstation is better, but that might have something to do with the fact I am a fighting game and RPG fan, and do not like the Xbox's controls. The "Red Ring of death" is another thing I would rather not deal with. Aong other things, but that is another conversation.

There have been other Donkey Kong games, but they have all been horrible spin offs ever since Donkey Kong 64. Rareware knew how to make DK games, and when Nintendo sold them to Microsoft (I think it was to them) than the good games just stopped and the spinoffs were all flops. Which is why I am excited because I grew up with the DK series back during the Super Nintendo days.

Lol! xd Everything else, I don't give a damn about." Too funny.

I also love Capcom, fighting and rpg games, so of course I chose to buy the ps3 over the 360 as well. But what exactly can they do with the playstation move besides what the wii does now? They can't make a full rp with a stick attached to the ball, because then they might as well come out with some virtual like piece that allows you to play with your own body and mind. i.e .Hack
I personally think Playstation would have been so much better off doing something like this. They have the parts to start a prototype or start practicing with it, but they haven't really decided to do anything like it.

The ring of death is annoying. My brother has a 360 and we had to send it in 3 times to fix that dumb ring, but like I continue to say, the new Xbox 360 slim has taken care of this. Think of the old 360 as a failed project and the new one as the success. the slim has fixed all the problems the old 360 had and then added some. They've worked on their problems and fixed it remarkably.

Seeing how Playstation's biggest companies supplying them of their RPGs and Fighting Games (Square Enix, EA, Bioware, Namco, Sega, Ubisoft, Atari, Capcom, Namco, Midway, etc) are all the same third party companies that make games for all three platforms, that's hardly a justifiable argument on which is better. RPGs are good for playing alone (unless your talking MMOs, then your best off on a PC anyways) and Fighting games are best online, which is why my preference solely falls to 360 as it does have the superior online capabilites of all three consoles. The ring of death is not as common now as it was back then. Yes, it appears to be a scar that Microsoft will never live down, but ever since production of the Core, Pro and Arcade models were discontinued, the Ring of Death is not so common anymore in the newer models. On the other side fo that coin, it is quite funny how there is now technically no ring of death in association with the S model, but if an error ever does occur, it has been replaced with an "eye of death" now. xd

Completely off topic in a sense, I would honestly love to see a new Sega console arise. That in itself would be retro nostalgia at it's best, seeing how Sega had tons of the features nowadays consoles brag about way back in the day. The Dreamcast controller alone was innovative for it's time but perhaps Sega was dreaming too big, like Sony it's stubborness to include a Blue Ray disc drive.

The Ocarina remake pretty much made the 3DS a must have for me. But the news of Star Fox 64 getting a remake too is just even more amazing. Skyward Sword... Art style change plz. GODS I hate the art style, it just doesn't fit. They said that they're going to change it for the full build so I'm happy; a sort of impressionist style, wonder how that will go. Aside from that I love the thing.

I didn't see anything for Microsoft or Sony. So I can't say anything, other then Miyamoto was at the Kinetic display, and his face was priceless. "Miyamoto is not amused." >:L. The only real thing outside Nintendo I cared about was Rayman Origins. AT LAST! I get a new Rayman game without rabbids. It looks amazing, they hint at co-op, it has mythology from almost all the games, and it just looks so fun.

Nintendo kicked out a lot to keep me sucked in. I might have to dust off my Wii blaugh .
Microsoft only had one thing that got me hooked in and that was Naruto ultimate ninja storm 2.
Sony disappointed me because they had nothing (From what i saw) for the PSP.
What grabbed me the most though was the PC. With the new KOTOR and FF XIV coming out my laptop will have to go over drive.

Man the line up for the 3DS games are already amazing!! Im getting all of them except for Steel Driver and Pilot wings!

if they would have revealed these on tv then they would of had more to back up Pit, but i couldn't give 2 craps worth for watching those movies! maybe i will when they are out, but i will be too busy playing ocarina of time!!! hehe yay!

Yes yes, I'm sure excited about the plans Nintendo has in store for us. A next gen handheld, beautiful games to boot. This next year is going to be one heck of a ride for the gaming population.

Though Nintendo has me excited, right now what has my attention and a majority of my excitement is what's cooking up on the Psp:

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.

I don't know about the rest of you but this is one of my personal favorite series, and I'm absolutely stoked about this game. It's set to be released September 7th, so only a couple months to go. I dont have a Psp [yet], but I would happily get one just to play this game. Cannot wait.

If I had the money to spare, I would buy me a Metal Gear Peace Walker PSP bundle. I will give Birth by Sleep a try, but personally I think the Kingdom Hearts series is too far spread. I love the main series, but can hardly stand these spinoffs. Certain things don't make sense, or I feel like they redone. I also don't get why Roxas is staring in a game that's supost to be a prequel.

I know what you mean Luther, KH is a bit all over the place. But the way I see it, it's a bit like the LoZ franchise; Several different games about Links adventures [regardless of how related each game is to each other]. But rather make a game with the same character [Sora], its a game about several different ones and how they're all connected, i,e, their hearts. And btw the protagonist in BbS is not Roxas. wink

I'm with you, Static. Thanks to my graduation money, I was able to nab a new PSP-3000 series with FF Dissidia AND preorder and fully pay off KHBBS, so all I have to do is head to Gamestop on the 7th and nab the game along with whatever cool preorder bonus they have (oh, and the guidebook. I won't forget that). Speaking of it, I'm sure you all saw the E3 BBS trailer. I was hoping that with Zack in the game, Genesis Rhapsodos would be the new secret boss (after all, the game could use a Sephiroth without actually adding Sephy in), but now that I see it is a Reverse/Dual-Weilding Lightsword version of Xemnas, I am still psyched. I wonder what he'll be called. In any case, it'll be awesome. (Also, for those who care, in the week I have had the game thus far I have unlocked Inward Chaos and have gotten Zidane to level 91. I have had prior experience with Dissidia, and found the FFIX characters to be my favorites to use. I actually like using them more than I do Sephiroth, which kinda surprises me. Kuja hasn't been leveled as much, but I'll get him up there.)
