"It'll happen today..."
A ruffling of the leaves and foliage on the ground could be heard with every footfall the younge female made. Besides that, she would be a hard one to spot. Her fur color complimented the surrounding enviorment- the greens blended in with the plants all around her, and the bright pruple uptop her head from afar looked like a great big purple flower.
She squinted her eyes as she turned around to see how far from home she was... not taking into consideration earlier that all the foliage would make it quite difficult to tell how far out she actually was. The last time she felt as though she had travled miles, the lionness found out that she wasn't far away at all.
"I'll find him." Her tail swayed back and forth, continuing to make her way further and further away from not only her home... but her pride lands. Her white ears twitched, listening for the sound of the waterfall near her clans home, but for some reason she couldn't hear it. Did someone plug up their water supply?

The Male Leopard rarely wandered this close to a lion pride, especially this one. He had once tried to make a move on one of the guards, only to find his bum handed to him in a bruital fight- the one thing he tried to avoid at all cost.
From where he layed, he knew he was rather safe. Reth let out a great yawn as he looked down from a low branch. His eyes widended as he realized a bright green lionness pratically snuck up on him, though it seemed as though she hadn't seen him.
There was no way he wanted to get in another fight with one of these fisty girls, however this ones deminer seemed much different than that of the pervious female he had encountered. He pondered for just a moment before making his move.
"Excuse me miss, might you be able to help me find my way out of this jungle?"

Dauna was getting more nervous by the minute.. what if she was lost?
"WOAH!" She screeched, taking by surprise by a voice calling out to her. She leped into the air and spinned around trying to find who the voice belonged to. "He... hello?" Nobody was around as far as she could tell.. until she looked up.
It was a bright looking lion, a female? Dauna couldn't tell.
"Oh, excuse me.. you surprised me." She looked down at the ground in embarassment. She sat downed and lifted her head to talk to the lion. "How did you get up there? I use to try all the time to get real high in a tree when I was a cub, but could only manage to get a bit off the ground before falling right into the dirt!" She rambled on, not realizing she had yet to even ask this creature for it's name or for that matter it's clan.

"So sorry miss, usually I put more effort into making sure I don't scare the living daylights out of folks. I do have a tendancy to take lions by surprise..." The Leopard looked at the female with a rather confused face... even though she didn't look mean, he most certainty wasn't expecting her to greet him with such open paws.
"How did I get up her?" Taken a back by her question, he wasn't exactly sureh ow to answer it. "Well... I go up trees all the time. It's just something I've always been able to do since I was very young."
It became apparent to Reth that she wasn't going to hurt him. He loved the company of females, so it didn't seem like it would hurt any stick with her for awhile.
"Do you know of any good areas to relax around here? I'm a bit tired from traveling in circles all morning." The white leopards tail swished back and forth as he spoke.

Dauna's ears twitched as this creatures question. Place to relax.... join them... If this was a girl, was she asking her on some sort of date!?
"Uh sorry... but I don't swing that way." She spoke with a twisted look on her face. Of course a lot of girls in her pride did, but she really liked boys more than most of the higher ups would like the female pride members to.
"And I can't really let you get away with just walking in here if your an outsider, unless... you here to join the pride?" The Green Lion got excited at the idea of another addition to the lands, it has been hauntingly quiet around the Jungle as of late and she barely ever met up with another pride member.

"Uh? Oh, sorry then." The male leopard wasn't much surprised at the females answer. Most of the gals here didn't see much worth in spending quality alone time with males.
Reth panicked for a moment as Dauna brought up the fact that he shouldn't be here.... oh, but just a quickly she seemed to have given her an out.
"Why... yes. Are these the K'N lands? I guess I wasn't lost after all!" He said nervously, lying thru his teeth. It was in his best interest to after all, keep this lady happy. The lioness around these parts were notorious for being much stronger than the rogue girls he was use to.

Thankfully the white lioness didn't try to woo Dauna into joining her any further. Something good had come out of their meeting though- another member!
"Great! I can take you to the lionesses you need to speak with before you can become an official member. Come on, follow me." Her tail whipped around behind her and she started to pounce off.
They would be so proud of her for recruiting a new member. Perhaps they would let her stand guard again after that little stunt with the other outsider lion she had hung out with for an afternoon.

Ugh he seemed to be getting into more of a mess by the minute...
"Excuse me, miss!" He screeched before she could run any further, all Reth needed was for her to bring the attention of his presence to every pride member nearby.
"Like i said, I am very tired from my journey here. Is there any way you could take things slowly? And I would appreciate it if you didn't speak of my decision to join with any other pride members until it's official.. I am rather insecure about my coat color, especially next to your beautiful green coat. I'm not entirely sure they would let in such a dull colored leo... lion like me in this noble pride."
What cheesy lines where coming out of his mouth, but.. until he was safely in reach of the rogue lands, there wasn't much choice.

"Awe your tired?" Dauna stopped in her tracks and looked back at her soon-to-be new fellow pride member.
"That's alright! It's not too far from here... I think." It was then Dauna realized she was completely lost. She had never seen this part of the jungle before, and that would explain why she had such a hard time hearing the waterfall.. she was too far away from it. Panic set in, she knew she would get in trouble again for being outside of the lands. Would anyone even notice if she was away for the afternoon? What if she bumped into a guard and they wouldn't let her back into the pride? She had heard stories before of that happening...
And to top it all off here she is wandering around with another outsider. This one was actualliy interested in joining, but the fact that she had already been warned about such behavior had the green lioness worried to the core.
"Uh... um..." She said nervously.

Reths ears twitched at the look on the Green Lionesses face. What a rollarcoaster of emotions this one had.
"Hun, is there anything wrong?" He crawled so that he was right next to a nearby bush. There was no telling what got her spooked, and it could very well have been another pride member spotting her. Surely other members would realize he wasn't a female lion and possibly try to kill him for being so close to one of their pride members.
"What's wrong with you?" He whispered, trying to keep on the down-low.

Forget trying to get this gal in to talk to the higher ranked leaders, she needed to get away from this lioness as soon as possible and back into the pride lands without getting caught. She turned around and saw that her traveling companion was crouched over and hiding almost behind a bush.. which was near a very large tree that rose a little bit higher above the jungle canopy than the others around it.
"Change of plans!" Dauna spoke in a panic, but her voice seemed a bit more optimistic than before.
"I need you to do something for me.... climb up that tree and tell me in which direction do you see mist from a waterfall?" Her ears were folded back and her body hunched over as though she was about to be told off.
"Please, hurry! I need you to do this for me, please."

"Climb this tree?"
The thing was huge and getting to the top safely would be very risky business, even for a rogue like Reth. Suddenly his one weakness shown thru as he heard the female utter the words "Please".
Once a lovely lady asked for his help, there was no going back.
"Alright... keep an eye out for me." He sighed and started to grasp at the bark on the tree. Lots of it crumbled inbetween his claws as he grasped higher and higher, but he wouldn't progress until he knew for sure he had a good footing.
After several minutes of climbing, he looked back down and the female wasn't even looking up at him... but perhaps this was a good thing, since she might see things on him she hadn't noticed before at ground level.
Finally he reached a thin branch at the top of the canopy. This was an incredibly high distance for any animal to be, even the light weight mammals. He wanted to get down as quickly as possible so he went to work looking for that waterfall.
"There.. There it is!" He pointed one of his paws in the waterfalls direction. These lions had a much bigger pride land that he had previously thought, it might be best to stay as far away from it as possible in the future.
"Alright I'm coming down!"

"Thank you so much!" Dauna purred.
...and that was her cue to leave. She was far too polite to tell this lioness that she wouldn't be able to help her out, and there was a risk she might follow her back. So Dauna crept off as quickly as she could without making too much noise.
Hopefully she got out of the tree okay, but as far as the little green lioness was concerned it wasn't her problem anymore. She just couldn't risk getting in trouble again.

Before Reth started making his way down the tree, he turned his head to find the direction of the rogue lands.
"Not too far away...." He mumbled to himself. Now how was he going to get away from this female so eager to take him to her leaders? First thing's first: Getting out of this tree.
Everytime he dropped down a little bit more, his pawpads felt like they where on fire. The bark was still coming off as easily as it had before, although it would be expected by wood that most likely hadn't been touched in many years.
Then suddenly.... Crack! Reth let out a howl as he began his freefall to the ground.
"s**t s**t s**t!" He screeched and stretched his paws out with claws fully exposed, flailing them around in hopes of snagging a branch, foliage, anything to break his fall before the fall broke him. The leopard found himself in the path of an outstretched branch from a nearby tree. He grabbed on and the tree moaned with the sudden weight being thrusted upon it. At this point all the leopard could do was hope the branch held out long enough for him to get a steady footing. Although the fall was terrifying, it had gotten him much closer to the ground and with that in much older and stronger branches.
After what seemed like eternity, the branch began to bounce back. The male let out a sigh of relief before darting across even more branches. This was his chance to put as much distance between himself in that female as possible.
Between the females will attack with no mercy and the... simple minded, it was worth the trouble to find a tree elsewhere to spend the night in from now on.
