A Territory for the Lost.

Welcome to the sanctuary.

Here you will find a collection of cats that have found themselves lost, hurt, or without anywhere else to go. This territory isn't like anything Ikebukuro has ever seen before...because though it is a territory, it is not always a permanent home for cats that pass through their front gates.

Ecclesia is a territory that popped up after the rescue of the large amount of Facility cats that were tortured and manipulated by the humans. The cats that run the territory have taken over a rundown, destroyed church on the outskirts of the city that has long since been forgotten and untouched for many years.

The cats of this territory believe greatly in rejuvenation and sanctuary, which means that there will be some strict rules here in this territory. If you're still interested, please look below.

The Rules †
Words to Live By.

† This is a place of rest and rejuvenation. There will be no fighting.
† You will follow the words of the master and the disciples. They are the law here.
† You may come and go as you please, as long as you make no enemies in the territory hierarchy.
† If asked to leave, you leave. You are no longer welcome here.
† Let the master or disciples know if you are staying here, so all cats are accounted for and all cats get the treatment they need to get better and/or survive.

The Master †
Meet the Leader.

Naoyuki †

Nao has wandered Ikebukuro for quite some time now, staying silent and to himself up until recently. He helped with the great rescue of the Facility cats and decided to open up his silent home as a sanctuary to those who were in need of a helping hand.

Though he is not religious, nor was he raised by a religious family, he does have a few disciples that are out to help him spread the word of the Sanctuary so that the news can spread that there is a safe haven away from the busy streets of the city and the usual fights and hostility of the streets.

Now, he will not tolerate people bad mouthing him, nor will he tolerate violence or drama on his territory. What he says, goes...but he wont be violent about it, nor will he judge those he allows in and out of his home. Because this has been his own home for quite some time, the cats that wander into his territory should be thankful that he's welcomed them with open arms and is willing to share his abundance of food, water, warmth and companionship.

But remember--as a stray and a long-time rogue he does have a bit of a temper to him, even if he doesn't outwardly show it.

Disciples †
The Followers.

Below is a list of disciples that wander the surrounding cities to spread the word of their sanctuary so that more cats will have a safe haven to return to when night falls, or even when the sun rises.

Disciples are chosen by Nao himself, and are trusted companions of the territory whether they live there or not. Though they are expected to come back every now and again to meet with Nao and the other disciples.

Kevin.

Kevin is the usual case of a stray cat on the streets. He came to this city with a priest who was transferred to a new church, and lived amongst the priests in the church dormitory for quite some time. However, he decided to go out on his own one day when he heard a bit about the sanctuary for cats like himself. He still visits the priests every now and again, but found that the human church was holding him back. Kevin is a sweet-tempered kitten who loves other cats, and just about every other animal that one could think of. He was raised about the Roman Catholics and even around the Buddhists in his travels, so he often quotes phrases from the bible and other such teachings without even thinking about it.

Elijah †

Elijah’s one optimistic guy despite his past hardships. Born blind, forced into the adoption system with mixed results, and with no contact with his American family, he managed to somehow keep his chin up while experiencing pain on various levels. He is easily frightened to be sure, tends to be submissive, and he develops a stutter when excited or otherwise anxious, but the kitten is quick to warm up to those who show affection or even a smile. Adopted by Morpheus and Aranyani, Eliijah is slowly opening himself back up to other cats and, with the news of a sanctuary being created, he hopes to help spread the word as a disciple. He is also beginning to acclimate into Roman Catholisism, as his family was originally.
