Basic Information

The weapon is essentially intended to be a smaller, lighter weight, extremely effective close to medium range combat bullpup combat weapon. Exploiting the design of a relatively small, efficient, proven, and bull-pup combat weapon, the Steyr-Aug, the weapon uses the 9mm submachine gun variants over-all design to allow it to use a more powerful, more accurate, farther reaching 10mm round. The weapon ironically nearly reaches the power achieved by the 5.56mm round, but more accurately reflects power generation at closer ranges. The gun is essentially an extremely powerful sub-machine gun, exploiting a somewhat medium powered 10mm round that, with the elongated barrel (instead of the 4.6 inch barrel it's normally used in) produces an extremely high energy pistol round. While smaller than a typical 5.56mm round, is ironically heavier, being roughly 16.5 grams per cartridge, compared to 12 grams for the 5.56mm NATO rounds.
