The park was always flooded. More in the day time than in the night time of course.

From the skies he could see children running about without any care of the people around them. Such was the life of a child. Chasing each other, playing tag, or flying kites. Many of these children were born in Sanctum, so their life was spoiled without the threat of demons little in this place. The only thing that worried the parents were common thievery's, be they human or not.

People would always practice football, soccer or baseball here even if the fields for those were else where in West Sanctum. But this was a public place and no one really minded.

He shifted turn upon his board and looked off towards the carnival. Though he could move freely through it he wasn't much in a mood to take a tour of it. So, he'll skip to the Tennis Courts.

"Now lets see..You said that you could talk to trees, right? Hear what they are saying and all? If that's the case.." He paused and looked about. There were a couple of trees around - new and old- and currently he was looking for a rather old one. Misora may be no different than a Dryad. The only difference is she isn't bound to a tree like most, and I won't ask her about such things..Hm..this tree looks good..but..

The bark of the tree that he was feeling was rather dry and old, and could easily come off if he yanked it hard enough. Termites obviously once reigned on this poor thing, and other humans or demons found it romantic to write decications of love on it. "Tell me, Misora..which tree here yearns for partnership? Which one calls to you more strongly as if they were seeking for help?"

Misora tilted her head to the side and listened with her eyes closed. "None call out for partnership... SHe began, then pointed toward the old tree, "That one is complaining the loudest. Its upset about being carved into and all of the termites living in it." She pointed to another older tree that was on a small hill "That one is happier watching everyone play during the day, but is sad that there isn't as many people now because its night. Its lonly." She said, then opened her eyes and lowered her arm. She turned and looked back up at Nate, "Is that what you mean by partnership?"

Well that was a good game of tennis i guess... I thought to myself as I walked through the Park. There were still some people around but I paid little attention to my surroundings. I was more attentive to the part of me missing... a sword strapped on my back.
"Man... I feel so weird not carrying a sword on me after so long." I stretched my back making most of my bones pop and let out a loud sigh. "Then theres my guns... need to get them tuned up so they wont bust on me after long periods of time using them consecutively " I looked up at the night sky and realized I had almost gotten myself lost again. "Hmmm I wonder where the weapons shop in this place..." I wondered

Nate questioned his own way of words. Perhaps partnership might not have been the first. He had moved too quickly into the meaning of a nymph. Misora was only part so perhaps he should take it easy. "That is well enough." He replied, guiding the little nymph towards the tree she said was lonely.

In the night time it seemed a little gloomy, and brushes of wind kept blowing its leaves out of its branches. Perhaps it was that time of year. He kneeled behind Misora and carefully placed a hand on her stomach. "Now, listen Misora. We're going to try to lift this tree's spirits with your music. Everything and everyone likes music, but we're going to try to get this tree to love yours. What I want you to do is first try to sing, but don't sing. Just vocalize your voice until you start feeling that feeling in your stomach. When you do try to keep it there, mold it until it begins to grow. It might feel uncomfortable, but I want you to get used to gathering that same feeling in your stomach and letting it grow."

He had noticed another man in the forest but tried not to distract Misora or himself with him. He just hoped she didn't notice him for fear of feeling shy or timid for some reason.

Misora nodded, "I'll try." she said, then started to sing without words. She noticed someone else in the park walking around, and sang louder. She began to have the feeling of heat in her, and kept it in. She started to sweat but she didn't let it go or stop singing. The strain was plain on her face now, but she kept it in. Her voice still hadn't cracked.

Nate himself focused, blocking out all life around them and focusing only on him and Misora.

It wasn't something he tried often but he was measuring the build of energy inside of her. The first thing he had to figure out was the source, whether the energy was coming from within her or whether she was drawing it from other things around her. That was why he was so close to her, so he could focus and feel the energy.

He felt no waves outside, but he was beginning to feel her grow surprisingly warm. The view he had shifted and turned until he finally found his answer. Though invisible her energy was undoubtedly internal, and that alone was making her glow. It wasn't as strong as he had predicated but she was still growing. "Alright, that's enough. You can stop." He told her, pulling his hand away from her stomach and carefully leaning her towards him in case she felt light-headed. "Good job. How'd it feel?"

Misora stopped singing, and the energy in her was washed away by the feeling of peace. She could feel the peace wash out of her and then into the things around her after making the heat go away, but then it was replaced with a feeling of emptiness in her. She took a deep breath, "It was hot, but after I stopped the feeling of peace washed through me again. Did you feel it?" She asked looking back up at Nate with a smile.

He had watched her as she exhaled and it was at that moment he felt almost as if he was lifted off his feet, but when he looked down he was still on the ground. It felt feathery, and for a moment he was out of space, looking into the distance before Misora brought him back.

"Huh..oh..y-yeah." He stammered, shifting his weight and taking a few steps back. "Now I want you to try that again, but after having that feeling in your stomach build I want you to sing."

Misora nodded and started to sing without words again. She felt the heat come again and let it build, but then after it had built as much as before let it out through her singing. The wave of peace flowed into her washing away the heat, and through her voice into the air around her. A few musical notes could be seen floating up into the air around her. She didn't stop singing, but the peace still flowed.

There it was again. That feeling that seemed to lift him into the air. Reminded him of the time of his adolescent years when he used to get high with his friends. The weariness and fatigue that he had felt before was returning and he almost felt like sleeping as he watched the notes flow fluently out of Misora's mouth. So that's what she was talking about.. Nate thought to himself as he continued to watch. Anymore and this feeling would put him to sleep..

"Alright, Misora. You could stop now." She was able to sing and produce notes in the same time. That was only the first step of his lessons.

He knelt behind her again. "So, Misora..what are the trees saying now? Are they hearing you?"

Misora stopped singing and a final breeze of peace swept through her and around her. There was no emptiness this time. She nodded, "Yes, I can hear them, and they heard me. They said that they liked my singing, and it was like the stories they'd been told by trees in real forests on the wind. They said trees in the forest often felt the peace they did with my singing." she said happily smiling.

Nate returned the smile in kind, looking at the trees about. If only he could hear what they were saying with his own ears. That would be magnificent, but out of his human senses. Only those who were throughly linked with nature could have such a thing. Even animals, though there were so many a breed.

Nate finally rose to his feet and rubbed at his eyes, feeling them grow heavy. Guess the days without rest were now pulling him down. If he felt that wave of harmony again he would not be able to stay awake. "Next time we'll have you play for them with your violin, but it's time for me to take you home. I know it's a little early, but you need sleep." Rather, he's the one who needed sleep. Even if it was a few hours; he would have to force himself to wake up by the morning to make it to the university. "Are you ready?"

Misora nodded, "I'm ready. I'll sing for the presentation tomorrow, building up my energy like you taught me. You look tired though. Are you sure I'm the one that needs sleep and not you?" She asked smiling.

My train of thought had been cut short when I noticed a guy and a young girl in the corner of my eye. The girl was singing beautifully I had thought and almost lost my senses listening to her.
"Well... that was a nice little show. But I should head for the Streets now I guess." I said as I kept walking past them. "Now where was that lift..."
