 Millennia ago, there was a great struggle. One man who had extraordinary powers had tried to conquer the world. Six people with the power to control the elements rose up to stop him. There was Colm, who could manipulate fire; Seth, whose mastery of wind was unrivaled; Mina, whose skill with water surpassed all; Reine, who could control the earth with ease; Sophie, whose control over lightning was one to be feared; and Nero, who controlled the shadows. And then there was Shin, who could control all the elements and wanted to use that power to conquer the planet. The six heroes and Shin fought each other, the heroes trying to stop Shin and Shin trying to remove the obstacle from his path. However, their final battle resulted in the deaths of both sides. In the end, there was no clear victor. Eventually, these events faded to myth, and then were forgotten. The few who know of these facts now hide them away, for no one would believe them.
The year 2010, New York City. New York is a bustling city, the highest populated city in the United States. It is the host of the United Nations Headquarters, thus being an important center for international affairs. It is home to the Statue of Liberty, a gift from the French after their help in the American Revolution. It is the location of Times Square. It was also the location of the World Trade Center prior to the tragic attacks on September 11, 2001.
Six teens who call NYC home are soon to have their lives turned upside down. These teens are the reincarnations of the six heroes, even if they do not know it yet. Shin has been reincarnated into a twenty-seven year old man and is once again threatening the world. The reincarnations must now fight again and finish their ancient battle once and for all.

Rules 1. Romance is allowed and encouraged, but no cybering. It's disgusting and I don't want to read it.
2. I am the goddess of this RP, so what I say goes.
3. No god moding.
4. No killing without permission from the person you are killing and then I'll want proof of agreement. If you are killed without permission, pm me and I will kick the killer out and bring you back to life. So I'm warning you, don't kill without permission or you will get kicked out.
5. One character per person. I am only accepting the seven main characters, and I don't want half of them being playing by the same person.
6. Try to answer often. I understand schedule difficulties as I am a high school student myself. Just please notify me if you will be gone for a while.
7. PM profiles to me. Make sure to have a mrgreen at the end of your PM.
8. I have the right to add or change rules as I see fit, so check back often.

The Heroes(and Shin) This post is here to describe the ancient heroes and show what they look like. You may use these as references while making characters, but it is not required that you make the reincarnation like the original. For example, Colm is very short tempered, but his reincarnation may have the best temper in the world. The only requirements are that they must be the same gender and have the same element. Colm was a rather young man, even for that time. He was only around 15 years of age. His had a short temper, making fire the perfect element for him. However, despite that, he was extremely loyal to his friends and companions. Seth was around the age of 16 when the final battle with Shin caused his death. He was a calm and relaxed young man. He always offered his opinion for everything. He trusted his companions with his life, and his companions trusted him with theirs. Mina was 14 during the fighting with Shin. She was calm, cool, and collected, like water. She was the weakest of the group, and thus the most dependent on the others. However, that did not stop her from trying. She was very determined to become stronger, yet did not achieve that goal before her death. Reine was 12 when she was killed in the fight with Shin, the youngest of the group. Yet she was the most stubborn. She stood her ground like a mountain. She was also very independent, but recognized that she could not have defeated Shin alone and worked with the others. Sophie was 13 years old at her death. She was very impulsive and, like Colm, short tempered. Her temper got her into countless situations she needed help out of. Right up to the end, she was constantly causing trouble. But that was just one of the things the group liked about her: you were never bored with her around. Nero was the oldest of the group, at 17 years old. He was the most mysterious of the group, never opening up to anyone. It was only after a few weeks of traveling together that he started opening up to the others, and even then he refused to talk about his past. His past remained a secret even after his death. Shin was about 22 when he fought with the six heroes. He was very ambitious and determined. No one knows his motives for trying to destroy the world. There are some rumors going around that even he didn't know. But, of course, they are just false rumors.

Accepted Profiles Heroes' Reincarnations My name is Caleb Neil.
I am 17 years old.
I am male.
People say I am calm, cool, and collected. I tend to be a little more on the quiet side, but I can be quite loud if I want to be heard. It takes quite a bit to upset me, but, once you make me angry, you had better be prepared to get hurt.
I am the reincarnation of Seth so my element is wind.
My life has been like this: Caleb had always lived the life of a normal, middle class child. He went to public school, made friends, got good grades, went to the movies on Fridays, stayed at friends' houses on Saturdays. It was by complete accident that he found out about his powers. It was when he was about five or six years old. This older kid was picking on his friend. They kept asking for him to stop, but the kid just kept ignoring them. Caleb got frustrated and, suddenly, the air pressure around the kid changed, making it hard from him to breathe. Caleb soon realized that he was causing it and forced the air pressure to return to normal. The kid ran away and never picked on them again. Caleb's parents soon figured out what had happened and realized why it did. They made Caleb learn to control his power and forbade him from using it in public, fearing that his life would be in danger.

My life has been like this: Kyo grew up with his father since his mother died giving birth to him. His father blamed Kyo for her death and beat him regularly for most of his life. Kyo was ten years old when he discovered his power for the first time, he was amazed at what he could do. He practiced a lot in his room when his father was out drinking, which was a lot. One day when Kyo was fourteen his father walked in on him practicing, the man was so drunk though he mistaked it for something else. What ever it was it made him angry, he beat Kyo so bad he got memory loss. When Kyo woke up he knew only two things he has power over shadows and that his father hated him. While Kyo was in the hospital his father had ran away and taken his name off of Kyo's birth certificate. So Kyo ended up in foster homes till he was seventeen when he began to rent an condo. He lives with his gay room mate Tanner and Tanner's best friend Lizzy and works for a large company that specializes in machinery. He only works on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays though. The other days he works part time at the local high school as the art teacher. The foster home drama introduced Kyo to smoking, which he hates, but is addicted to..
