((As if we could beat you!! You just have to promise to play nice, love!! biggrin ))
Aiko entered the dojo, thrilled and partially scared. She knew she wasn't much of a fighter and knew this was a battle to the death, but still she accepted the challenge. Her shadow danced around her feet, ever ready to take on its first form. Well, I hope I am ready for this. She sighed and waited for her partner to show, mentally preparing herself for what was to come....

Teishoku stepped on the Dojo mat and breathed a sigh. He didn't know much about the situation. He was just told that his services were needed for training. If what the letter he got said, was true, he was supposed to be determining whether or not two perfect strangers could learn team work in battle should the need ever arise.
eh, i'm not sure i like being included in this little experiment, but hell, i wasn't doing anything. Bring it on. Teishoku did some warm up stretches, checked to make sure his bracer was on tight, and did a couple of jumping jacks. He looked around, his gaze stopping at a cute, although oddly pale girl and her remarkably dark cat. She must be here to watch H thought as he continued to look around for his opponents.

Fuse had been extra pumped as he approached the entrance of the dojo. He had heard about this kuroteisi guy and he wanted to fight him bad. Fuse had saw a problem in where they were. He knew that is he unleashed his full potential, no one would make it out of this place alive. He thought of this for a second, then shrugged it off and jogged to where his partner was. As he walked out onto the mat, he coated his entire body with with flames. He was beautiful to see, but if you were to touch him you would pay the price. Hey Aiko, wassup. You ready to smash on this kid? Don't be fearful, just because you're his slave doesn't mean anything.

Teishoku's eyebrows raised. A fire demon? This could actually be fun. Teishoku grew up playing with fire. It was where he was most comfortable. He'd have no probably dealing with the demon boy. His eyebrows raised because the boy had addressed the girl he'd been checking out. I gotta fight her? Whats she do?. He pondered to himself.
Kid? Don't insult me with flames as pathetic as those. You're a disgrace to your kind. I have to assume you're new to fighting simply by the brightness of the flames. tsk. I've seen bigger camp fires.Teishoku wasn't a rude person. But he was a master of his craft. He didn't appreciate the demeaning way the boy had called him 'kid'. Sorry, but i gotta fight you guys. I'll try to make this quick. Teishoku winked at the girl before staring at the flaming demon, unimpressed.

Aiko looked at the guy who had called out her name. Ahh... So this one is Fuse. Ok! She reached to shake his hand, but quickly pulled back. "Wow. Nice show." Her shadow instantly ran to the guy on fire. It jumped and phased right through him. Her shadow then returned to her side, a mirror image of her partner in black.
"Sorry if that startled you. Just protocol. Don't want my shadow accidentally knocking you out." She gave him a meaningful smile, then turned to there opponent. She flashed him her fangs, somewhat hurt that he only regarded the boy as an enemy. "You wanna hit him first? I' quite patient with fights."

Fuse knew that remark would anger Beggar and get him rowdy. He had felt good that he could get to the man easily. Fuse already planned his first move when he was walking out onto the mat. He took one of his gasoline canisters, pried it open, and threw it high into the air so that when it came down it would splash all over the floor. He then took the his second gas can and poured it all over himself to enhance his fire tremendously. Now, all you could make out of him was his figure and the ten foot high flames covering him.

((10 feet high? thats a bit of a stretch for someone with 23 magic. but I'll let it slide 'this' time. beware of god-modding))
Teishoku stared cooly at the fire demon as he erupted in flames. oooh, fire. scary. He calmly walked over to what was obviously a vampire girl, making sure to jump over the gasoline spills on the floor. He knelt at her feet and kissed two of his fingers. He then stood up and blew the kiss to her. Again, I can't apologize enough for this. It wasn't my idea. Teishoku strode over to stand in between them. He whipped out a needle from his bracer and deftly poked his shoulder, drawing a single drop of blood out onto his needle. He fed this blood to his thumb, for in it lied his nature rune.
The rune drank the blood up greedily quickly using it to transform his hand. First his fingers were covered in a tan coloring. It made his skin stretch and tighten slightly. Then his skin darkened to the color of the darkest bark. It thickened with the dark substance, making his fingers reminiscent of a bunch of small tree branches. He flexed his fingers and smiled. Neither of you are going to be ok by the end of this match He said, with a hint of sadness. He charged at the fire demon.

What the hell?! Aiko couldn't believe it! Was this guy really flirting in the middle of a battle? And he still refuses to accknowledge me as an opponent!!! Why attack him first? It was ok, though. She would show them.
Fede, please help me. She ordered her shadow after the beggar. It went and chased after him trying to force him to charge away from her fire friend by pushing him. She stood still, waiting.

Teishoku slowed his charged as he noticed the being trying to push him. what the hell? He wondered, doing a cartwheel away from the shadow creature. Teishoku was used to odd things happening, he was learning to take it in stride, but he refused to deal with a shadow if he didn't have to. He looked back at the girl controlling the shadow. He stopped his charge and turned around to look at her fully. oh, why not. He decided, running back towards her.
Teishoku took long strides and hopped over gasoline spills with ease in his effort to get to her. Whats this mat made of anyway? rubber? foam? He wondered, trying to come up with multiple plans at once. It wasn't his forte, but he was gonna have to deal in this case. He made it the last few feet to the vampire girl and did a soccer tackle, similar to a baseball slide. He slide right up to her, trying to trip her up.

Fuse put some of the gasoline from his last bottle in his mouth. He sparked the ground and fire shot up from all of the gas puddles. It shot up quick enough to blind a man. Now there was fire spots all over the floor. He slid the rest of the bottle towards where the girl's feet. He anticipated that the beggar's sliding path would intersect with the canister. He shot a fire ball after the can hoping that the girl would move out of the way and make her shadow grab the beggar so he couldn't move out of the way. He manipulated a little fire into a whip and readied it for his next attack.

Teishoku grunted. He didn't like getting hot, and there was fire every where. The fire that erupted from the demon's gas spills dam near blinded the beggar. All he could see was the bright white of the flames. He had always been taught never to attack if you didn't know what you were hitting. heh, there's always a silver lining. Bright fire every where.......no shadow. He snickered as he dug his right hand deep into the mat and instantly halted his tackle. He used his powerful fingers as well has his arms and legs to push off the ground, into a backflip.
His backflip was only half successful however, because seconds into it, an explosion rocked his whole body. He was flung backwards, across the mat and landed in a heap, surrounded by flames. And explosion?? And it was right next to that vampire girl, i hope she didn't get hurt... he thought to himself as he blinked away some of the blindness. He picked himself up and brushed the embers off his clothes. He achieved his drunken fighting stance, but he didn't charge, because that clearly wasn't working very well. Instead he stood perfectly still and waited for someone else to make a move

WHAT THE HELL!! Does he not want a partner? Aiko was on her knees panting a few feet away from where the explosion took place. Her idiot partner had decided to throw a live granade exactly where she stood. She was lucky enough to use her vampiric speed to get out of the way in time. Was hoping to use this when I actually had a plan, but oh well.
Aiko searched all around her for her shadow. She even whistled a bit. When there was no answer, she started to cry. "What the hell is wrong with you! You blew up my shadow! And now it's too bright to manipulate another one!" Aiko wiped at her eyes, embarrassed that she was crying during a fight. She couldn't help it. Her shadow was important to her.
Aiko stood up, still wiping her eyes, and faced her opponent. "Now I have no choice but to physically fight you. And since I'm vampire, there is no chance of you catching me." She charged at the beggar, weaving from side to side, hoping she was fast enough to confuse him. She barred her fangs and lunged at him.

Fuse felt kind of bad that his actions had cost his ally her ally. He knew she had some kind of a bond between them. He saw that she was zig zagging to make a physical attack. Fuse manipulated the fire on the floor around the beggar and the vampire to form a bubble of fire in which they were trapped in. It had enough room in it to move comfortably but u had to be careful not to touch barrier. He anticipated the vampire fighting the beggar up close, and with her speed, she should have had no problem dodging the beggar's attacks. Plus, he knew while they were in his bubble, he could control the playing field. No amount of fire dancing would help the beggar now because he had no where to run away. Fuse had made sure he cleared the fire from the floor around them so the vamp would have an easier time maneuvering. Pretty much, the only way to leave the bubble would be if i made an opening for them, or if one of them were brave enough to jump into the fire and out the other side. I don't think it would be wise to try jumping through the closed fire. But having your clothes catch fire, and being burned cooked, never hurt anyone.
