What was it like to be a queen or king, royalty were rules and regulations seemed to dwell in its own little cult. where people had to be prim and proper and issue out as well as give orders to sustain the balance in the world and their kingdoms.
Yes, this was the path of the royals, but royalty is not all that dwells in the kingdoms, for creatures of every and any aspect hide and reside in the hills, mountains, plains and villages throughout the land. Many are humans, others are dwarves, elves, beasts, halfbreeds, ect..
And with these other beings comes calamity and termoil. Wars have gone on between regions and people. Attacks are always on the loose from rebeling groups and missleading plans that aren't so missleading. Yes, yes, this is a land of changes and re-occurances, but also of possibilities and chance, weather you find them or they find you...

Goals/Rules of the RP:
This is a fantasy and kingdom RP which means you can pretty much be anything you want to be. You can set up places such as taverns, Inn's, anything you want. If you want to be a giant, then so be it, this is fantasy after all. If you want to be a knight in the castles somewhere, protecting a princess, then be one. If you want to be a princess, it's on a first come first serve basis and it depends on the number of kingdoms as well.
Rules:
1. No god moding/power playing. 2. Romance and fighting are encouraged, though don't be too dirty with it, the romance that is. 3. Follow the rules, though there aren't many. 4. If you want to be a villian, make sure you have others (whether characters or people) in your kingdom to actually start/carry out a fight. 5. I would like this to be a long term/semi-literate RP 6. Title your PM's To Be of Royalty
If you want to create your own kingom, please run it by me first.

Kingdoms:
Narnith is the kingdom with the least amount of restriction. It is built with villages and towns alike, as well as ruins from the old fotresses of the past. a river that runs through all kingdoms is the main source of power and erigation and food a like. The land is green and made up of hills and plains. Everyone is allowed to enter the capital city of Fuler and the royal family is the kindest that Narnith has seen in a long time. The only heir to the throne is their only child, Elly, a girl of many wishes and desires who is forced to marry sometime in the future to another kingdom to keep the peace amoung nations.
Hount is the neighboring kingdom of Narnith and has a good relationship with them. There has recently been appointed a new king after the old one had passed and his son took the throne along with the new queen who was a clerks daughter. This kingdom is known for its rich soils for farming and trade with farmed goods as well as the blacksmiths and tailers alike. Schools for magic and dealing with people and the ways of others are taught here, the towns and villages being able to hide in the mountains. This is also the kingom where knights are trained for both Hount and Narnith.
Paulb is the kingdom with the capital farthest from the other capitals. It is a colder country, the mountains making up for most of the land and for all of the snow that it shadows over. But not all of it seems to be mysterious. Many of the nicest people come from these places, seeking to visit Narnith and Hount on holidays and for news on other things.
Gorc is a very mysterious place, even though it does not have any mountains to hide behind. However, it does have the widest range of forrest in all of the regions and it is so thick and mysterious itself that no one dare go in there. This is were the elves hide out and where others hide when war breaks loose, though some do not return. Gorc is also known for its magic users who travel near and far for training and to serve the castles in the kingdoms.

As her father, the king, was a generous and kind man, she too was brought up as such. Now that she was of age, she is to marry to someone from another country, though she is not sure of who and it is perfered that she marry to another royal, perhaps a clerk or a prince. But Elly has dreams of her own, to battle in wars and explore her land as well as neighboring lands. She want to know her people, yet with the rumors and threats from other rebeling villages and regions around the four kingdoms, she is not allowed out. What will become of Elly? Will she let her kingdom fall in the end or will she be great, maybe even greater than her own father? Weapon: Her royal heritage, maybe a sword in combat. Good/evil: Good King Robert Silvermyst Gaia Name: King Robert Silvermyst Character Name: Robert Haschen Age: 18 Orientation: Straight Kingdom: Paulb Race: Human Abilities: Ultrasonic Aura: Activates when near Screapers (monsters that are normally invulnerable to physical and magical attacks). Weakens Screapers and leaves them vulnerable to all forms of attack when he is close-by Magic: Can cast any wizard spell lv.0 - 4(D&D 3.5) Weapon Finesse: Dual-bladed Lances: can expertly wield these very dangerous and deadly weapons. Without proficiency in this, one would constantly hurt themselves. Acrobatics: Very acrobatic, can run up/along walls for short bursts, jump from wall to wall, etc. Rank: Youngest Prince of Paulb, Bishop-Class Screaper Slayer Bio: Robert was born the youngest to the two children to the Paulb royal family. However, Robert never cared much for politics. Every night he would sneak out of the castle to play with some of the commoner's children. As he got older, he fell in love with one such girl. However, once his father caught wind of his nightly escapes and his common-born lover, his windows were barred. He then informed Robert that he was going to be put into an arranged marriage. Robert continued to find ways around the enhanced security due to the special training he secretly received with the local rogue guild. Fed up with his father's self-centered desires, Robert ran away with the beast girl Lilly. However, the king's men found him and a fight ensued. During the battle, Lilly was slain by an archer's arrow. Robert managed to escape and fled the lands of Paulb, unaware that several months later, his father became bed-ridden with a mysterious disease. Weapon: Bizen (pair of dual-bladed lances) Good/evil: Good ShadowLadyRaven Appearance: Gaia Name: ShadowLadyRaven Character Name: Mayu Makita Age: 19 Orientation: Bi Kingdom: Hount Race: Shape Shifter (Kitsune or Vixen) Abilities: She changes into a half-form and full fox form. Due to changing into a fox, she has a heightened sense of smell and hearing in her human form. These increase the closer she becomes a fox. In her half form, she gains claws and her teeth are sharper. Rank: Sake Seller/Brewer Bio: Adopted by a common family, Mayu grew up in a house out in the fields of Hount. She was found by the family as a girl of about 8 in their garden stealing some of their food. Rather than reporting her and getting her arrested, they took her in. They already had a son and so they didn't think it much more trouble to feed one more mouth. They were shocked to find that she was a shape-shifter since they were humans themselves. Though, their son could control the earth. Her clothes were odd to them, and they found a note within her robes with her name. They let her keep it, and at one point asked her about her life before. She told them she couldn't remember. Yet she knew how to fight which confused the family and her.
As the years passed, her parents died from an illness and her brother went off to be a knight in the service of Narnith. Left on her own again, the farm had gone to their son but since he was away, she took care of it and instead split the lands between their neighbors. She was drawn to the city and so traveled there with what little possessions she had. She found some people there that had clothes like her own, managing to get hired as help. They were nice people, each having their own unique ability. Now she is one of the best brewers in the shop and is often found running around town with her wares to help promote the shop. Weapon: Human - A yari spear, however it also has two blades extending horizontally besides the main blade. Thus they form a sort of "T" shape. (If you've seen Samurai Champloo, the blind womans weapon is basically what I'm talking about. ) She also has some kunai just to be safe. Half-Form - Claws, teeth, and mayhaps her spear. She may use her kunai as well. Fox - Claws and Teeth. Good/evil: Good. Appearance: Gaia Name: ShadowLadyRaven Character Name: Raven Nome Age: 22 Orientation: Straight Kingdom: Narnith Race: Human/Water Elemental Abilities: If there is water around, she can use it in whatever way she wishes. Mostly she uses it to fight, sometimes even stretching to bend blood, but on occasion she has used it for other things. Rank: Mercenary. Though she was permitted leave, she remains a Knight. Bio: Descended from a family who had served as Knights for Narnith, normally it was customary for the man to go off and join their ranks after completely their training. Instead, it was Raven. She grew up more serious than her brother, appearing rather ruthless and harsh when in reality it was just because she took her responsibility of upholding the family name very seriously. She was educated which was more than a lot of other girls could say, and her father taught her how to fight for the most part. She still went to Hount to their training academy and surprised most that were there because they were expecting a boy to be coming from the house of Nome. When she first walked in, one of the older students teased her, telling her that the mage's school was elsewhere and she proceeded to easily knock him to the ground. From then on she had to earn respect and she did. Quickly. She soon was amongst one of their most talented students and ended up leaving earlier than most. She was 18 at the time. In her free time, she learned to control her abilities from books she borrowed from the magician's school since she was already there.
While she served in the army, she moved up in the ranks and soon controlled her own platoon. She was sent off to one of the more distant regions that was in territory they weren't as familiar with, ordered to explore and possibly establish relations if other creatures were found. In this case, they found something, but it wasn't pleasant. She came back after the year she spent there, now 20. Instead of having her platoon of men, it was only her and five others. She appeared different to her family and was soon allowed to take some time away. She doesn't talk about what happened and now travels around as a mercenary so she doesn't stagnate at home. Weapon: The sword in her picture, three hidden daggers of varying lengths, and her abilities. If she for some reason loses her weapons upon the battle field, she is able to fight with anything she finds. Good/evil: More good than bad. Appearance: Gaia Name: ShadowLadyRaven Character Name: Alden Nome Age: 20 Orientation: Straight Kingdom: Narnith Race: Human/Water Elemental Abilities: While his sister uses her water controlling abilities to fight, he uses it for more frivolous things. It came in quite handy while he worked at the bar. He also knows how to use it to fight, but he'd rather not. Rank: Mercenary. Former bartender. Bio: Descended from a family who served as Knights for Narnith, Alden ultimately disappointed his family when it came time for him to start learning the way of the sword. He personally didn't approve of fighting much and was more prone to be found reading or off and about in the city with other children when he was younger. He was seen as soft and weak by his father though his mother instead encouraged him to pursue his magical abilities. She was what kept him gentle and not bitter towards his family. He was also educated, though it wasn't hard to get him to want to read a good book. He followed after his sister, but instead went to the school for magic and showed how adept he was at it already. He ended up dabbling in their apothecary section and soon could make his own remedies and poisons. With a couple of friends he made, he learned how to be like some of the rogues they knew that traveled through town to get to his home of Narnith. He came back earlier than his sister since it wasn't like he had to become a knight. His father had already given up on that endeavor.
When his sister went off to serve, Alden went to work for a friend of his at their bar becoming their best bartender who had a knack of creating new drinks. Now that he had more purpose, he was happier now, making up for his short comings in continuing the family tradition. He ended up becoming a mercenary before his sister, usually taking jobs that required his expertise in poison and such arts when he wasn't working at the tavern. After his sister came back, he was concerned to see her so changed, and so offered to have her join him in being a mercenary. With that, he saw a flame return to her eyes and she soon was dragging him off and about with her across the kingdom. Sometimes he regrets opening his mouth, but he's just glad to see her happier. Weapon: A beautifully engraved rapier, throwing knives, his abilities, and poison. Good/evil: More good than bad. King Robert Silvermyst Appearance: Gaia Name: King Robert Silvermyst Character Name: Eric Haschen Age: 30 Orientation: Straight Kingdom: Paulb Race: Human/Vampire Abilities: Superior Strength: Physical power is greater than normal men. Regeneration: When injured, his body can heal the damage so long as he has enough blood power to do so Access to vampiric magics Weakness to sunlight, fire and holy water Immortality: Can live forever if left to his own devices. However he can be killed by decapitation, ruptured heart or incineration. He can be revived through a blood ritual sacrifice as long as his remains are not incinerated. Rank: Self-proclaimed King Bio: Eric was born the eldest of the two brothers.Growing up, he was raised to be a man of good measure and stature, a true role model to the people and a shining example of a good future leader. Eric was fond of the royal life, and eventually found a maiden to marry. But it would be this marriage which turned his life around for the worst. His wife was a seductress of a noble. But more than that, she was a crimson noble. She kept her identity hidden while she began poisoning Eric's reason with lust and dreams of power. She began to blur the lines of right and wrong until he could no longer tell which was which. Then she let him in on her secret and turned him into a crimson noble. With his new-found power and the absence of his younger brother due to his father's pompous act of trying to force Robert into an arranged marriage, Eric was able to poison his father, keeping him alive and feeding the old man lies about Robert, pinning the poisoning on the young prince. However, the king would not believe it as Robert fled long before this, and so Eric put the king into a coma and began to seep his lies to the people. A great many rallied behind the new king, while those who knew Robert, including the Guild of Rogues, went into hiding and began to plot against Eric. Eric currently rules Pualb, and ever since, there have been reports of mysterious deaths, all caused by the complete loss of blood. Eric has set his sights on conquest and has set his first target to be the nation his brother has fled to: Narnith. Weapon: Demonic rapier called 'Bloodletter' Good/evil: Evil Scythe de Zaran Appearance: Gaia Name: Scythe de Zaran Character Name: Where (Real name: Armand Orion Parr) Age: Appears to be 15, but Where is just one of his appearances to fool others. If you identify him as Armand and prove it, he will probably take his older form. He’s actually much older. Orientation: Straight Kingdom: Gorc Race: Demon (He has dark wings, but he is always in human form.) Abilities: His skill is mostly in magic, and not so much in weaponry. While he can hold his own with a sword and knows how to use a scythe, he isn’t actually very skilled with them. His magic is weaker on the healing side and stronger on the attack and support side. He’s best with shadow and fire type. As Where, he won’t display any high level magic such as massive destructive spells or teleporting. There is a difficult spell that can be used by others to summon him, but depending on the person’s will and or power, Armand can ignore it. Rank: Where is guised as a travelling student magician. Armand is a full fledged master mage. Bio: Armand is the Devil Mage. The term “devil” can be interpreted in a multitude of ways on how it might fit him not limited to his sense of humor and his abilities. The Devil Mage is somewhat of a legend, a red haired mage who is rumored to be so powerful that he can grant any wish for a price. Though legends and rumors might exaggerate feats, one would have to really see for themselves how much is true. Clearly, no one can do everything, and some things that sound impossible could very well be impossible. However, since the legend exists, there are people looking for him although they don’t know what he looks like. Armand has chosen to take on the current identity and appearance as Where, a travelling student. Prior to gaining the so called reputation, Armand had delved into magical studies, not letting forbidden magic stop him despite the warnings of his former teacher, and exceeded his former teacher, the same one who raised him. Armand has always had a way with pushing people’s buttons whether it be through words or pranks, and even his teacher wasn’t immune. When his teacher died, he carried on with his magic studies traveling about the world. It was really his teacher’s fault that such a summon existed and was stolen. Because Armand hadn’t been the perfect obedient student and often ran off on chaos, his teacher had created summon spell specifically to drag him back. Every time the summon spell stopped working due to an increase in Armand’s magic abilities, the teacher would modify and strength the spell. The spell soon stepped into rather dangerous bounds, and the teacher finally stopped the first time he crossed into forbidden magic, leaving it up to Armand whether the student would answer the summon or not since it could no longer be binding. When the teacher died, everything passed on to Armand, and he assumed that the summon would never ever be used. However, it was used, and he responded out of curiosity and found a room full of dead people save for one who was dying. It looked ridiculous. The people in the room looked as if there were fighting over something and all killed each other trying to get whatever it was. He suspected that they didn't even know what the summon was for, but he humored the last man standing and offered to grant the man a last wish before he died, out of amusement. … he granted the wish Weapon: Magic. A sword. Good/evil: Neutral. Depends on who recruits or interests him more. --------------------- Appearance: Gaia Name: Scythe de Zaran Character Name: Remington (Remy) Soir Chevalier Geass Age: 18 Orientation: Straight. Kingdom: Hount Race: Elf Abilities: He is an expert with the katana and light weighted blades and can summon up magical shields to protect others or himself. Rank: Knight Bio: Remy comes from a family line of knights serving Hount. He was taught in the ways of the knight and joined the knights as soon as he was of age. Remy’s family is middle class, and while his father is an older knight, his mother embroiders on the side. Much to his own embarrassment, Remy can sew because his mother forced him to learn in case he needed to mend something from battle. Remy has a strong moral sense of justice and has a bad habit of being too curious and running off to defend someone he sees getting bullied or mistreated. He is probably one of the most likely people in the world to sacrifice himself for others for a good cause. Weapon: Long katana Good/evil: Good.

Robert Haschen Narnith Boarder
For almost a year Robert had been on the run from his own family. His father was trying to push him into an arranged marriage with an unknown royal, and went so far as to kill Robert's true love in order to prevent Robert from 'tainting the lines'.
It made no sense. His brother was already married and poised to take over the throne. What need would there be to have Robert marry royalty as well? Perhaps it was his father's ploy to unite the kingdoms under one banner? Still, he refused to allow himself to be used, and he wasn't going to forgive his father for Lilly's death.
Robert carried a locket of the vixen woman's fur around his neck and tucked into his shirt as a reminder of her. his Bizen was attached to his back in an X-like form so that he could run without worrying about puncturing his legs.
As Robert reached the Narnith boarder, he saw a small group of men, all in Pualb military garb. All of them drew their blades before one of the men stepped forward. "Forgive us my lord, but it seems the circumstances have changed in your absence." the man spoke before removing his helmet.
"I'm not going back to my father!" Robert spoke as he reached behind him to grab his Bizen. "I refuse to become his pawn just so he can take control of another country!"
"Not alive anyways. You see, your father is ill and your brother is now king. By the new king's orders, you are to be executed for treason." the man spoke before putting his helmet back on. "You should have never left. Now without anyone to oppose your brother, the people will suffer under his rule. Forgive us, but we must see this through or die trying. And Maker forgive you for turning your back on your people, even though you were unaware of any of this."
There was no time for allowing himself to feel shock or remorse. The soldiers charged towards him with spears and swords drawn. Robert charge forward in return, but then lunged off to the left, jumped off of one tree and into the higher branches of another, using the Bizen to slice any other branches that might impede his progress. Jumping from tree to tree, Robert dodged the thrown spears and launched arrows until he was safely in Narnith territory where the knights of Pualb could not legally follow.
Robert lept off of one tree and landed on a deserted farm in the Narnith town of Warslee. It seemed as though the farm had not been tended to for many years and seemingly had no owner. It was a good place to stay for a while, but now that he knew the situation, he knew he needed to get the help of the other countries before his brother decided to use war to conquer the other countries.

Ah, sunny days. They would always and forever cast the rays upon green, lush land and make even the deadest of grass shimmer with an unknown brilliance. the green grass in Narnith was definately one that many people thought was magic, due to the suns rays lightening up everything as though it were a picture in some palace. Fuler, the capital of Narnith, was known for its large maze at the Meairna Palace, the castle in which the King and his family resided.
At this very moment the king and queen were going over business at the dinning table waiting for their lunch that was being prepared by the chefs. Although the table was large and could fit well over two dozen people, only three settings were set and only two were pccupied."Gret, do tell me, where my daughter is this midday? How many knights have a sent out this time to go and search for her again?" the king asked in a rather irritated, though never cross, attitude, the queen meirly fixing her dressings while listening to them. "I am sorry your majesty, but it seems your daughter has found a new place to hide this time and until we understand where that is, we cannot add it to the list, sir," said Gret, the male butler and the kings number one servant told him in his proffesional voice, arms behind his back and a straight posture. "Mmm, yes well, when you do find that hiding spot of hers, don't make it known for she will surely find another. Though I do not know where else there is for her to hide unless she dug a tunnel for pete's sake!" the king belowed out in astonishment and curiousity, the queen giggling a bit and placing her hand on her husbands shoulder, the both of the smiling and sharing a kiss. Meanwhile in the mazes and gardens of Meairna castle, a young girl with a rather large dress was sitting on a bench in a section of the maze that was a deadend. Some of it was cast in shade, the other half in sunlight in which the dress was basking in it. Around the girl were little servant boys and girls ranging from all sorts of ages. Some were marveling at the girl's dress as it sparkled int he sunlight, while others were listening to a tale that she was telling. "...but the man did not show any fear at the dragon for surely it would show the dragon that he had a weakness and the dragon, being arrogant as he was, would have had the confidence to rip the knight to pieces. Instead of showing his weakness, Sir Galahand took up his sword to the mighty dragon, running as fast as he could towards him and clashed a battle that shook the country like an earthquake. The dragon spout out fire and flame, but Sir Galahand was skilled in shield conjuring and could protect himself from becoming charred. He then charged at the dragon with his powerfull shield and slain him, chopping off his head. The dragon, now no longer alive, fell to the ground, his massive body as unmoving as a rock. The whole country now knew of Sir Galahand's feats and was crowned the king of Narnith over 500 years ago. His rein has forever been that of a noble king who shared his story and loving nature with all his people. The end." as the girl was done with her story, the little servant children all made a fuss about how smooth the story was told and how they loved her stories."Princess Elly do tell us another one!" a little girl asked and then was followed by, 'oh yes please do, Elly!' or 'Your stories are the best!'. The princess laughed, but was interupted by trumpets going off in the distance. I am sorry little ones, but I am needed in the palace. Perhaps the next time I can sneak away I will tell you the tale about Peaches the giant... hmm?" she asked and their little faces lit up in a joyous frenzy. Elly giggled and stood up, her gown flowing just above the ground and it spread out way beyond her shoulder width. As she walked, her shoes reached paved blocks of stone that lead to marble stairs that entered the castle. The knights guarding the doors bowed and moved for the princess who was holding her skirts up as she climbed the stairs. The welcomed her back and she nodded at them, smiling more friendly than formally.
She reached the dinning hall and took her seat after bowing to both her mother and her father, none of them exchanging words. The servants brought out food and wine for themm all and they ate in peace until the end of the meal when the king asked Elly where she was."I was telling stories of the old times to the servant children. All they ever do is learn and then go off and hide in their quarters. I thought it was nice to tell them stories and give them a bit of fun, everyone deserves to have fun, right father?" she asked, and then sipped her wine, not looking over to see his reaction. It took a lot to upset the King of Narnith, and something small like this would only irritate him to the smallest extent."Mmm, yes, indeed children should be able to play and have fun whilest learning. But you on the other hand should be studying as well and acting more lady-like by joining your family for their meals instead of having us wait on you" he told her in a small reprimanding voice, only trying to keep her in line. "Your father is right. Soon you will be appointed to marry someone and no one will look at a young woman who runs off and does what she wants. Young men want order in these day and ages and look down upon free spirited women. In order to be a good bride, you must learn to recieve and achieve order, am I being clear?" the queen asked, looking at her daughter with a warning stare, meaning she meant bussiness. The queen was more strict than the king was, probably because Elly was the only heir to the throne as a woman and needed to have a man rule with her. Unfortunately Elly did not feel the same and thought that being married against her will to someone she did not know was the worst thing ever. This made her want to run away. "Yes mother I understand. Forgive my rudeness. I will go study with teacher now," Elly told her mother and father bowing lightly as she got up from the table and went in the direction of the ballroom.

Robert Haschen Warslee, Narnith
Robert explored the house of the abandoned farm. There was still furniture, but the dust, cobwebs and creaking floor made it apparent no one was currently living in there. It was a bit trite to use Bizen to get rid of the cobwebs, however he wanted to make it at least livable.
He knew he couldn't simply stroll around with two deadly dual-bladed lances and not draw attention to himself. Pulling up some of the weaker floorboards, Robert placed his Bizen beneath them and tossed the throw rug over it. He still had his magics to defend himself with and he was a pretty decent brawler should he need to defend himself.
After exiting the farmhouse and using the key he found to lock the place up, the renegade prince began to travel into town and began his trek towards the castle. He had also made sure to use cloth bandaging to conceal his left shoulder tattoo which identified him as Pualb royalty. He didn't need to draw any attention to him until he got to the castle, where he would need to show it in order to gain entry in order to prove his royal status.
The fact that the knights couldn't follow him into Narnith meant that his brother hasn't tried to contact the king, though Robert had his suspicions that Eric would use the fact that Robert was in Narnith as a reason to attack. If anything Robert believed his elder brother would set up a scenario to rile up the people while keeping Narnith in the dark until it was too late.
Robert had to get to the castle as fast as he could. Coming across a stable, he took out five gold coins to purchase a horse and began to ride towards the castle which lay off in the distance. Leaving the town behind him, he could only hope that he would get to the castle in time. Boarders and legalities may have stopped the knights, but he was sure his brother would probably hire someone within Narnith to deal with him.

"Best sake in the city! Hot or cold, we have both!" Mayu called as she walked down the street in her pink kimono, her golden eyes bright and shining. She was balancing a bar with two different tray like wooden containers on her shoulders, standing in one of the markets of Hount. One container held cold sake, the other hot. "Free samples! Come get your delicious sake! Only found here in Hount!" She walked around a little more, her voice clear like small bells ringing out amongst the chaos.
A couple of people came up and took some samples, making her eyes almost seem to sparkle. "Oh you can keep the cup, it tells you where we are. Thank you sirs!" She glanced to see how many cups were left in each, deciding she needed to head back to the sake house, the business seeming rather small compared to the places around it. But it was packed with people who wanted to eat as well. They served some food native to themselves, and others that weren't. She loved the eel and tempura rolls herself.
Walking in the side door from the alley way, she lowered the bar from her shoulders and sighed heavily. Looking up as she heard her name, they were asking how many she had given away. "I'm almost out, so I think we may see some more people. Do you want me to stay here and help out?" She called back, hearing a yes emerge amongst the bustle. She put her sales stand (if you wanted to call it that) away, putting on an apron and tying back the sleeves of her kimono, brushing her short hair from her eyes. She went to the back to check on the sake that they had brewing, helping out one girl who was emptying one into different containers. Some were for the store to sell, others were for them to serve. It was your typical busy day here in Hount for her.
Sometimes she wished she could travel elsewhere to see if she could spread their business, and other times she knew she couldn't give up leaving here. Other times she felt the tug of her curiosity about her past snip at the back of her mind, but usually she ended up ignoring it. No, for now, though she hadn't seen many other kitsune's like here, she would remain. Hell, it made her a novelty of sorts.
Picking up the bottles for the store, she placed them on a tray with some cups, glancing over the orders. Blinking, she took on the food as well with a laugh, conversing in a language she knew but didn't know how she knew. With that she went out to the tables and served, almost tempted to allow herself to go to her half form, but in the end decided not to. Save it for later in the day. It was almost surprising to see so many people here this early. But it made her happy as well.

"Oi sis... Can we for once get to take a break?" Alden called as he trailed behind his sister, a slight pout on his face. They had been traveling for quite a few days now and without much work at that. He realized the importance of continuing to move, but was it really necessary? I shouldn't have mentioned anything... He sighed, brushing his long dark hair from his deep blue eyes. Turning on her heel rather suddenly, Raven almost made her brother bump into her, narrowing her eyes as she looked at him. "We're almost there you whiner. Now stop complaining and wasting energy by doing so." She snapped back, her armor clinking as they made their way back towards the capital city, Fuler. As she turned back around to continue walking, she turned her head to look at him, her expression relaxing in the slightest. "We are going to be visiting home while we are there. I'm sure mother will be pleased to see we are well." She added in a softer voice, the wind buffeting her long black hair and her cape. She knew she should be a bit easier on him, but she could not help the fact that she still saw him as more of a weakling than a trusty arm. He was soft. Still, he was family and she should treat him as such. Despite her gruffness she did care for him, she just wished he'd toughen up.Frowning as she snapped at him, he sighed lightly and nodded, his back straightening more as he caught up and walked alongside her, stuffing his hands in his pockets. Whenever she softened up on him, it made him wonder about what had happened out wherever she had gone. Before she was always hard on him, but now she wasn't quite as much so. Shrugging his shoulders to stretch them out, he looked up to the sky, wondering how their family was doing. "Think father will be as stern as ever?" He asked her, glancing over as they reached one of the guard posts. She smirked as she thought of their father, nodding once. "Of course. If he wasn't I'd be concerned." She replied, taking care of their paper work and whatnot. It took all of a couple of minutes, the two soon proceeding closer to the city. It wouldn't take them too long to get inside, personally hoping they may run into another job before she'd have to face their parents. She felt like her extended leave somehow disappointed her father even though she knew he probably understood what she had gone through. It wasn't like she could really talk about the details with anyone, even if she wanted to.

Eric Haschen Vania Castle, Paulb
"So..." Eric looked over at the group of his father's knights. He expected them to either return with his younger brother's head or in body bags, yet here they stood, empty-handed. "...you decided not to cross over the boarder to pursue your quarry. While I am loathe to admit having armed knights entering the territory would put us in a rather nasty situation, it seems you have failed in your task." Eric spoke as he swirled a reddish liquid about in the crystal wine glass.
The captain of the guard was about to speak, but Eric simply raised his free hand, silently ordering him to keep silent. "Of course, I have prepared for this eventuality. After all, you are loyal to my dear father, not to me. Evidently your wives and children mean nothing to you. That is fine. I already took the liberty of changing them."
"You WHAT!?!" the head knight cried out as he and his small group of knights drew their blades. Eric simply snapped his fingers. Leaping out from the shadows were the very same women and children they sought to protect, all of them now vampires under Eric's control. They stood between Eric and the knights, each one armed.
"Can you bring yourselves to kill the ones you love?" Eric spoke before sipping the blood from his wine glass. The knights charged, but the group of vampires were fast, moving as though they were controlled puppets. The battle of the brave knights was over before it could truly begin as a large pool of blood stained the floor, along with the mens' corpses.
Soon after, a messenger came into the throne room, a shadow wraith. "So, what is the status of our brave little messenger boy?" Eric asked.
"He met with a most unfortunate accident. Stabbed to death it seems. And it seems the murder weapon was a blade of a Narnith knight who is also dead alongside the body with the boy's dagger in his stomache." The wraith bemusingly answered. Eric gave a grin to the reply.
"I see. And the letter of my warning about our traitorous little brother, the one responsible for poisoning father and trying to stage a war to take over Paulb?" Eric asked before sipping more of the red liquid from his glass.
"It seems the letter is still on the body. The body is a good day's ride away from Narnith. It seems the message will not reach the royal family in time." The wraith answered.
"Is that so? Well then, this puts us in a rather amusing circumstance. Since I've heard nothing in return from Narnith, and it seems as though one of Narnith's soldiers 'killed' our little errand boy, I can ONLY presume they are conspiring with my young brother and are 'knowingly' protecting him. And thus, it is my duty to show them what it means to anger the new king. And by the time they figure this whole charade out, our armies will already be wading through their blood." Eric spoke with a wicked grin upon his face.
"Shall I prepare the armies sire?" the wraith asked. Eric simply shook his head.
"No, not yet. After all, it will take some time for this conclusion of mine to be reached. So, let's preoccupy the kingdom with some local problems, like....oh I don't know....the dead rising from the graves. Send some liches over there to stir up some trouble. I'll set a special one aside with some 'evidence' that they are in league with my 'evil' brother." Eric replied before handing the empty glass his his wife Alania.
"As you wish, your majesty." the wraith spoke before vanishing into the shadows.
"And now our little game of chess begins." Eric mused lightly.

After a short while, the pair soon walked past the gates into their home city, both unconsciously looking up and around to see if it had changed any since the last time they had been there. Raven sighed heavily, no. Nothing had changed. At least, not visibly. It seemed busier than before, though it wasn't like she was often caught wandering in the streets. She noticed some of the guards seemed a bit more laid back than before, narrowing her eyes at the sight. What, are they slacking in their choices of recruits? If I were- "Lieutenant Raven Nome?"This made her pause and glance to her brother, looking at the five knights in front of her. They stood to attention, and she did not like the air coming from them. "Yes, that is me. What do you want?" She asked softly, her hand coming to rest on the hilt of her sword out of habit. She did not care if her tone was harsh, that was how she was. Especially if she saw five well-armed fighters in front of her without much of an explanation. The man who spoke glanced to her brother, noticing he did not seem to hold any desire to oppose them. "Would you please come with us? The Commander would like to speak with you."Now what in the world would he want with her? Glancing to the troop again, her lips tightened, nodding once. "Very well. Alden," She turned to look at her brother, placing a hand on his shoulder. "If you want to run any errand before going home, go ahead. Otherwise, let mother and father know I should be back soon." She told him softly, her hand slipping away from him, waiting till she saw him nod before turning to leave with the group. Alden had been debating checking on the tavern when the group of soldiers came up to them and spoke so seriously with his sister. He was both confused and concerned, standing a little straighter as his sister placed her hand on his shoulder. It was an unexpected sign of affection. He nodded, "I will. See you at dinner." He said softly, watching her leave with the five men. They stood around her with the one in the center with her, grimacing at the sight. Almost looked like she was getting taken away for interrogation or prison or something. But they said commander so she should be fine... right? Sighing, he shook his head and made his way home. If they were going to get to spend some time here, he could visit the tavern later to check on them.

But of course, going with teacher was a lie and so Elly proceeded into the ballroom and up the stairs on the side of the castle to the top most tower and into a small room that was only openable with a key that the princess had stached in the front of her dress. The room was rather small, big enough only for a servants quarters or to keep someone in as seceracy. The princess however, knew this tower well and kept certain things in this room, one thing being a suit of armor. She moved it to the side and got out a map of the country and a book of spells, something she couldn't really use due to her power being of light and such. Meanwhile back in the dinning area.... "Sir, there is some order of business to attend to at the table today, as requested by yourself. A quadrant of knights have been appointed to the southern boarder of Narnith and one has come back with severe mental problems and when asked what happened, no one could say. The knight himself seems to have gone mad with voices in his head, though we do not know what to do. On another order of business, it seems as the younger prince of Paulb has gone missing after the kings death and was said to have been spoted on Narnith territory. What do you suppose we do, sire?" the servant/butler reported, waiting patiently for his kings orders. The king thought a while about this, the thoughts of other countries and their royal families and how they did things would flow over in his mind while it judged his answer. "Do not have him killed if found out in this country until we know for a fact that he is suspected and guilty of his own fathers death. I see that there is a new king there now, no? Young King Eric to be exact from what I hear and just as powerful, if not more so than his father... yes, if the Paulb boy is found, do have him sent to me at once. I shall know his true actions when he is here" he told his butler who bowed and ran off to give the information to the generals. No one really knew what the kings abilities were, but then again, if they did know, he wouldn't have the advantage on other countries now would her? As the princess finalized what she was reading and doing, she got up and undressed herself, her dress plopping down and kicking up some dust as she threw it at the wall. She then dressed in some underclothing and finally put on the armor. She looked the same as before, but suited and ready for battle. She then put on the finishing touch, a dirty blonde wig that made her look very different than before. If the king and queen were to know of her actions, she would surely be punished by them. Elly though that should would have fun while doing this so if she did happen to get caught then oh well.
She descended the side stairs and went to the back of the castle where the knights gathered to plan, talk and move out. The stables with horses were also back here for the knights. Elly came up to a white horse who's name was Token and she cooed and pet his nose while feeding him a carrot. "Hey Jex! I know where else you could put that carrot!" a deep voice called over to Elly, a group of guys hooting and laughing at the joke. Elly, Jex, came over with another carrot and wagged it in the mans face, "I know somewhere else I could stick this!" she told him and puched him over and shoved it at his butt. The man yelled out for her not too, the other men laughing still yet at the girls deed.
Many of the knights knew of this Lex girls strength and determination, but everything about here was a mystery, at least to them anyways. There were no knights who knew of her lineage and most didn't have one to begin with, so no one ever asked questions. Lex just went on to doing what she did best, and that was fighting with a sword. Many of the other female knights went to her for advice, when they could find her.
