Dumbledore's Portrait

Dumbledore's Portrait in the Headmaster's Office

I know some of you might not be fans of Micheal Gambon's portrayal of Albus Dumbledore but this picture just breaks my heart. The first time I saw this, I literally cried though not the totally over-the-top crying but made me shed some tears... And then I recalled being described in the book about Harry seeing Dumbledore's portrait with him looking like he was just sleeping (after his death, in the morning after).

So, what do you guys think? sad

I watched it Pedley, but I must've missed that part. I saw this on the Harry Potter wiki and I was like... O.O

It's definitely depressing and though I am not a huge fan of Michael Gambon's portrayal of Dumbledore he did make up for part of it in the sixth film. No matter what I'm still upset that Dumbledore died. I love his character and the painting makes it all the worse. When Richard Harris died I actually cried because I knew no one could capture Dumbledore (as he lived in my head) quite as fully ever again and because we had lost one of the greatest actor of the past generation.

Well it's a lovely picture. I didn't mind that Dumbledore died as much as most people though....Perhaps if I had a heart I might cry but there's really nothing there.

I didn't notice that either. crying

Just about every Dumbledore scene in that movie brought me close to tears because I knew what was about to happen.
