It was already late. Sun was setting and the sky was colored with most beautiful orange color. Midra was happy cos now she could breathe easier. Lately days have been warmer and warmer and good shade was hard to find. Closing her eyes she took a deep breathe of sweet scent in the air. It was from her favorite flowers. It always calmed her down and she prepared her self for late snack before planning on any other possible activities.

As per usual, Xochi was patrolling 'her' forests and jungles, this time walking rather than keeping to the trees and flight. She yawned widely, tired and shook her head a bit to keep herself awake. Tonight would most definitely be an early night for her, as she was already having a hard time staying awake and it wasnt even dark yet.
Her eyes moved over the edge of the forest slowly, skimming to see any activity that didnt belong, and she easily caught sight of the other mare. She gave a heavy sigh to herself, ears moving a bit. Great, just when she really didnt want to deal with anyone. She only made her way to the mare, keeping a distance as she really was too tired to have a full on confrontation. She would just let the mare know she was unwelcome and to find somewhere else to sleep or eat or whatever it was she intended on doing.
She finally was a decent bit away from Midra, but still close enough for the mare to hear her easily. 'You arent welcome here, find somewhere else to settle,' she called out quite bluntly.

Midra was just about to start her late meal when she spotted winged mare in her near. She managed to say
'' Well hello... ''
when she was interrupted and what she heard was not pleasant. After all why was she not welcome. She never saw this mare before in her entire life so she couldn't have done anything to offend her. Neither was she that kin d of soquili. Her parents learned her to be nice and pleasant and well behaved young mare what couldn't be said for the miss standing not to far away from her. And after all who did she think she was saying something like that in the first place.
'' Wait what? ''
Midra shook her head to get rid of the shock she just experienced.
'' What did you say? ''
She refused to believe her ears. There must have been a mistake somewhere. Maybe she spent too much time in the sun today.

Xochi snorted at the mare's seeming stupidity, or at least the part where she seemed to be deaf. Her wings flared a bit and her ears started to pin, impatient.
'Leave,' she said again, still as blunt and rough as before, as if the simple one word would be less confusing to her.

Well really! What a rude mare! And angeni were suppose to be graceful, rolemodel models for others. Something this mere most sure wasn't. Under any other circumstance Midra would have done what mare asked of her and left. But she was hungry and had no idea to where this mare would follow her. So Midra decided to turn her back to the mare, put some more distance between them and carry on with her planned dinner completely ignoring mare with bad maners.

Keeping quiet as she saw the other starting to move, she would keep an eye on her a moment just to make sure the other had gotten the right idea. She had no patience today for idiots and she was happy the other was finally on her way. She was about to turn her back and leave herself before she saw Midra starting to turn into another part of 'her' forest jungle and she sighed, rolling her eyes before she took flight and landed right in front of the mare this time, snapping at her.
'Are you deaf or just stupid?'

Midra jumped from surprise when angeni mare appeared in front of her from no where. Her fur hair on her back went up in the air like she just got shudder from cold air and there was no cold air miles around. She looked at mare with wide opened eyes full of disbelief. This was not happening to her. It just couldn't.
'' Hey! You just stepped on my dinner you overgrown tomboy! ''
Midra swished her tail angrily few times just to get rid of tension that formed in her muscles from startle.
'' What is the big deal with you bullying me like this! ''

Xochi only ground her hooves a bit more into the area where she stood at the comment of stepping on Midra's dinner. Her ears flicked a bit as Midra's tail swished and she sneered.
"MY forest, is not YOUR place of dining, my dear," she spoke as if speaking to someone younger, tho she might as well have been just as young herself.
"Do you see me going into YOUR home and eating YOUR things?"

Dear?! Did she call her dear?! No one calls her dear! And what was this rubbish about her forest. Land provides food and shelter for all living things be it small or big. But no one can nor has right to claim it as they're own for it was here long before they were born and it will be here long after they are gone. Midra was not afraid of this narrow minded mare she just pissed her of by every passing minute. Lovering her ears with an angry look on her face she stopped her nose an inch away from the mare's nose. Two can play this game.
'' I do not see your name written anywhere Missy. ''

Her nostrils flared, challenging the mare to strike at her in her anger, her teeth gritted at the closeness and she didnt so much as even stand down when Midra responded in such a way.
"Go ahead... give me a reason to hurt you," she sneered. Her massive tail flicked a bit as her wings started to unfold and flare. Truthfully, Xochi had never been in a physical confrontation before, and she never made the first move, but she guessed it couldnt be THAT bad.

Midra swished her tail a bit more. If this mare thought she could frighten her she had a disappointment coming her way. If there was one thing Midra hated the most it was hot headed princesses like this one.
'' Go on and make my day princess! If you think I am afraid of you because you look bigger you have a disappointment coming your way. ''
This was not the first time Midra would get in fight and she knew it wouldn't be the last. She had her horn and she knew very well hoe to use it. But before they get any more serious a good game of chicken could be useful. Some fights could be avoided only by taking a firm stand.

Xochi was completely steamed, her ears pinned back to her headdress and her eyes narrowed as she growled low. Her only saving grace at the moment was that she refused to ever make the first move, and right now, that seemed to be the only other course of action.
She was quiet for a long moment as her head lowered, as if she would break that promise. She finally just snorted and hissed, shaking her head a bit. 'Pathetic....' she mumbled low before righting herself and turning to leave. 'You are just a waste of time.'

Midra opened her mouth in attempt to ping back few poisoned words but decided she would be better of not troubling her self with such low breed mare that had no education in rules of proper behavior. After all she was all talk and no action. So Midra stuck her tongue out at mares back and turned around so she wouldn't have to look at her.
She looked at the grass but all this stress left her with no appetite for any kind of food. It was at that point that Midra was glad a fight was avoided. When she thought a bit better this mare would have been a bit bigger bite than she could handle. That made her smirk.
'' Great... ''

Oh she wasnt just going to walk away and allow the mare to roam her jungles without keeping an eye on her. She quickly took to the air, she needed to at least release some tension as she found she was flapping her wings rather hard, teeth still clenched. She only circled back around and landed in one of the bigger, more massive trees that could support her weight and she watched her. Her ears were still pinned and she snorted, easily making noise enough so the other mare would know she was watching her.

Midra turned her head in the direction the sound of snorting came from.
'' Oh no... ''
Perfect. It was not enough that she had such bad luck to meet so unpleasant Angeni today now she got an annoying watcher as well. This pissed her of. Midra looked at grass once more and decision was made. She will eat it even if she isn't hungry any more just to spite that pest that claims this part of ground hers. She took her first bite and started to chew with smirk on her face.
