Personally, I think Ace is just a little TOO perfect for my taste. Rimmer would be annoying, but on a livable level.
What do you think?

I'm not sure... I don't think I'd want to live with Ace at all... Rimmer would probably moan a lot but I reckon with a bit of affection and attention he'd soften up a bit... 3nodding
So, I choose Rimmer.

Neither as well. I would take Kyten over Cat. At least he does not use his tonue to clean clothes nor is he vain either.

Let's review the pros and cons of living with any of them.
Lister: Good news-- fun. Bad news-- likely to result in time spent in the local insane asylum if you happen to be a neatfreak.
Rimmer: Good news-- fun to bait, and you can't possibly be more boring than him so he makes you look good even if you're the nerdiest person in the world. Bad news-- talk of telephone poles probably gets really boring after a while.
Cat: Good news-- er... free fashion advice? Bad news-- just like living with a regular cat, only he can actually curse you in a language you understand.
Kryten: Good news-- free maid. Bad news-- same thing as with Lister, only in reverse. If you're a total slob I'll bet you'd hate him within seconds.
Kochanski: Good news-- female, for all you guys out there. Otherwise, nothing. Bad news-- unwilling to put out, for all you guys out there, and you know that's what you were thinking. Also annoying as hell. Also probably has very little personality (besides "bitchy") compared to the others.
Now then. Discuss. xd

I have to say that Ace doesn't annoy me much, and he would be fun to live with, but if Rimmer was still a soft-light hologram, I'd love to walk through him when I was mad at him and watch him get ten more frustrated than before. As for Ace, he's so perfect you CAN'T be mad at him....unless you're Rimmer, of course. I could never live with someone who never made me mad.
