It'd been almost a month since Jen was confined to a hospital bed, and she was being released soon. Nyx couldn't wait. She wasn't fully healed, of course, but she was at least able to get out of that little room. The doctor and a few nurses had told her not to let Jen do any heavy lifting, training, fighting, etc.
Nyx opened the door on the little carrier they'd given her to take her prize home and tied the little white ribbon around the blue fur ball's neck. She took a step back to admire her handiwork.
"Stay. Your new owner will be here soon."

"Vee?"
A little paw tried to reach up to tug at the strange thing around his neck. When that didn't work, he tried to reach around to chew on it. Again, fail. On his third try to either investigate or rid himself of the bow, the blue/silver eevee started scratching at the ribbon with his hind leg like he had an itch.
Again, epic fail.
It was official: He did not like the bow.
"Eevee vee!" He slumped and gave Nyx his best sad eye expression. It had worked with the other humans at the place with the bright lights. Maybe it would work here?
Despite this, he did stay as Nyx commanded. He was a good pokemon after all.

"Aren't you cute!" Nyx chuckled and took a seat on one of the sturdier boxes stacked up in the room. "Stop messing with it. You're a present, you have to have a bow. It'll be off soon enough." She reached over and gave him a pat on the head.
The room was small... Indeed, this had been intended as a punishment. There was room for walking, the bunk beds, a desk, two dressers, and a closet, and not much else. They'd manage, though. It would be a little cramped with eight pokemon; Good thing none of them were very big.
The closet creaked a little. Probably the air causing the floor and walls to shift.
"You wait here on the bed, look cute, stop messing with the ribbon, I'll be back. I have to go get your owner." She pointed her finger at the blue Eevee, to add emphasis to her words, and then left for the hospital ward, closing the door behind her.

"Vrr?"
The little eevee did a head tilt at the humans' words but did as he was told. Besides, hasnt the human said it would be gone soon? He could bare with it until then.
Thats when the human stood up again and pointed a finger at him. He promptly sat his furry bottom on the mattress. Look cute? He could do that. Stay? He could do that too. He wagged his tail as the fluffy-haired human closed the door before plopping down on the mattress to wait.
At the hospital ward, Jen was recieving some final advice (orders) from the doctor on duty. She grumbled at the person and when they left, was quick to change out of the hospital gown into a pair of sweat pants and a plain t-shirt. She did have a bit of trouble with the shirt due to her bandaged and casted arm but eventually won over the cotton garment.
"I am so done with this place..."

Nyx knocked on the door to Jen's hospital room and let herself in.
"Hey! Escort is here! Time to see the new room!" Nyx grinned at her friend.
Meanwhile, in the room, the air in the closet kept shifting things around. Almost too much for it to be the air. Whatever it was, it looked out from the crack of the closet door.

"Hrmph! I don't need no stinkin' escort!"
Jen sent Nyx a mock scowl for a moment for that faded into a large grin. It had been a tough ride for the both of them during the past month but maybe now they could have a few days of peace and quiet.
"New room, eh? How big is it? Bigger than our old rooms combined?"
Back in the room, the noises coming from the closet caused the little eevee to go into investigation mode.
Jumping down from the mattress, he toddled over and stared at the closet door before reaching out to paw at it like a Meowth.
"Veee?"
'Allo?

"Ehh... not quite." Nyx scratched her head, wherever it was under that mess of white fluff, and shrugged. "Definitely meant to be a punishment. Oh well! We'll make the best of it! Maybe I'll make a shrink ray." She laughed and motioned for Jen to hurry it up!
"P'cha!" Whatever was in the closet didn't like the blue thing getting so close, and could be heard scrambling around in the closet, perhaps trying to hide.

"Its only small because you're carrying around a horde of pokemon, compared to my only two." Jen smirked at her best friend as the two forementioned pokemon jumped off the hospital bed. One, a dark Pidgeotto, glided over to land on Nyx's shoulders with his sharp talons gently holding on. He gave a small coo as a pale Pichu bounded over to sit on Jen's shoulder with little sparks flying from his cheeks.
She frowned at the motion and limped after Nyx as they exited the ward. "HEY! I cant walk as fast! I wasnt Super Scientist and dodged a hail of bullets!"
Now the little eevee was interested in whomever was in the closet. He crouched down and pawed at the old rug beneath his paws before scampering at the door in a light Tackle attack.
Needless, the door won when the tiny pokemon when tumbling backwards after hitting the wood with a loud THUMP.

"Bah, they're all tiny." Nyx marched down the halls with extravagant emphasis on raising her legs up as high as she could with each step. "Hey, I'm not the one who taunted them!" Nyx stuck her tongue out at Jen and pressed the button to the elevator. They'd be in the room soon, then she'd see that it wasn't the pokemon that made it small.
Now whatever was in that closet was especially not coming out, and by the lack of any sound, it seemed that whatever it was had found an alternate escape route. The sound of footsteps floated down the hall and into the room. It seemed the resident humans were returning.

"Says you." Jen swatted at her partner with a small laugh as they stepped out of the elevator and towards their new room. "For all you know, Beaker the Almighty could have attracted them with her aura of awesome."
Little ears perked up at the sounds of footsteps and voices, one of them being the lady that brought him from the place with the bright lights. TOddling back over the to mattress, the eevee jumped up and sat down neatly in plain view of the door. To add to his cuteness, one of his ears flopped slightly and his head tilted to the side slightly.

"Well, that sounds dangerous. I'll have to have a talk with her about that." Nyx giggled as she opened the door for Jen and stood out of the way.
"Home sweet home." Now to see how long it took Jen to notice her present.

"You should." Jen smirked and limped into the room with her head turned towards Nyx. "For all we know, she might hire Team Aqua or something just to make things more active around here." She would have said more, if not for the neon-blue bundle of fur sitting on the unsheeted mattress of the lower bunk. Jen locked eyes with the pokemons' bright green ones before turning back to Nyx with a mild mock glare.
"Okay....Did you just get another pokemon for playing Super Scientist on that raid or something?" She smirked. "If you keep shoving pokemon in here, there wont be enough room for all of us."

"Nope." Nyx sauntered into the room and took a seat on one of the boxes. She pulled out her coin purse and gave it a nice shake; A few coins clacked together, but it was mostly empty.
"He's yours." She grinned. There wasn't much else to say.

Jen blinked a few times, glancing between the pokemon and the empty casino coin container before plopping down on the bed with a light wince. The little pokemon took this opportunity to jump onto her lap with a happy "Eee!", purring happily as the grunt started scratching him behind the ears.
"Hmph...To think gambling was a good thing." Jen grinned at Nyx before freeing the little pokemon from the bow around its neck. ".........Thanks Nyx."

"I figured you'd need SOMEONE to keep you in line while you recover." She smiled and put her coin purse away. Gambling was all about numbers, and she was great with numbers... of course this meant she couldn't go to the casino for a few months, but hey!
Nyx got off her box and placed her hands on her hips.
"So! We've got a bunch of unpacking to do. Well. I've got a bunch of unpacking to do, you have a bunch of telling me where to put stuff."
