This is where the villagers come when they desire to become shinobi or seek for a teacher. Here, an academy student may take a genin exam with a NPC but that is if, and only if, there isn't anyone who can test the academy student for the genin test. The rules of the genin testing are still the same.
After the tremors, the academy had to be completely rebuilt, in order to prevent any accident involving the students and teachers. Most of the building was also built to be resistant to explosives and accidents involving fire, just in case someone happens to forget this place is an academy and not a battlefield.

Those "NPC Teachers" can also teach jutsus of chuunin level for genins, but only if there are NO USERS of the desired element in the village who can teach them.

Who controls the NPC Teachers:
- Kagura Nurari [Beatriz-chan]
-
-

If you want to apply for a teacher NPC, just pm me. Regardless of rank, village, organization. What is taken into consideration is the RP skills and responsability.
This topic might be deleted if it is disapproved by a MOD or is breaking some kind of rule. If that happens, PM me telling me what happened.

Yuka silently strolled among the halls of the Academy looking through the rooms, rather rudely, for someone to teach her the jutsu she would need to know to become a Genin. It honestly shouldn't have been hard at all, but the scrolls in the Library had a huge learning curve that usually wasn't bypassed until one hit Chuunin.

From one of the many rooms in the building there could be heard a loud snoring. This sound came from one of the teachers, who had decided that since there were no students readily available to torment, he would take the time to sleep, and collect his pay without doing anything. The man was a good six foot tall with a wiry build and a shock of red hair upended from his scalp, at the moment however, he was lying face down on his desk in a very unattractive puddle of drool. The academy hadn't had many students recently, and he almost wondered why at first, but then he realized how nice sleeping on the job was and gave up on those thoughts.

(( xD Hinote, I like how you presented him. ))

Yuka stopped at one of the rooms, which was the source of the noise that assailed her ears. It was loud, and quite rude, but it seemed to be coming from the teacher inside this particular room. The man had his head lain against the table, surrounded by a pool of drool, and his very... unique red hair. Why was the man sleeping on the job? Were there really few shinobi in the Iwagakure village? She shook her head and approached the desk, the sound of her shoes making little to no sound against the floor.

She down down and put her black lips to the ear of the sleeping teacher, sucking in a rather large breath before speaking. "Hello!" She shouted into his ear, her wrists pressed against her hips.

"Woah!" The man exclaimed, jerking instantly from his sleep. Precious sleep... Sadly, his chair was not built for sudden motion of the upward kind, and tipped over backwards, sending a now flailing man crashing head first through the wall. "Ow." Came the man's voice, before he pulled himself back into the room, brushing sheet rock shards from his hair. "Hello." He said with a smile, turning to the girl who had woken him. "Need something?" He asked, cocking his head to the side. Wait, she looked... No, she couldn't be! Not another student! The man glanced at his desk, wondering if he could still hide under it. No, she didn't look like she would fall for that...

(( Too much activity in this guild. And, stop making me laugh. xD ))

The academy student couldn't help but giggle lightly as the grown male jerked upward from surprise. Her enjoyment was furthered when he fell backward, going through the wall as well. Her cerulean eyes studied him quickly, taking note of a large wet area on his face, the spot where his head met the pool of drool. They continued to follow his movements as he recovered from the fall, standing up to greet her.

"Yes... I need to be taught a few Katon jutsu, as it seems everyone else is ignorant of the element." She replied with a hint of laughter, finding the man all but comical at the moment. He seemed carefree, as near panic was mirrored in his eyes when he seemed to realize who she was, another student.

"Katon eh?" The man sighed, realizing he wasn't going to get out of this. Slowly standing up he put his chair back, subtly wiping his face on his sleeve while he was at it, and turned to her again. "I should be able to handle that, what do you know already?" He quizzed, then paused. Had he given her his name? "Ah, I'm Kyoukan Gikou, in case you care about names." He said, rubbing the back of his head.

Yuka sighed, feeling entirely weak at the moment due to her knowing nothing. "I don't know anything, all I have is this scroll I fetched from the library." She tossed it over to the man, obviously brushing aside the point of names. Sure it was nice to put a name to someone's face, but she wouldn't be with this man long, no use in remembering him.

The man nodded slowly, taking in what the girl was saying. Catching the scroll he simply set it on his desk. "Well, I suppose that means we start with the basics then. Making fire!" With that, he stepped out from behind the desk and to the front of the room where there was more space.

Gesturing for the girl to watch closely, the man held up one hand in a half seal, two fingers pointing skyward. Channeling chakra through the seal and into his pointer finger, he began to talk. "Choose any seal you want, and focus chakra through it into your pointer finger. While you do it, think of anything that is hot. Helps the concentration." He explained as a tiny flame finally appeared on his finger. "It's pretty useless though..." He admitted with a sigh, staring at the tiny flame.

Watched the male intently, already having forgot his name, but still watching nonetheless. He formed a seal, almost lazily, and moments later, flame appeared on the tip of his finger. It wasn't amazing compared to the techniques she had seen, but it was a start. "Anything that's hot, huh? Do I count?" She said, obviously full of herself.

Shaking off the obviously comedic comment, Yuka formed her hands into the ox seal. Closing her eyes, she began to concentrate, molding chakra with her inexperience, and attempting to send it to the tips of her fingers.

Soon enough, a flame comparable to the size of one on a lighter appeared on the tip of one of her fingers. It didn't burn her skin at all, but instead made her feel foolishly exhilarated."What's next?" She asked.

"Good, good!" The man smiled, she had picked that one up quickly enough, maybe he wouldn't be stuck here after all. "Oops... Forgot, that one is called Katon:Ichi." The man said, looking down at the floor for a moment. Why was he forgetting so much lately? "Now, I'd honestly love to skip the intermediaries and teach you how to spit flammable gasses from your mouth into that little flame, but, I can't." He said with a goofy grin as he dropped his hand, the flame vanishing. "I can teach you how to roast a man's face off though." He said with a smile, setting his hands into another seal.

"This time we focus the chakra to our lungs, concentrate it into heat, and spit it up!" He said, doing just that, spitting out a burst of cinders and heat. "It's not much good at long range, but like I said, you could roast a man's face." He smiled, coughing a little. "Tastes nasty though." He added, sticking his tongue out. "Blech. That's called the flare technique." He tacked on the end, remembering to tell her the name.

(( Sorry for being a lazy bum. ))

"Roasting off a man's face? That sounds rather gruesome, but fun." She replied, her eyes instantly snapping to his fingers when he formed another hand seal. The words he spoke easily slid into her ears, her mind absorbing the information and planning on putting it to use.

Placing her hands in the same seal, and closing her eyes once more to focus. Following the male's directions word for word, she molded the chakra and concentrated it in her lungs. Gradually, it began to shift to it, her natural talent with Katon taking command.

She let herself a small, silent giggle at the mans wording of 'spitting it up,' since you couldn't spit from the lungs. Nonetheless, she led the heat out of her mouth, its touch bursting forth and lightly brushing the man before her. Immediately, she was assailed by the terrible taste he had mentioned, her expression turning sour. Yuka took a few seconds to relax and recover. "I can't imagine using that in the future, not unless I manage to render my taste buds useless."

Gikou smiled at the girl's expression, nodding. "Yeah, ash isn't a pleasant taste at all. Honestly, you'll probably never use most of these beginner jutsu again. Except maybe the next one." He grinned, pulling a shurikan from his pocket. "The basis of this one is just coating a projectile in fire, usually kunai or shurikan, thus the name; Katon: Shuriken." He shrugged, obviously finding the name rather tasteless, before continuing.

Lifting the shuriken, he flicked his wrist, launching it across the room. Before if got more than a few inches from his fingers though, he sucked in a quick breath, and spat at the projectile, a small ball of flame shooting out and sticking to it. The shuriken embedded itself in the wall, where it started to burn a bit before going out. "Quite useful for lighting shanty towns or the backyard grill from fifty feet away." He chuckled, gesturing for the girl to try it.

Yuka locked her eyes to the movement of the male as he began the next jutsu, etching each into her mind. There were on a stone tablet when he had finished, easily enabling her to repeat the same process with ample preparation. To start it all, she reached into her shruiken pouch and pulled one out, readying it to be thrown.

Using nearly the same method as before, the academy student focused chakra into her lungs, gradually morphing it into heat that would become the fire to light the shruiken. She bent her arm at a slight angle and tossed the shruiken at a wall.

The moment the metal object left her fingers Yuka released the air in her lungs, the fire pouring from her mouth and into the air. It latched itself to the metal of the shruiken and stuck with it until it hit the wall, promptly dying away before it caused a major fire.

"Good job!" The teacher smiled, clapping his hands a bit. Turning his head to the ceiling he sighed a bit. This child showed promise, and he really wanted to skip these useless techniques. But rules were rules, and if he disobeyed them, the tsuchikage would have his head for dinner. Now that was a disturbing thought. "There aren't many uses for the rest of these, mostly just distractions and cigarette lighters." He sighed, before going back to his explanations. "The next on our list is what has mysteriously been dubbed the veil technique. Why, I haven't the foggiest clue, because it doesn't resemble a veil at all." He blinked for a moment, before forcing himself back on track. "Anyways, for this one, you focus the fire chakra to your hands, but don't light it. Clap your hands together, and light the chakra in that very instant. The result is the chakra being forced out in a flash of sorts. Useless in the long run, but it's supposedly good for a quick blinding." The man shrugged, raising his hands and showing the technique. Without even making a seal, the man channeled chakra into his palms, and smashed them together, a bright flash emanating from within. It wouldn't do much though. As he had said, it could only blind for a mere instant. Like turning the lights on too fast in the dark.
