Mavican's paws carried her through the trees as she headed towards...well she couldn't remember where she had been headed but if she kept walking she would eventually get there right? With her tail wagging in that proverbial sign of utter happiness Mavican didn't seem to have a care in the world. When she came to a well worn game trail the small spotted pup brought her self to a stop, looking one way down it and then the other way. Hm well what way should she go? They both looked to be the right way. Trying to retrace her steps Mavican thought hard as to what she did after she left the den. "I took a right, then a left, then a followed the river so..." She glanced down to the left again. "This way!" She told herself cheerfully and began to bound happily down the trail convinced that it would lead her home, or wherever it was she was trying to get to.

Panting heavily Vaughn slowed to a stop he could hear off in the distance movement of some sort, he hadn’t been in contact with other wolves in a while and by the smell of it she was most certainly a wolf. Instantly Victory Vaughn could feel his strength come back just by the mere thought of some form of encounter, it hadn’t been too long being alone but it was the longest in his whole life where he didn’t have his family to run to. His whole life his mother had instilled nobility and honor that he never had any time to learn the real outside world, how might he have gotten lost?
Well when one is tempted too much… Quickly Vaughn’s pace quickened, ‘Right now I don’t care if it’s a girl… Maybe since it’s been so long I’ve broken my fear!’ Another thing his mother was never able to help fix, his fear of the opposite sex.
((If you need me to post more just tell me so. It's been so long for me.))

At first it looked like she had chosen the right path. It was looking familiar to her. Especially that tree, she though as she passed by a large and sturdy oak. But of course come to think of it, all the trees looked familiar - no all the trees just looked the same. With a slight shrug Mavican continued onward, she wasn't about to let a little thing like all the trees looking the same get her down.
But then she heard a noise and came to a stop. Ears swiveled around as she tried to hear just what was coming her way. Maybe it was her mother coming to find her, or maybe a hungry bear, or maybe one of her siblings. She had siblings right? Well only one way to find out. "Mother?" She called out cheerfully, tail wagging like a tiny purple flag.

Ears perked at the sudden sound and confirmation of another wolf that Vaughn could possibly be around for just even a moment. His excitement getting the best of him Vaughn missed the uprooted branch hidden in the puddle of mud that his paw got caught on and there went Vaughn sliding down the slight hill there was. Growling Vaughn hated this uncontrollable feeling as he slipped down the hill, his paw got caught again and he went face first into the ground starting an even more uncontrollable tumble. Vaughn could remember falling down a hill before with his…
Gonk! And suddenly the lights went out on Vaughn as his head connected with trunk.

The sounds of...crashing? reaching Mavican's ears and she spun around to see a large wolf not far away collide with a tree. That had to hurt she thought as she stood there staring at him for a moment unsure of what to do. He could probably use some help, but how could she help him, he looked asleep. Oh! She could wake him up, then he would be happy! Padding over to where the wolfs limp body rested against the tree trunk Mavican reached out with her paw and gently tapped the other wolfs leg.
Not really willing to wait to see if that got a reaction Mavicna moved on, trying something else. This time she jumped up so that both her front paws landed against his shoulder and yelled. "Hey wake up silly!" Before she jumped away, landing a couple of feet away from him. She waited silently to see if he would wake up. If not well, then she would try something else.

Woken with a start Vaughn’s world was spinning as he glanced around trying to focus on what, or who had woken him. ‘Crap… what… happen?’ Shaking his head he could feel his fur was heavy and thick, glancing down to check himself he was happy to see that it was only mud coating his beautiful fur. Slowly and a bit shaken Vaughn did his best to rise to his full height, everything spun for a moment but finally stilled to a point where Vaughn could finally fully focus.
Unfortunately he was staring right at a female wolf; a cold chill ran along Vaughn’s back freezing him in his stance as his stare locked with a far off distance that wasn’t the female before him.

As the larger wolf woke up Mavican started bounced around with happiness. Aha she had helped! "Your funny!" She exclaimed excitedly as she continued to bounce about, this was a very funny looking wolf. "You went tumbling... andthenthetreestoppedyoubutitstoppedyouwithyourheadandyoufellasleep..." Taking a deep breath Mavican continued on with her story in a more relaxed voice. "But I helped you. I woke you up and now your awake." Mavican brought her bouncing to a stop as she looked at him and his mud covered fur. "Youallmuddyyourmommygonnabemad!" She blurted out with a laugh, it didn't really occur to her that an adult wolf wouldn't get scolded by it's mother should they get dirty.
Glancing off for a moment as if distracted by a sound or something she had heard Mavican slowly turned her head back until she as looking at the adult wolf again. "Woah you're dirty!" Tipping her head to the side she let her tail continue in that constant wagging that seemed to sometimes shake her entire back half. "Hi, I'm Mavican."

Cringing Vaughn watched as the small female, now with the name Mavican, was dancing all around. ‘Crap crap crap…’ So his being afraid of females wasn’t fixed yet, “Ahh…” Flinching Vaughn let out a low painful groan, thinking about his past hurt his head right now. Leaning down Vaughn slowly rubbed his head against his leg, “I’m Victory Vaughn… Ouch…” Cringing again Vaughn felt a sharp punch to his right temple, rubbing faster Vaughn took deep breaths, “And I’m in a lot of pain right now…”
Plopping his butt onto the ground Vaughn felt loads better being closer to the ground.

Mavican let out a small laugh as he rubbed his head. He was pretty funny, though she wasn't sure why. "You have a funny name...I'm gonna call you Big Blue instead, cause your big...and your blue!" She barked excitedly at him. Plus it would be so much easier for her to remember that instead of his real name - whatever that was. Tipping her head to the side she watched him curiously as he sat down declaring that he was in a lot of pain. "Why you in pain? Did you hurt yourself?" He didn't look hurt, there was no blood that she could see so Mavican was confused as to why he was in pain.

Shaking out his fur Vaughn stretched out his back a slight headache forming, “I um… I hit my head remember?” A light groan left as a whine while Vaughn slowly slipped away from the small female, “Now um… could you do me a favor?” Blinking a bit before looking straight at the young Vaughn gulped as the familiar shiver and cold filled his bones. He could remember freezing up and not being able to talk to females, blaming it on his mother hasn’t helped cure him of his fear over the years though but at least his headache was leaving and he could focus on the…female? Another shiver ran down his back at the very thought of fully focusing on a female.

Her tails wagging slowed down for a moment and her brow furrowed in thought. After a moment of thinking she looked at him and gave her head a shake. "Nope, I don't remember that." Her tail began to wag faster now, returning to its normal speedy pace. "Mother says I suffer from short term memory loss. At least I think that's what she said...I can't remember." Speaking of mother where was she? Mavican glanced about but couldn't see her anywhere, but that didn't worry the pup one bit. So she returned her gaze to the blue male as he spoke again. "A favor? What kind of favor?" A smile crossed her maw as she thought of how happy he would be if she could help him out.

Frowning Vaughn shook his head the little ones words spinning his head in a circle, “I need you to just… take a few steps back.” Gesturing a few feet away from him Vaughn took a few steps away from Mavican as well just in case it didn’t happen fast enough on his end. His shivers lessened as he could feel the small ones presences not feel as if it was suffocating him; maybe this was why he was kicked out and left alone? Pushing those thoughts to the back of his head he could feel his headache come back, that wasn’t fair he couldn’t feel pain just from wanting to forget his family.

Mavican thought that was an odd request, for her to take a few steps back, but if that would make him happy then she would oblige. Backing up a few steps Mavican glanced back to make sure she wasn't gonna trip on anything. Hey look a grasshopper! Spotting the small green bouncing bug Mavican's tail wagged even faster as she jumped after it, trying to catch it with her paws. Boy was he fast, it always seemed to jump out of the way just in time. The grasshopper jumped to the left and she followed suit a moment later but again it got out of the way a moment before her paws could reach it.
Hey what's that blue over there, she thought as something came into view. Ignoring the grasshopper Mavicna turned her head to get a better look. Oh another wolf! Maybe he wants to play. Trotting over towards him, Mavican sat down a few feet away and looked up at him. "Hi, I'm Mavican, who are you?"

Glancing at the pup Vaughn frowned, maybe this would be easier then he thought? That is until he noticed her attention span disappear right before his eyes; thankfully this gave him enough time to work on controlling his shaking and breathing. ‘She’s small and helpless… Small and helpless…’ Repeating himself seems to work, it blocked out all his parents’ voices in his head and the packs glares and… And what was Mavican doing now? Vaughn’s frown deepened as he watched the little pup jump around and then completely act as if he was a new wolf?
“I’m Victory Vaughn… We already… Did this…” Glancing around Vaughn took in deep breaths trying to make sure this wasn’t come sort of prank from the punks in his old pack. But then that wouldn’t make any sense why would they wait until now to spring this little clueless pup on him?

Tilting her head slightly Mavican tried to remember if she had talked to him before. Well she couldn't remember for sure or not. "We did?" She questioned him, brow furrowed in thought. "I'm sorry, I have a terrible memory." Sitting up a bit taller she seemed to suddenly perk up a bit. "It runs in my family...at least I think it does." Her brow furrowed in thought once more as she began to look around. "Now where are they?" Come to think of it Mavican really wasn't sure where her family was, or who her family was...or for that matter where she was. Eyes moved back to the large blue male. Was he her family. They didn't look the same but maybe he was like a cousin or something.
