▬▬▬● ●Territory Information ● ● ▬▬▬ Dawn-Fire Pack of the West Forest Pack Alpha: Icarus
Betas: [Warrior]: Rebel [Hunter]: Rouqie [Medic]: Issun [Nurse]: Sakuya
▬▬▬● ●Pack RP Info ● ● ▬▬▬ The Dawn-Fires have long since been known as the rag-tag group of wolves who emerged from the loneliness of those who were left by their packs. The remains joined and formed a group, the pack leader, Icarus, rose to the top of the Alpha Tournament took his place as leader. Soon after, another group formed and the pack divided, those willing left to the other side of the forest.
Now the Dawn-Fire look towards their bright future as they escape the grasp of the Darkness and bound into the new light with a fiery will to destroy the evil. Bonds are being formed as the now-smaller group is much more manageable and in a quieter mood.
▬▬▬● ● Old Pack RP Info ● ● ▬▬▬ The protected forest was controlled by Three great packs. The Sure-claw Pack of the North Mountains known for their resolute attitudes and hardy culture, the Haven Pack of the Forest Named for their elusive behavior and mysterious ways, and finally the Flyer Pack of the Plains Named for the way they seem to fly through the grasslands of the south and travel huge distances every day to find game.
● ● ●
Life in the Protected Forest was harmonious and unchanging for many years, until, for some reason, the guardian spirits of the forest seemed to be getting weaker. The most likely reason for this is because the Darkness, which controls the wastes beyond the forest is getting stronger.
A few months ago, strange creatures began entering the forest, hard to describe for they only appear at night and seem shrouded in black haze. They move on four legs, like a wolf, but they do not have an odor, nor do they speak with us. At first they came only one at a time, scouts perhaps, but then in greater numbers, catching stray pups in the night and leaving their bodies in the forest.
At last the Great Packs decided to take action. Every wolf congregated in the center of the Forest of Serinn and from there marched North up to the Plateaus and the mysterious menace.
They have not returned.
● ● ●
A few wolves were chosen to remain behind with the pups of the various clans, in case the worst should happen. Now that it has, the remaining wolves must create a new pack, but first, must come to terms with what has happened.
Each of the pups and adults at this point comes from one of these packs. They may be prejudiced towards those of other packs or ambivalent. Be aware, however, that these packs no longer exist. As far as we know, we are the only wolves left in the forest.

Rouqie sat on the gentle nest of leaves she'd created to keep comfortable while she was on the lookout for the rest of the pack's return.
The close foilage above sent strong shafts of light through to dapple the forest floor, yellow, green and brown. Thick vegetation littered the ground and climbed the trunks of the massive trees for a little bit of sun. The air was alive with the thrum of life. insects, amphibians, birds. All singing the chorus of life.
She yawned widely and thought of how long she'd waited, whether the others would return at all.

Taki lifted her head as she scented the breeze. Her lime green eyes missed nothing as she scanned the trees looking for some movement but found none. She caught the scent of Rouqie, another female, as she stretched her shoulders.
She followed the females scent then stopped a few yards away from her and barked a soft greetings as she padded from the underbrush, her head just sticking out.

xxxxxIcarus lay on the forest floor, playing with a small flower that was creeping out of a crevice in the dry dirt beneath a tree. He pawed at it with his paws until at one point, he crushed the delicate being and its petals fell to the dirt. Disappointed he whined lightly. After hearing a slight scurrying in the forest, he dashed towards his den. His parents were a part of the Haven Pack and raised him for the first month of his life in the forest. However, they had joined the battle against the mysterious beings. He quickly snuck to the back of the well-hidden den, hiding himself behind small bushes that he had dragged in weeks before.
xxxxxIcarus was considered an odd child from the Haven Pack for his bright colours made him stick out in the forest of green. He listened quietly as the sounds soon passed, and eventually he emerged. With a small whine he looked in the direction of the worn path leading away from his den. He half expected his parents to trot through and groom him as they had always done before. Icarus was by himself, a lone pup. The rest of his litter-mates had been picked off by the darkness scouts; this was the reason as to why both of his parents ran off after the monsters.
xxxxxHe lowered his head as he slowly walked towards the thick foliage. He was thin, dangerously so and he needed to find the rest of his pack. Icarus had remained in his den, praying for his parents return. But, it had been an impossibly long time for him. The smell and markings of his parents slowly disappeared from his memories. With his lowered snout he sniffed the ground in front of him, trying to catch the scent of a wolf. When he finally did, his head snapped up and he yelped his loudest, "Yip!"

Kora walked quietly througth the forest, glancing warily around her. It had been two months since her siblings had been killed by the Darkness, sparing only her. Her parents had both been hunting, and they had never come back. Kora had been surviving by running into adults, asking for food, then slipping away. She didn't need anyone to protect her. Surviving with as little contact with others would make her strong.
She didn't care about comfort anymore, nor the fact that she probably wasn't a pup inside anymore. The Darkness had taken her family, her life from her.

"Taki" Said Rouqie, gesturing to a place in the grass beside her. "Do you enjoy sneaking up on me? I always think you're the first of a pack returning home"
She smiled wearily. She missed her pack so much, it sometimes hurt to think about it.

"Perhaps it is a new pack that must be created then?" Taki replied, her eyes gazing softly at Rougie.
Her parents were a pair of lone wolves without a pack. She was with then up until her first year then they came. All she remembered was the gun shots and the yelps of pain and running. Constant running in fear for her own life and the guilt at leaving them behind. She shook her head a bit then padded from the bushes and padded up to Rougie, bowing her head.

Rouqie's ear twitched as she thougt she heard the sound of a pup yipping. Dismissing it as her imagination she turned her attention back to Taki.
"A new pack?" She really hadn't even considered it. But it had been two months... Rouqie had always been loyal if nothing else. To her pack and alpha, she aspired to become a great huntress, to gain renown for her pack and respect from those within it.
Again the annoying yipping sound.
"To be honest. I wouldn't even know where to start with something like that." She admitted, sighing.

"Acceptance is the start," Taki replied with a warm smile as she turned her head. "Do you hear the sound of pups?"
She could hear a small yipping sound coming from the left then she suddenly felt an otherworldly chill.

Kora could hear voices to her left. Turning, she began quickly running towards them, watching where she placed her feet. She stopped when she could clearly see two wolves. She heard one mention forming a pack, and was suprisingly intrested. Maybe they would help me...
She came slowly foward, keeping her eyes on the ground and glancing up every few paces. It was too hard to tell who would take offence if she ran foward like she wanted to. She stopped a few feet away from the wolves. "Excuse me, but I overheard you might be starting a pack."

xxxxxThe emaciated pup called out once more. When no reply came, he flattened his ears against his head and took a trembling step forward. He had been warned by his mother never to wander too far from the den. The past two months had him limited to a small area around his home where he was able to catch and eat insects or leaves if required. Icarus was well aware that he would not survive much longer if this continued. However, he had yet to grasp the concept that his parents were dead. As a young pup he did not understand that he was alone in this world, he was an abandoned pup looking for his mother to return desperately.
xxxxxIcarus inhaled deeply and exhaled. As he released the uneven breath he began to walk forward. His mother had never taught him the Haven Pack ways of trekking through the forest without causing disturbances or being seen. As he padded through the foliage he began to crack sticks and create plenty of noise for such a small creature. He walked under a large bush into a clear area. At first he did not see the towering females and was disorientated by the sudden lack of obstacles. But once his warm blue eyes found the pair he at first yipped in joy. However, he realized that he didn't recognize the two and soon shrunk back whimpering.

Rouqie was about to reply that she had, indeed heard yipping coming from the forest, when suddenly a dark colored pup materialized out of the shadows, as if she had been waiting for the right moment to appear. Rouqie did not know what to make of the question, she was still thinking about it herself. "I-I don't know really, little pup. Where are your parents?" Then, preceded by a racket of snapping twigs and branches, as well as the undisputed source of the yipping, came the skinniest, orangiest pup she had ever seen!
Driven by motherly instincts she took a step toward the orange pup, but it's eyes were wide with fear. She bent her head until she was eye-level with the pup and asked it: "Another pup wandering about alone? Do you have parents, little one?" For whatever reason, this one seemed far more vulnerable.

Taki turned and gazed at the small pup and tilted her head. She lowered her body low to the ground and whispered softly, "Don't worry, little one. We won't hurt you..." She shivered again as the chill crept up her spine before she glanced behind her. She felt like someone was watching her... The male watched the two females and the pup from the shadows of the forest. His otherworldly eyes never showing emotion nor thoughts. He was silent, breathing softly, the only thing to give away his presence was the warm the air cooled around him.

xxxxxIcarus looked about with wild eyes as the large female approached. He was unsure of what the adult would do to him for appearing out of no where; his mother had sometimes told him stories of jealous pack-mates. They were similar to the horrific tales one would tell a pup to keep it from venturing too far off. When the wolf asked him a question, it took him a few moments to understand what she had asked. He took a cautious step forward towards the wolf to close the gap between them and shook his head in a twitchy manner. "Momma gone. Papa gone with momma." he whined quietly.
