 Astro, strolled around outside humming idly to a random tune, he glanced around, seeing what was new and different about his surroundings. He was new and he needed to make a friend or two. He blinked his eyes and gazed around watching the stars twinkle lightly.

Lightening Looked up at the sky watching the clouds go by as her heard some footsteps heading his way , his body close to the ground and his claws feeling the ground. ' what could that be ' he wondered to himself, as he tried to look up without being seen. His wings getting in the way.

Astro took a pause in his stroll and let his ears flick around to focus on sounds that he could hear. He stood still for a moment before shrugging it off and continuing his stroll in the cooling air. 'I wonder who I will run into today'

* With his ears pulled back and the sounds getting louder he backed off alittle but before he has change to turn and run he tripped over a rock that was behind him and fell to the bottom of the bank right onto the path way " ow That hurt. YOU STUPID ROCK , why are you there" causing a scened in the middle of the pathway lightening attempted to get up slightly limping on his front paw "ow !! "

He flicked his ears as he heard some yelling going on. He padded to where he heard it and looked at at other "you are talking to a inanimate object you are aware of that right" he asked him before approaching him "you should sit down and not walk on it, if it hurts you" he told the other.

Lightening looked up at the other Cat, silence stuck him for a couple of seconds .... " I am fine, and yeees i know it is an inanimate object. Some one is awfully Posh, using big words on me, implying that i dont know what it means ? hmm . i am just fine " he turns his back on the other cat and walks off, but not before falling back to the ground with his injured paw, holding back a tear in his eye he shook his head.

Astro shook his head "i wasn't implying that you didn't know what it means" he answered. He shook his head and padded in front of him and put a paw in front to stop him "i'm serious, you aren't going to get very far with your injured paw" he answered.

Lightening looked at this new comer and stared at him " OHHH and i suppose you are going to try and stop me ? hmm i can do as i damn well please " he looks at his paw and starts to think to himself ' god dammit why me? hm i am such an idiot ' he shook his head and looked towards the ground and attempted to pull himself back up onto his feet, as his legs began to shake furiously. his stubborness getting the best of him, he never knew when to stop

Astro shook his head again "well, no I wasn't trying to stop you. I'm just offering you some advice" he told him. "but fine if you won't take my advice and push yourself with that possibly broken or sprained paw, that's fine with me" he stated before starting to walk down the pathway.

Lightening watched as the boy he never got a name from left. When he saw that he wa sout of sight he lay back down on the ground. " if only i could use my wings, i am not strong enough to use them dammit. i hate being this way i am sure he was perfectly nice" he looked at his paw as it began to swell up, ' damn i overdid it' lightening looked at the sky as it slowly began to get darker, he rested his head on the ground as he noticed a nearby rain cloud coming in his direction, " hope that kid got home ok" , just abit of rain he thought to himself

Astro shook his head, he was one of those people who wanted to help people he didn't know. But he paused and decided that maybe providing him with a name was a good idea. He shook his head once again 'I wish...I wasn't such a good person'. He turned and padded over to where the other was. "I figured it was nice to give you a name. So, my name is Astro" he said.

"you ... dont give up do you ? what is wrong with you why are you so nice ? huh why are you nice to total strangers , what is i was a werido huh ? what if i attacked you " he began to growl and cough really badly " gr huck huck .. ble .. gr huh " he babbled as he tried to gasp for air, and cleared his throat.. " well ... that didn't go acording to plan. ligthening " is all he said before looking up at the rain cloud about to pour over them

"I 'm just trying to be nice. Nothing is wrong with me I just like helping complete strangers. You don't seem like a weirdo to me" he told him. "nice to meet you Lightning" he said before shaking his head. "is it a crime to be nice to people I just meet?" he asked him.

lightening looked at astro.. he stared for abit before asking "why ? " nothing else but that seeped from his mouth, he tries to crawl through the muddy path to try get the the trees for shelter as the rain begins to shower over the area he uses his back legs and one good paws and scraps himself a couple inches before giving up covered in mud

Astro shrugged "because its the way I am" he said before looking up at the sky covered in rain clouds and helps Lightening move to the trees for shade from the rain. "you had better home, no lightning bolts decide to strike the tree you are under" he said pushing the covered in mud lightening over to the shade of trees.
