 "Yes, this will do nicely." The wildly marked, blue lioness sighed contently as she studied the edge of the dense forest. Blue stripped ears canted forward to catch the noises the had began to fill the night air, reassuring her that nothing dangerous was lurking just beyond sight. The land was a new and strange one to her, but when she had set forth from the warm comfort of her family's home she knew, she would encounter many strange new lands and ways.
"Well no time like the present!" Mapiya had taken to talking to herself some days ago when her sister had split off leaving Mapiya finally alone. Six sibling had set out from their pride's lands, each searching for a new home untll at last Piya had found one.
Picking up her pace, she headed for the cool comfort that she knew would be waiting beneath the massive tree's canopy. True the night air was cooler than it had been for most the day, but it would be even cooler there in the darkness. Many might fear what could be hidden in the dark recesses of the jungle, but to Mapiya it was just another adventure.

She flicked her hair out of her eyes before she started to trot out of the dense lands. She wanted to take a moment to relax and be by herself but if she hung around in the jungle there was bound to be one or two people who would hunt her down and find her and bother her and well at the moment she wasn't up for that.
She paused for a moment before looking over to the side, there was a lioness there she was mostly blue and that was good there was some white and some black on her but it wans't bad at all. she paused before a friendly smile grew on her lips. She trotted over to the other lioness and nodded. "well hello there!" She chuckled slightly before flicking her hair ouf of her eyes. "I just thought that I'd let you know that you are at the borders of our pridelands." She smiled slightly making sure that the lioness had a fair warning.

Mapiya jumped when the lioness seemed to appear out of thin air then laughed softly at herself for being so startled. When the other lionness offered a friendly smile, Piya returned the gesture nodding, "I do apologize about the trespassing. I have recently left my own lands to see what kind of future the Great mother has in store for me."
She closed her eyes taking a deep breath of the forest air, sighing with pleasure as she exhaled, "You are blessed to call such a wondrous place your home." Her gold eyes were bright as she looked to the other female, a playful grin dancing on her muzzle, "I don't suppose by any chance your pride might welcome another lover of the deep woods?" Her tone was teasing but serious as well.

Zelt'zin arched a small brow at the lioness a larger grin growing on her face as she realized what she was talking about. She was seriously curious on if the lioness knew where she was. It sounded like she did. "Ah, no worries you are not trespassing." She let the idea of it roll off her shoulders, she knew that she was going to welcome the lioness into the pride if she trespassed or not. Something about the lioness just seemed to know enough of the pride to make Zelt happy.
She flicked her hair out of her eyes then nodded a the lioness and an even bigger grin grew on her face. "You know of the mother goddess eh?" she asked before grinning ear to ear. "Ewya? We always welcome other Navi." She grinned and then giggled some at the idea. something about it amused her. she was glad to find new joining members.

"Ah sorry if I misled you there, I am not one of your people, well not yet anyway." Her gold eyes were gentle and bright, " Your pride calls her Ewya? My kin and I have never named her so, just called her Mother but I imagine many of our teachings will be the same."
She took a deep breath, drawing the rich scents into her lungs as she let her eyes close, savoring the smells. The rich loam of the forests undergrowth, the heavy mist that filled the air, and under it all the dark heady earth itself. It smelled like home.

Zelt's grin turned into a wild smile. The thing this lioness was talking about she knew so well of herself and she was excited to find a member making her way home. Zelt purred quietly as she pawed at the liones sand then nodded at her. "Welcome home sister." She nodded at the idea, happy that she found a member wandering and looking for her home. "Our teaching's are the same."
"My name is Zelt'zin." She said simply at first before chuckling. "I'm the head priestess of the pride."

Mapiya's smile grew even more at being called sister, oddly enough the other lioness -did- feel like kin."It is an honor to be welcomed home by one who speaks for the mother Zelt'zin." Her golden eyes were bright as the two lionesses turned back towards the woods.
"Please tell me more, what can one do to help her family?" She was eager to earn her place among her new family. Her mother had always taught her to earn her keep and Mapiya had every intention of doing so.

For the pride everyone was brother or sister Zelt always love the pride because of that, everyone was more of a family rather then any thing else. it was a lot nice to be considered family then anything else. She flicked her hair out of her eyes before, she then looked back at the lioness as she trotted. She knew the the forest inside and out so she could take her minds off of what was in front of her for a few moments. "I'm just the same as the rest of you." She chuckled a little bit before turning back in front of her speeding up a little bit.
"It's kind of hard to explain I guess. I'm more then sure you can find some way to fit in! Everyone does." She laughed a little bit before continuing. "I'll take you to the dens and then once you get used to the pride you can come to me and tell me what you're interested in."

Piya's laugh was easy and infectious as she paced by Zeit's side deeper into the forest. Already she could feel the love and the welcome, something she hadn't felt in the many months since she left her own people to find a new home.
She closed her golden eyes and took a deep breath before letting it out and a happy rumble. Yes, this was defiantly home now. She smiled over at Zeit, knowing the other lioness would understand how she felt without words. Without turning to look back, Piya happily followed her new sister towards the heart of what would be her final home.
