Marcus' penthouse is located in a re-fitted apartment on a nice stretch of oceanfront on St. Eva's premiere coastline.
And, as of now, it's the base for the fledgling resistance against the keepers. I'll post more details about the place as they come to mind... As for now, the relevant bits are the fact that there's rooms for all, and a pool across the hall from the Resitance's penthouse.
Oh, and the building's secured access. So you need a number to get in.

Roxanna stepped back into the main room. Her hair was still wet from the pool and she was toting a blue bathing suit and a long cotton towel. She held a solemn look on her face as she walked inside, a bit of tension in her eyes. She'd had enough of listening for the mean time. The weight of everything she overheard bearing down hard on her shoulders.
She moved towards the kitchen, not bothering to hide her intentions as she opened the liqueur cabinet and began shuffling through the items to find her preferred selection.

"Little early, don't you think?" Sam grumbled, his head still resting on the counter.

Roxanna glanced at Sam. She wanted to let out a noise of frustration, but instead held it in, her hand clamping around the towel as she used it to absorb some of the drops of water still falling from her hair. "It's late afternoon, Samuel. And you aren't one to be talking much, are you?"
She bit down on her lip and picked out a fancy labeled bottle written in French, along with one of Marcus's crystal glasses. "Sorry. I shouldn't snap. Things are just tense."
She moved over to the counter, placing the glass on top. "Has Jeffery come back at all?"

Sam shrugged, sitting up. "Dunno, haven't seen him today. Figured he was out with the others."
Jarred smiled in the adjacent room, watching the news. "No, he hasn't come back since you chased him out."

Lou looked to Roxanna, waiting for the others to finish before he spoke. "Do you want me to find him? Worry is natural. I can bring either him, or news concerning him, back."

Maya trudged through the door, looking weary. "It is HOT outside." she declaired as she fell into a couch. After a moment, she stood up and removed her trenchcoat. "I suppose wearing that thing doesn't help." With a sigh of content, Maya lowered herself onto the couch and kicked her feet up on a nearby footstool. ___ Elsewhere, Maria sprang to life. She charged out of the room she had been passed out in, only to grind to a halt. "Oh....Sorry guys. I thought I was somewhere else..." she mumbled.

Roxanna groaned slightly as she downed the liquid in her glass. She savored the burn, glad of the soft numbing that followed. "I was afraid of that," She said in response to Jarred.
she glanced towards the room wit the television, noticing Jarred's smile, "You seem oddly cheery about it....and oddly cheery in general."
"Hmm, maybe later, Lou. Give the man some time to steam. He may end up coming back himself, who knows." Roxanna shrugged, "or he could be pissed off enough not to bother with us again, but that'd be somewhat surprising."

"I don't think he's going to turn us in because Roxanna yelled at him, Lou." Jarred nodded over at the large man. "Well, other than him being gone, things seem to be going well. At least, we haven't heard word of them going poorly, I'm sure you would have told us."
He shrugged. "But the police haven't issued a report with all of us as wanted fugitives or a man hunt for us, so I'd say we're doing alright."
Sam grunted. "Speak for yourself."

Roxanna placed her glass back against the counter, "Oh yes, I'd have told you. By the way, things are going poorly. Kat and the others might have gotten some additional help, might. We won't know until sometime tomorrow. It's also been eerily quiet elsewhere. I don't like quiet. At least not when it's the type before the storm."
She raised her eyebrow, glancing over to Sam, "Are you all right?"

"Additional help is never a bad thing, might or not." Jarred nodded, turning around to face them, the news turning to replay the story of a car flipping a few days ago. "Where did they go? I'm feeling a bit cooped up, and I can always try and be persuasive."
"Sure, we've all got a price on our heads now," Sam answered, looking around the room. "Well, those of us that they know of, but now my parents put every honest cop and good Samaritan on my tail, looking for their lost damn kid."
"Least it means they're still doing alright, kid."

"Can't recall where it was, or what it was," Roxanna admitted with a soft sigh, "However there was a good amount dishwater and dish noises, I assume it was a restaurant of sorts." She felt a smile tug at her lips but held it back. "Cooped up, Jarred?"
"as for you Sam, that does complicate things indeed. But it can be dealt with. At least the cops on your tail aren't going to shoot you. Unless they're on the other side, of course." Roxanna gave her glass a small flick with her finger, listening to the small pinging sound before she stepped away from the counter. "Hopefully Kat and the rest are on their way back."

Lou remained silent, then raised an eyebrow. "Marcus is trading himself to these other supers in exchange for more supers with combative powers," The zombie looked genuinely surprised, "That is interesting."

"I should say so. Laying low isn't as much fun as I thought." Jarred smiled, though it dimmed as he glanced over at Lou. "Trading himself? What the hell are they doing over there?"

(if Kat was present, she'd probably smack him for that comment. >.>)
Roxanna raised her eyebrow at Lou, "What? Trading? I don't recall hearing this?"
