Natalya held out her digital camera as she chased after a big zebra butterfly. "Oh come on." She whispered as the insect kept moving away. Couldn't she get lucky and get a shot of it hovering right above one of the flowers? Apparently not this time.
Frowning she watched as it flew far above her short height and behind the trees. "Well better luck next time." She whispered before turning away from the street. Talking about luck...what could she find to take pictures of? She couldn't go to the beach, already her computer was full of the ocean and other pictures from the ice skating rink. She needed somewhere new, somewhere different...
The preteen twirled around and smiled as she saw the park. Maybe there would be some nice oppurtunities there. At least she knew the fountains and flowers wouldn't fly away. Holding her camera close, Tally started walking.

Iah was sitting on a bench in the middle of the park, watching from a safe distance as other people went about doing their thing. It was a hobby that he'd picked up only recently, to go around people watching like this. One of his two toned tentacles was wrapped around his shoulders in the manner of a scarf while the other one was coiled up on his lap like a snake. One of his hands was petting over the one on his lap as he knew he was still making it up to them that he'd gotten them tied behind his back earlier in the week so that he could have fun without them interfering.
They weren't happy with him but he had slowly been making it up to them by doing his best not to cross anymore lines with the aggressive limbs. It had been worth it thought, to be able to enjoy himself for the time he had while they were bound. It wasn't really something he planned to do again... unless he got another fun invitation out that brought him to a place that wouldn't be conducive to them getting to move around freely.
The two tentacles seemed to sense the presence of the other spawn before Iah seemed to notice that she was nearby. They tensed up before both of them rose up and set to doing their writhing 'snake dance' that was their way of telling strangers to 'stay back'. When they started to dance Iah was instantly looking around to try to spot what it was that had them on edge.

Tally's camera flashed once again as she took another sky shot. Those shots should make at least a couple of pretty backgrounds for her desktop. She sighed. What was she kidding? She really needed to find something better to do. And it wasn't like the sky would give her any answers.
It was about then that she noticed the boy on the bench. Something was writhing around him and she had to squint even as she came closer to see exactly what the moving things were. "Oh." Tentacles. Tally was familiar with such things since her sister Lissy was a lust spawn - but the boy's looked different. And something about them made Tally wince. Were they trying to scare her away?
Pfft. The small preteen felt like it was nothing. After all her home had been invaded by a raging wrath spawn and his creepy twin. Nothing in her eyes had beat them yet. Taking another step closer, just so she was close enough to reach out and poke the tentacles - yet far enough away that they couldn't exactly hit her, Tally waved to the boy. "Hey there. Do your tentacles act like this often? Or is there something off about me?" She asked with a small frown.

Iah looked over at the pretty girl standing in front of him before he gave the slightest wince at her question, "T-They are l-like this all t-the t-time." He told her, reaching out to wrap his arms around them and pulled them closer to him to try to keep them from attacking her as he could tell they were about to do just that, "I-Its not j-ust you." He tried to reassure her as he pushed up to his feet.
As he rose one of the two wrapped itself around his middle tightly and possessively, taking on the defensive position while the second one remained on alert. It allowed for Iah to hug it at the moment without incident because the girl wasn't coming to close and Iah wasn't getting to close to her.

"Oh really?" Tally gave a small sigh of relief before laughing softly, "They must be really protective of you then." Her gaze locked onto the tentacles and she even gave them a slight wave. "But I'm glad. I was worried there for a second and we hadn't even met yet!"
Tucking back a stray bang, Tally smiled. "You know. This is the first time I've come to the park in a while. Usually I'm at the beach or downtown." Her antenna flashed bravely as she nodded, "Do you come here often?"
"I mean...I mean since I've never seen you before at any of the other places...that...um." She flushed lightly. Now that was a lame question. Really, did she just ask him something like that? Shaking her head, Tally gave Iah a sheepish look. "Anyways I'm Natalya."
