Grind. Griiiiind. Swoosh. Grind. Swoosh. Swoosh. Griiiiiiind.

The sounds of claw against stone was hardly a pleasant one for any nearby, but Ania had long since become immune to it... Or, perhaps it simple wasn't as horrible for her because she was the one causing the sounds? The young lioness was currently hard at work in an 'amazing' mock-battle with a stationary boulder. She dashes around it frantically, dodging left and right to duck under it's 'attacks' before savagely slashing her claws against the rough surface.

She'd kept this up a good part of her morning, but finally it was time to finish her foe!

With a final leap, claws extended, she landed on top of her 'great enemy' to delivery the last blow, which sent out one more horribly shriek of claws grinding against stone sounding through the empty area. A pleased smirk curled onto her lips as she settled down onto her stomach on top of the defeated foe, far too pleased with her job well down. But there was nothing wrong with a bit of pride in her work, now was there? It was just a shame no one had seen her heroic fight!

Ah, but someone was indeed watching. Kejeli had padded up sometime ago, mildly curious over the racket being made. He was relatively unsurprised to see a sibling of his. They seemed to be everywhere he looked. He knew logically that this was not so, but it also wasn't something he savored. His fellow littermates were a chaotic bunch, varying widely in personality and tendancies. He made it a habit to hold himself apart, however.

He had found a reasonably comfortable spot to sit and watch his sister perform her odd dance of what he supposed she considered death. In his opinion, she might be fooling herself, but was fooling noone else. She was too small and too puny to be of any sort of effectiveness at tearing into a true enemy.

She finished her bizarre display and sprawled atop the rock, panting heavily. He made a vague sound of derision, lifting one paw to clean a speck of sand from one of his toes. "Proud of yourself, are you?" he inquired in detatched mocking. It was clear from his tone he found her actions entirely pointless and ridiculous.
