So... after my previous announcement...

I went to bed immediately after sending it out on Saturday, but by 11 p.m my condition had deteriorated to the point where heading to the emergency room seemed a viable choice. Instead, there was a midnight dash to my mum's house 5 mins away (iunno if I could've handled a longer distance @_@), and I've been in bed there ever since. Heading to the doctor today.

I honestly can't even say what's wrong with me at this point, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens today. Thanks to Sinder for his well-wishes regarding my health.

Glad to see the guild has been active in my absence. Also, would like to remind everyone that the deadline for the new mod comp is this Friday. I know you guys (minus Bapp) are having trouble stepping up to the plate, so to take pressure off people (esp. Fel, sorry Fel!) to enter I went ahead and came up with an alternative which you all may find intriguing... if not preferable to having a whole new unfamiliar character step in and take over. (BIG HINT RIGHT THAR!)

It's kind of one of my infamous 5 a.m ideas, much like the explosion - potentially devastating, slightly insane, but thoroughly awesome. My 5 a.m ideas haven't let the guild down yet!

Also, everyone take a look at Bapp's awesome thingy! Just seeing it made me feel so much better when I logged on. Credit where credit's due, and Bapp is truly an irreplaceable member of our team. (Even if he's thwarted in his every attempt to grasp at true power.)

EDIT: Oh, also, welcome to our new member... whose name now escapes me. Blast. However, suffice to say, we have a new member: a girl who seems very sweet from her little introduction in her join request. Haven't had a new member in a while, so... if you're out there, welcome to you o3o

I don't know x___x I honestly don't know anymore. Saturday night I had a temperature, nausea, was crying out and moaning with these aches all through my body. Heart thundering, fluttering, dizziness at intervals, trouble swallowing... and like before, I just feel soooo fatigued x___x

The symptoms all match up to hypotension, but I honestly have no idea anymore. We'll have to see what the doctor says and see if I can get any medication so I can be sure to cope with my exams...

Auuuu I'm heading offline now, maybe I'll go back to bed. I'd LIKE to do some more writing *been doing a little bit*, but I can't take this x___x

Actually, maybe I should make a quick post with Lorika and Lacine before I go, just to move things on for that pair.

hmm...isn't hypotension the opposite of hypertension? And doesn't salt elevate blood pressure?

Does Lorika need salt pills?

Wait...

Back from the doctor. Basically he agreed that I probably did have dips into low blood pressure partially thanks to my dehydration that caused the symptoms, but didn't give me anything for that. He said that the reason things were so bad this time was the attack appears to have been compounded by one of the nasty viruses going around. (Which I have a sneaking suspicion I caught off my history teacher...)

Basically his concern was to get me through my exams, so he gave me tablets for the nausea and aching and left it at that.

I'm still a little worried, though. I know I'm a hypochondriac, but our family doctor is always sooooo laaaaid baaaack. I think he must spend a lot of time in Hawaii judging by his tan. It just worries me, because every time this has happened it's interfered tremendously with my work for the better part of a week or more at a time... =o=

Eh, I'm never too worried about my exams except the day/night before. I have the right kind of memory for exams.

Unfortunately "re-tests" aren't viable here, as everything is external examinations... sweatdrop So the pressure is on, really. I mean, these qualifications are going to sit with me for life, and if I CAN get straight As (which I already have gotten so far and am expected to continue getting), I wouldn't like to settle for something below just because I was feeling wonky on the day, you know?

It's only history I'm really worried about. Goddamn history. So much s**t to remember it even overpowers MY memory x__x No wonder it's still considered the hardest subject at A-level... =o= Honestly, I've been wishing I'd taken Latin or Art instead.
