Sungura had a pit in his stomach. It'd been there for several days now, and he wasn't quite sure why. All he really knew is that every time he thought of that blue lioness cub and her genet pet it showed up, and he wanted to know why, but felt awkward about asking his father. So he decided to turn to the next best person; his sister, Kipofu.
Recently Kipofu had found a pet-friend of her own who served as her eyes for her, and though he felt jealous about the fact that he was no longer Kipofu's only way of seeing, Sungura couldn't help but feel happy for her, and happy for himself. He was able to go off on his own from time to time now without worrying too much about his sister falling into holes, or getting into trouble, and she was able to go off on her own without needing him constantly.
Sungura still needed her most of the time though. She was his backbone, and though her grew a very tiny one on his trips out by himself, it just wasn't enough.
"Kipofu~!" Sungura called, wanting to know where his beloved and smart sister was, "Kipofu where are you?"

Kipofu was actually without Nasiha for the moment. Though the odd ratel often served as her eyes, there were times where she insisted on learning to get around by herself. She knew Nasiha probably wasn't all that far off...but she was making her way all by herself for the moment! She carefully felt out the ground in front of her, making sure it was solid before stepping fully on it.
Her ears perked and pale eyes blinked when she heard a familiar voice. Oh! It was her brother! Kipofu did so love her brother, even when he was being silly and skittish. She giggled and called back.
"Over here, Sungara!" She bounced a little, hoping that would make her easier to see. "Over here!"

Sungura heard his sister's voice almost instantly and quickly bounced his way towards her. He was sure she would have the answer to his question, as she was a girl, and therefore instinctively knew things that he did not. When he got close enough to her he quickly noticed that Kipofu's natel, Nasiha, was nowhere nearby and began to worry.
"Kipofu, where is Nasiha? What happened if you got hurt? Or fell in a hole?" He asked, panicked, inspecting his sister to make sure she was ok. "I don't see any boo-boo's."

Kipofu giggled. "I'm fine! Nasiha's probably not far off, since I can still kinda smell him." She smiled brightly. "I told him I needed a little time without him. So I can learn to get around when you and he aren't around!"
She leaned towards her brother's voice and scent, trying to nuzzle him. "Don't worry so much, Sungara."

Sungura quickly pulled him to his sister for nuzzles and licks. He loved her so, she was his precious sister and he couldn't imagine the world without her. The happy cubby cuddle-fest lasted for a couple moments before Sungura seated himself upon the ground and pawed at it for his sister to join him.
"Sister, I have a question for you," He said, wondering how to approach the subject. I mean it wasn't hard at this point for him to explain his feelings to everyone. He was a cub and therefore allowed to cry and whine and say people made him sad or happy as much as he wanted; however, he wasn't quite sure how he was supposed to explain this.
"I met this girl a couple days ago. Her name is Kizi and she's very pretty, nice and blue." Sungura said, forgetting for a moment that his sister did not know what blue was, "And everytime she comes to mind I feel all weird in my tummy. Like I ate bad things."

Kipofu giggled and snuggled her brother back. Even though she loved her Grammy and Mommy and Daddy and all their aunts and uncles and cousins...no one could hold a candle to how much she loved her brother. After all, they'd shared their mother's womb, and were the first creatures each other knew!
She blinked when he said he had a question, tilting her head a bit curiously, listening. Sungura had something he couldn't figure out?
When he told her, she frowned a bit. "She sounds very nice...but the tummy thing doesn't sound so good." She kneaded at the ground a bit, thinking. "I'unno. Maybe Mommy or one of the Mlisha would know? 'Cause all I can think of is maybe Kizi accidentally got you sick."

Kizi got him sick? Well that was no good. Sungura didn't want to get sick every time that Kizi was around, because than he and Kizi couldn't play together like the best friends they were supposed to be. Or at least the best friends he thought they were supposed to be. He made a face and pawed at the dirt in the sam fashion his sister did. Maybe she was right, he should go ask Mommy why his tummy was feeling funny every time he went near Kizi, or Grammy. Mommy first, than Grammy.
"I hope Kizi didn't get me sick. We're supposed to meet at the tree by the pride borders so we an play together. She'd be sad if I didn't show up..." He muttered.

Kipofu pat his paw, smiling slightly. "If she did, maybe she won't anymore. Maybe she got all better too? I don't want your friend to be sad. That wouldn't be very good. Not at all." She drooped a bit, smile fading a little. "It's nice that you have a best friend, Sungara."

Sungura noticed the drop in his sister's smile immediately and frowned openly, knowing she was unable to see it. It made him feel guilty that he had a friend, he knew how hard it was for Kipofu to be able to take part in anything without the other's joining them to worry about her tripping, falling or getting hurt in any way. He sighed quietly and scooted up to his sister, giving her a nuzzle and a lick to make her feel better.
"Would you like to meet her, Sister? I'm sure Kizi would love you just as much as I do!" Sungura said, a little pep in his voice at the prospect of introducing his sister to his friend, which he hoped would in turn become a friend of her's. He'd very much like to spend more time with Kipofu and Kizi together.

The tan cub perked immensely at that. Meet her brother's best friend? That was something she'd certainly LOVE to do! She nodded vigorously, blind eyes closing simply to keep from being jostled around by the action. "I would very much like to meet her!" She leaned to return his nuzzle, grinning. "If she's your friend, I bet she's really awesome."

"When I met her by the tree next, I'll bring her back with me into the pride for the day and we can all play," Sungura said with a smile. He was already excited by this prospect and wished he was seeing Kizi tomorrow, but wait... Did he have to ask if she could come into the pride? He didn't know, maybe he should go ask Daddy about it later on.
"Let's go play in the shallow part of the stream, Kipofu. We can roll around in the mud and make Mommy give us baths afterwards," Sungura said with a purr. Sure he was being a little naughty at the moment, but he loved when Taswira gave him baths, and it made him all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Sure, he liked when Set gave baths too, but Daddy always did it quickly and he was left wanting more bath time.

Kipofu giggled. "Don't forget to ask Grandma and Uncle Enzi's permission!" Oooooo~ She couldn't wait to meet his friend! Sure, she was blind...but that didn't mean she couldn't be friendly! She hoped his friend had a nice scent.
She put a paw out, pointing in a random to direction. "To the stream! So we can have Mommy-baths!" She liked her mother's baths too. It was time that was all to them and Mommy, no one else.
