Fitzroy drummed his three fingers impatiently as he glued his ear to the phone. His eyes scanned the number Aludra had given him. He wasn't able to shake the fear that it wasn't correct. Aludra certainly had looked at him funny when he asked for Iah's number.
To Fitzroy's relief, someone picked up the line on the other end. Licking at his lips nervously, he tried to keep the nerves out of his voice as he spoke.
"H-Hello? Th-This is Fitzroy. Is Iah there?"
There was a long and drawn out silence as the one that picked up the other end of the line, a very over protective Duncan, listened to Fitzroy as he introduced himself. He found himself debating on what his answer was going to be but decided as much as he didn't like that one's Father for being as much of a ditz as he appeared to be he wouldn't punish his son for it.
"I suppose I could get him for you." Duncan said at long last, his voice wasn't exactly the most friendly one in the world. There was the sound of the phone being set down on the counter before he headed off to find his son who was, as per usual, hiding out in his room. He looked in at the boy who was seeming to look more and more unsure of himself as the say passed as he sat on his bed seeming to be unwilling to really do to terribly much as he didn't want to worry people or hurt them. He'd grown again which mean his tentacles had grown again. Them growing meant more of a range on them, more strength in them, and their possessiveness had gotten worse.
"Iah, phone call for you." Duncan said in a nicer tone then was used with Fitzroy.
The boy looked up at him before nodding, moving carefully out of his room, trying to scoot around his father so that he wouldn't get hit before he hurried to where the phone was waiting, "H-Hello...?" He whispered, confused as to why anyone would be calling someone like him.
Fitzroy gulped audibly when he heard Mr. Duncan's voice over the phone. The man still sounded very irritable, and while that usually didn't bother Fitzroy, it was the last thing he wanted to hear when he was pretty much asking Iah out.
Except, of course, that it totally wasn't a date.
The Gluttony boy breathed a sigh of relief when Duncan finally relented, and couldn't help bouncing when he heard Iah's voice soon after.
"Hey, Iah. It's, uh, it's Fitzroy." He fiddled with a fork on the counter as he spoke, somehow just as nervous as he'd been with Duncan, although a different kind of nervous.
"Uh, well, I-I was just wondering if you'd be interested in s-seeing a movie this afternoon. It-It's, uh, Legion." The fidgeting only got worse. "Would that be okay with you? I'll p-pay and stuff."
There was another drawn out silence though this one was from Iah instead of Duncan, "You... you w-wanna... w-with me?" He asked in a hushed voice, sounding a bit confused and more then a little surprised. He looked at each of his tentacles which seemed almost to be hovering, trying to figure out what was going, "Umm... w-why? I-I mean I am n-not really... a good person to hang around with... m-my tentacles are v-very... mean and they can be worse now."
He swallowed hard as the pair seemed to be wiggling in a manner that almost seemed to be pleased that they had their boy so cowed by their presence, "I... I want to go b-but I... I have grown again which m-means that they have..." He whispered, not wanting the tentacles to know how worried about them he was but they seemed to pick up on it and were only that much more pleased with themselves.
Fitzroy laughed awkwardly at Iah's stuttered questions, unable to see them as anything less than adorable. "Heh, yeah, with you. Th-That's why I'm calling you and not someone else." He laughed again.
However, the laugh faded when he was reminded of Iah's twin problems. Teeth gently bit at his lower lip as he racked his brain to come up with a solution. Ordinarily, he'd feel okay simply taking the abuse, but from the sounds of it, they were a lot bigger than Sutry. A lot more vicious, too.
"Ummm... We could use a bike lock or-or some duct tape or a... I dunno, something like that." he ended lamely. "Of course, th-that'd probably look silly. But regardless, d-do you wanna go?"
Iah's trio of eyes got wide before he set to giggling, lifting one hand up to smother his laugh at the suggestion that was given to him about what they could do about his tentacles, "T-That would n-nice if w-worked." He said in a happy manner. The idea of having them bound in such a manner so that he was allowed to have fun and let the pair of them be miserable for a while had him rather perked up.
"I-If we can figure out a w-way to m-make it work I w-would love to go." He murmured, in fact the idea of getting to go out to a place like that would be a lot of fun since he'd never been to such a place before. There was the touch of excitement in his voice which the tentacles didn't seem to like since the pair were now attempting their damnedest to take the phone away but he was bending forward and dodging around to try to protect it.
"W-When? W-When d-did we want t-to go?" He asked as he tried to dance around, doing his best to twist, turn, and avoid his tentacles.
A broad grin broke across Fitzroy's at Iah's reply, and he swore he could have started dancing on the spot. The glee was obvious in his voice as he replied.
"Uh, uh, it's- it's in just a few hours. My, uh, dad can pick you up and bring you back, if that's okay with your dad..."
"M-Maybe... I c-can ask him..." He wasn't sure what his Father would think about that but he really hoped that he would be allowed to go and play with his friend, "I w-will see you s-soon then." He told him. He remembered him coming to his house so he was sure that they knew where to find him. He sounded a bit excited as he hung up the phone and went racing off to find clean clothing to put on.

It was only with the strongest restraint that Fitzroy didn't laugh stupidly when Iah said that he could go. Driving his knuckles into his mouth instead, Fitzroy danced a silly little jig of happiness before gaining enough calm to respond to the spawn on the other end. "Ah, uh, ah, okay!! Uh, soon! See you soon, right, yeah. Bye!" The boy hung up a little too exuberantly, then giggled like a stupid person and raced around the house, shouting at the top of his lungs. "DAD IAH CAN GO BUT WE NEED TO FIND MY BIKE LOCK HAVE YOU SEEN IT?"
Caspian nearly fell off of his chair at the unholy volume of his son's voice, but let it slide. He was happy that Fitzroy had managed to ask his friend out on this date; from what he'd observed, it was mostly Adelle leading Fitzroy around otherwise. However, one part of his son's request confused him, and he nimbly grabbed hold of his collar as the Liberality boy darted about. "Okay, okay, woah now. What kind of date are you going on that means you need a bike lock?"
Caspian bit back a laugh at the indignant and flushed look on Fitzroy's face, giggling behind his hand as his son whined. "DAAAAAAAAD~! I told you, it's NOT a date! We're just friends! And Iah needs it so his tentacles don't beat everything up!"
The pizza shop owner was still laughing when he released his son, pointing to a closet in the hall. "Haha, oh, th-that makes sense. I think it's in there." Caspian waited until he was out of arm's reach before adding, "Be ready for your date in ten minutes!"
---
About half an hour later, and after getting lost once, Caspian pulled up outside Iah's house. Fitzroy was as dolled up as he could get away with, in a very dapper black-and-white pinstripe suit with matching fedora, Pac-man nomming moodily at the suspenders. Despite how excited he was, Fitzroy couldn't help but gulp at the daunting task before him, and it took him what felt like the longest minute of his life to get to the front door. Trying to disguise his nervous trembling, he pushed the doorbell twice, bouncing up and down on his heels as he fervently hoped that Iah, and not Duncan for once, answered the door.

Due to safety concerns, or at least Duncan's over protective mine that was, the wrath spawn was the one who opened up the door to when the doorbell rang. He looked around for a moment before his gaze lowered to looking at Fitzroy who was all dressed up, "I thought you were going to the movies." He said, he seemed awfully dressed up for movie going he thought to himself in a suspicious manner. He set to looking around again and noticed that his father was no where to be seen and he found himself trying to decide if that he were a good thing for not. The guy annoyed Duncan greatly but he thought it would be nice since his kid was asking Iah out.
Duncan prickled that much more before his stare was turned upon Fitzroy once more, "You had best behave yourself, keep your hands and mouths to yourself, or else." He threatened before stepping back to let Iah through when he heard the youngest among the three of them approaching.
He looked between his Dad and Fitzroy as though he were trying to figure out what they were doing before his three eyes turned to look at Fitzroy in a very shy manner, "H-Hello." He greeted his friend, one hand lifting to run his fingers through his hair in a nervous manner. Having someone call to see if he wanted to come out was new, it left him having no idea what to think, say, or do... and now that he looked Fitzroy over he found himself wondering if he'd misunderstood the invitation... he felt really under dressed since a the moment what he wore consisted of a blue and black striped belly shirt that left his tentacles roam more easily, black capri style pants, and slip on shoes since they made life a step easier, "S-Should... Should c-change?" He asked, fidgeting a bit where he stood.

Fitzroy bit back a few swears when the red-skinned man answered the door once again. That is, he liked Duncan well enough, even if he was a little moody, but for once could he just, like, be gone? It was as if he never left his house. Still, he couldn't afford at this point to be rude, and showed his teeth nervously. "Oh, I-I p-p-p-plan on it, Mr. D-Duncan, sir. Don't worry, n-no hands or mouths are g-g-gonna to do anything." He resisted the urge to salute with some difficulty.
Fitzroy's face lit up when he saw Iah, and took half a step forward. However, Duncan's presence kept Fitzroy from hugging his friend like he wanted to (the tentacles helped too), so he merely fidgeted with his hair. At the boy's question, he glanced nervously at his outfit, a blush beginning to decorate his cheeks. "Ah, uh, n-no... You're-You're fine; th-this is how I dress f-for everything. If anything, I-I'm over-dressed..." he ended with an awkward laugh.
Turning back to Duncan, he unnecessarily straightened himself, nibbling on his lip as he tried to find the words. "Uh, uh, s-so I guess we'll be going now. Um, I- I mean, me and my dad will h-h-have Iah back by, uh... Uh, probably around nine or t-t-ten. If, if that's alright..."

All three of Duncan's eyes starred at Fitzroy before he turned his attention to Iah, "You know our number, if there are any problems." He looked pointedly at the tentacles, "Call and I will come to get you."
Iah looked to either side of him where the two extra limbs that seemed to be at the root of all of his problems before he slowly nodded, "I-I... I w-will." He whispered, reaching his arms up to catch hold of them, hugging them to his chest as he started forward though that seemed only to make the tentacles suspicious. One of them, the one that was most often on defense wrapped itself around Iah's shoulders, draping over his shoulders like a snake. The second one merely looked as though it were on the offensive.
The young spawn who bore two sins in his blood he looked up at his father for a moment more before he turned to follow after Fitzroy. They were going out for a while and it was a new adventure for Iah, something he looked forward.

Fitzroy watched rather meekly as parent and child spoke, still focused on not making too many waves. It wouldn't do him any good if Duncan decided that he wasn't good enough to be Iah's... friend.
When the two entered Caspian's car, the driver giving Iah a friendly smile, Fitzroy suddenly remembered something. Smiling wide, he reached down below one of the seats to draw out a bike lock. The grin turned apologetic as he turned to Iah, watching the dangerous tentacles carefully. "Ah, uh, I-I, uh, didn't know if we were joking when we discussed this, but, uh, if you w-want, I b-brought it just in case..." Blushing furiously, he set the thing on his lap. He didn't want to be rude, but to be honest, it sounded like a pretty good idea to him.
The silence grew awkward fast, at least for Fitzroy, and he glanced out the window before turning back to Iah with a hesitant smile on his face. "So, uh, have you heard a-about Legion? As, uh, far as I could tell, it's about angels and the Apo-pocolyspe and stuff. D-Does that sound cool to you?" A sudden fear gripped his heart; what if Iah didn't like his movie? Well, well there would be other movies playing, right? Oh, but then he probably wouldn't get Iah home in time and Duncan would kill him, or worse, make it so he couldn't see Iah again!

Iah looked at the item that Fitzroy was holding, looking curious, before he gave a slight nod of his head as he looked at the tentacles that were wrapped around him. He chewed lightly on his lower lip, "N-Not sure how w-we will... g-get them t-tied though." He murmured, sounding quite certain about how they were going to be able to entangle them, "If we c-can f-figure it out it w-would be n-nice."
He glanced over at him at mention of what the movie was about before he gave a bit of a laugh, "A m-movie about angels?" He asked, that sounded kind of funny given that the two of them actually had angel blood in them, "S-Sounds like it w-will be n-neat." He wanted to see what the movie people though angels and the apocalypse was like, half curious if it was anything like what it was really like. He couldn't say himself since he'd never met an angel or demon before, not a pure blooded one at least.

Once again, Fitzroy's face lit up when Iah approved of his idea, although he had to agree with the other spawn's point. It didn't seem like it would be easy to wrangle the two feisty tentacles. Grabbing the lock again, he examined it slightly, practicing locking and unlocking the mechanism a few quick times. When he felt like he got it, he glanced up at Iah over his glasses, grinning a little mischievously. He couldn't help but already feel a little triumphed at beating the nasty tentacles. "Um, if you can get 'em together, I can probably get this around them real quick," he ventured bravely, watching the tentacles warily.
He smiled when Iah laughed, and nodded. "Yeah, it looked awesome i-in the preview I saw. Kinda gruesome, though..." Shrugging, he returned his attention back to the tentacles. "Well, shall we give it a go, then?"

Iah nodded, shifting himself so that his back was to Fitzroy which seemed to be more then enough to cause both of the limbs to rise up, turning all their attention to the gluttony spawn as though they didn't trust the fact that the boy with two mouths was behind Iah. The boy then let all of his eyes close which caused the tentacles to sway back and forth as now they were able only to sense what was around them which was something else that they didn't like. The pair seemed to wrap around each other before they set to swinging at random as a single, larger limb in an attempt to get a swing at the one that they saw as a danger, "H-Here... H-How... is t-that?" He asked, able to only feel what the pair were doing. He scooted a little closer to the car door so that it hopefully gave more room for Fitzroy to work with.
He wrapped his arms around himself tightly, trembling a little. This was the first time he'd ever done anything to really stand against them and it was a little scary. He was pretty well certain that he was going to pay for it later but for now if it worked he would be happy!
"T-That sounds... s-scary b-but... c-cool. W-We should d-definitely see it." He said, the movie sounded interesting so he wanted to see it!

Fitzroy shared in Iah's nervousness as he watched the two vicious tentacles sway menacingly. Pac-man growled back in response, and the boy wished he shared in the mouth's courage. He gulped quietly as he held the two sides of the bike lock, nodding in response to Iah's question. "Y-Yeah... It's fine..." The boy narrowed his eyes in concentration, peering into the tentacle's movements and looking for a pattern. He would probably only have one shot at this...
There, that was it! As fast as he could, Fitzroy dove and wrapped the bike lock tight around the cruel appendages. He yelped as the pair thrashed around viciously, enough so that Caspian pulled over. The Gluttony spawn growled in spurts as he wrestled with the flailing things, unintentionally tipping Iah half-over, but somehow he finally managed to get the lock around securely enough to bind them together. He leaned up quickly, smiling toothily and brushing a few bits of hair out of his face.
Scooting back, he replaced his fedora, fallen off in the scuffle, and chuckled as the tentacles thrashed, bu quite harmlessly now. Gesturing to his dad that it was safe to continue driving, he smiled excitedly at Iah. "There. Think that's going to work for now?"

Iah opened his eyes and peeked at his tangled up, bound tentacles, and he could tell by the way that they were tensing, twitching, and swishing that he was going to pay for this later... but for the moment he was happy. He smiled at Fitzroy, "Y-Yeah, t-thank you." He murmured, looking happier then he had for some time. That he was actually free to move around like this, that he could... he could... he turned to look over at his friend for a moment before he daringly reached his hand out to touch Fitzroy's arm. He could feel his tentacles struggling a bit in place but they weren't able to get at Fitzroy due to how they were tied and had to settle on the seat behind Iah in a very annoyed fashion.
When his tentacles gave up, not completely since they were stilling tensing and writing a bit in their attempts to get freed, he gave a happy sound, his cheeks flushing, "T-Thank you... F-Fitzroy." He whispered, this was the best thing ever! To be able to actually touch someone in such a manner without worry that they were going to get hurt because of him. He gave a happy smile as his fingertips ran along the other boy's arm in a manner that seemed almost curious before he gave a happy sound, "W-Wow." He sounded quite delighted over something so simple but for anyone that knew him they would understand. Iah wasn't a person that was able to touch others, he didn't touch, couldn't be touched, and despite his thirst for it he was forced to stay back.
For now though it was different and he was quite grateful to his friend for coming up with such a wonderful plan.

Fitzroy's smile only widened when he saw that his plan had worked, especially when he caught the look on Iah's face. His friend struck him as the kind of kid who didn't smile a lot, so Fitzroy was doubly happy to see the small grin on the other's face. He chuckled lightly, watching the tentacles flail helplessly with a good measure of glee. "Heh, i-it was no problem..."
His voice petered out when Iah moved to touch him, and brown eyes grew wide as he watched the other spawn be so delighted with touching him. That is, he could kind of understand why he was so happy, but it still was just... disconcerting to see someone so over the moon about just touch. When he felt his fingertips drift along his arm, Fitzroy couldn't help but blush. Goosebumps began to form on the speckled skin as he chuckled nervously, placing his hand over Iah's. "Y-Yeah, th-th-that's really something, huh..."
"Hey you two lovebirds! You ever gonna get out of the car?"
Caspian's catcall made Fitzroy practically leap across the car, snatching his hand back out of reflex and blushing harder than ever. He growled as he pushed the door open, shouting "Dang it, Dad, will you knock that off?!" at his giggling father's retreating back. With a sigh, he hopped out of the car, smiling up at Iah with a tinge of blush still coating his cheeks. "Well, it seems we're here. C'mon, let's go!"

Iah followed after Fitzroy, out of the car and stretched out all over before he looked at his displeased tentacles, "I-If you were n-nicer you w-wouldn't n-need to b-be like that." He told them, wishing that they would just be nicer then he wouldn't have to resort to such things as this. To have to tie them up seemed a bit rough but he was willing to do this if it meant he could at least have one night where he was able to enjoy himself.
He looked over at Caspian and smiled, "T-Thank you." He murmured, glad that he had been willing to come and pick him up despite the fact that it seemed like his Daddy didn't like Fitzroy's daddy for some reason that Iah didn't quite understand. He turned to trot after his friends and his tentacles were forced to deal with being tied up and deal with their boy getting far to close to that two mouth pain in the backside! One day they would show him! They lashed a bit, twisted, twitched, then gave up once more as though trying to figure out what the trick of this chain was so they could escaped. The two of them being distracted with attempting to escape meant them being less likely to bother Iah and Fitzroy, so long as they remain bound at least.

Fitzroy glanced behind him to make sure those pesky tentacles didn't give Iah any trouble, or do anything scary like figure out how to free themselves. That would certainly ruin the night. Once they got into the theater, Caspian was already there, presenting them each with tickets and a smile. "Alright kids, have fun. I'll be in the arcade if you need me. Oh, and uh, here's some food money," he added, fishing out two twenty-dollar bills from his pocket. Fitzroy snatched with a grin and raced towards the food counter, practically dragging Iah behind him.
Once the pair was there, Fitzroy dashed up to the concessions person, smile impossibly wide as he babbled off his order. "HI! Uh, uh, can I get a large popcorn and a little popcorn, both with extra butter, and uh, two of the cotton candy vats, a-and, and a large Mr. Pibb and, uh, oh, oh, Iah what do you want?" The Gluttony boy was far too excited by the prospect of food, as shown by how he bounced rapidly at the counter, Pac-man gnashing happily.

Iah looked at the money, his trio eyes going a bit wide as though he'd never seen that much before, then gave a little squeak as he was pulled along by his friend toward where he could smell the snack. The list of what was order was pretty extensive, something that made Iah's eyes get that much wider and suddenly Fitzroy was turning to him and asking what he wanted. Iah started for a moment before he lifted up a hand and set to giggling a bit, "F-Fitzroy is v-very hungry?" He asked, then looked at his gnashing second mouth that seemed as happy as the rest of the green spotted spawn before giggling more. It was just to cute to him.
He turned his attention to what was on the board before him before he chewed on his lower lip in a thoughtful manner, "Hmm... c-can I get s-some M&Ms and a s-small j-juice?" He asked, he didn't want for Fitzroy to have to spend to much of his money on him after all, he was nice enough to bring him out and get him a ticket to the movie and a snack, as such he didn't want to be to much of a burden monetarily.
