So these were the lands that had birthed his father. There was something about finally finding a place you'd pondered about in your childhood, just to find that it was very different from how you'd originally imagined everything. Certainly it was a -delightful- place, but still...
somehow he'd imagined it a lot different.
Dealing with his imaginings verse the reality of everything he'd seen thus far, however, was the extent of his problems. He'd been blessed with the opportunity to enter; to see the lands and to become a part of them. The only thing he'd found that was somewhat awkward for him was how very...
...
-naked- he was comparatively. The markings that were painted on the bodies of these other lions were something he had to marvel at.
He wanted them too. Not to the same extent, but it was part of this sense of -belonging- he was getting. It was actually rather nice, but he wouldn't do it himself. No, he'd wait until he was sure about how to go about it. Hmm.

 With his recent growth, Sela'goya Kanati and his siblings were given more privileges to wander around their clan's land. Of course, he wasn't supposed to go and intrude on any other clan's land without expressed permission (not that he wanted to at the moment) but this freedom from the den was exciting! His face lit up as he took in a deep breath. He was towards the edge of his clan's land. It felt so far to his short legs, even with his recent growth. Out of the corner of his eyes he spotted a figure. Upon closer inspection, the lion did not have any tattoos on the body. Perhaps this was a newcomer to the area that he had heard about from his parents. Apparently they were getting a few newcomers every now and then, and to think that he'd get to meet this one first! He called out to the other in greeting, "Hello!"

Well! It certainly wasn't very surprising to Hadharani to be greeted so soon (as he had grown up in a pride for some time), but by someone so -young-, it certainly was. He'd always been the youngest in his birth pride, so it was almost a look of -shock- that Goya was greeted with. However, the adult soon settled in to look at the younger lion as he roamed.
"Hello!" he greeted back, seeming to perk up ever so slightly. His energy was certainly something to be admired!
Or so Hadharani felt so, anyways.
"You seem to be enjoying yourself! Do you live in this area~?"

He made his way closer to the male until he was close to the adult. Even with his recent growth, he was still so small compared to this male! But then again, his pride were on the small side as it was so it wasn't much of a shock to him with the size difference.
With a nod he replied, "I am! My parents have allowed my siblings and I to get to know more of our clan's land."
After a pause and a glance at the male he introduced himself like his parents told him to. "I am Sela'goya Kanati! I live here on the Bird Clan land," His head tilted, "Are you one of the newcomers to our pride?" He was told never to question another lion about their tattoos, or lack thereof, since tattoos were personal and should never be disrespected.

Well, his options were either 'newcomer' or 'invader who is really really bad at hiding'. He had to admit that 'newcomer' was a better answer of those two options (as well as the ACTUAL answer).
"It's nice to meet you, Sela'goya Kanati. I am Haharani Atadiusi." he introduced himself in turn, even going as far as to share his -own- surname! Oh ho ho! He was oh so very fancy, now wasn't he? Though, for all irony, he was completely unaware that the leader of the Mantis clan happened to share that same last name.... (Then again, he was unaware his sister was there either).
"I am indeed a newcomer. I've been looking around for a little while, but if I'm going to get myself comfortable here, I'll need to."

His smile got even wider. "It's nice to meet you Haharani Atadiusi! May I call you Haharani? You may call me Sela'goya or Sela, if you'd like." He nodded to the older lion. He did have the longest name out of all his siblings and they all tended to shorten it to either Sela or Goya or a mix of something from his name. He didn't mind it at all.
While he listened intently to Haharani, he couldn't help but have his little brain start working. He was, oh so curious! "Do you have a clan yet? Are you staying in our Bird Clan? I can give you a tour of our land, and perhaps find you a feather!"

"Just 'Hadharani' is perfectly fine."
He certainly seemed so very excited! But youth was nice in that way, invigorating one with energy, and energy was something he had to enjoy in general. He wished he had that same sort of vigor in his daily life. Then again, he'd been walking and searching for a while, so perhaps he just needed to take some time to regain it.
It would take some time.
"I've been asked to stay here in the Bird Clan, so I think a tour would be very helpful for me. I appreciate you making the offer for me." he chuckled, rather fortunate to have found such an -anxious- helping hand.
Anxious to help, that was.
"Where do you think we should find a feather?"

He nodded to the older lion.
His eyes got a bit wider as the older lion say he was to stay in his clan. Well that was good! It was nice to meet more of the members of the clan now that he was older. And a new one at that! "Most of the members of the Bird Clan are my relatives. We've been getting a few new members lately, so my whole family has been expanding!" It was still a small number and the way that he was raised, the whole clan was his family regardless of whether they were blood related or not. Community came first over individuality.
"I can show you some of the nice spots I've found since I was allowed to wander a bit more," And then he paused, "We can find feathers everywhere. You just have to find a feather that suits you. Like my feather, my Dad picked it out for me when I was born since it matched me."
He then shifted his gaze from the older lion to their surroundings. With a motion to one side, "That's where all of our dens are. They're fairly close together, in case something happens there is always someone to help you out."

Well, this little guy was just -full- of knowledgeable information, now wasn't he? It likely came with growing up in the area. Just like he knew things when he was in the Mteo. Hmm, how were mom and dad? It was a momentary thought before he shook himself out of it.
HE WAS FINE, REALLY. NO HOMESICKNESS HERE!!
"Well, I'd love to see some of these spots you've found. Though I'm sure you should keep some of them to yourself so that you can play hide-n-seek with your siblings and use them." he suggested playfully. Hey! There was always something fun about hiding from your sisters!
If he had any. It was a rather large assumption.
However, he followed the motion of Sela's head to look towards the dens as they were pointed out to him. HmmMmmm.
"Well, that's nice. Won't be lonely that way, either."

He thought for a moment, where to show the older male first. Oh he knew! A good spot that could show the whole area. That way, it'll be easier to show where everything is.
"I know where we can go!"
He shook his head, "Nope, you won't be lonely!"
He stood up and glanced back at the older male, "Let's go!" He was full of energy, to be helpful to the clan was something he looked forward to. And to be a tour guide to the older male.

Not that he'd been expecting to be lonely.... But it seemed his tour guide at least had an idea of where it was they were going, so he was more than happy to follow after the boy who was happily leading the way.
Well, whoever his parents were, they certainly had some pretty good manners!!
"Alright, lead the way!"

As the happy tour guide, he smiled at Haharani. The pair went off on a tour to show the older male the ins and the outs of the Bird Clan, as he was the newest member of the clan.
