Okay...I have heard the above comment so many times in my life it exceeds memory. Why is it that when one woman is sexually inolved with another, it sends heterosexual men off the hormonal deep-end? The other way around as well, for that matter. I admit that two men kissing is exciting to me. I was wondering, however, if anyone had any opinions why that was?

Well, it's a double edged sword really... I think lesbians are hot (duh) and I think yaoi and gay guys are cute and hot (even though I'm a dyke, probably because my gf and I RP yaoi all the time) but I REALLY don't like it when guys are always "lesbians are hot!!!!!!!"
It's not the fact that they find it hot that's wrong... it's the womanizing aspect of it... the biggest problem with being a lesbian I think is not just the oggling factor because you are a woman but the double oggling of kissing your girlfriend and those who think it is just a show to attract men and men who think they can get two dykes in bed with them...

I'm like Tedd from El Goonish Shive, only I keep my mouth shut more often. mrgreen
I think it's okay to say that so long as you don't try to get down their pants or wind up womanizing them.
Unjustified mysogeny and man-hating are both two things I do not approve of: Both genders have their faults, and both have their 'advantages' and 'disadvantages'.
And by the by, dyke isn't offensive so long as it's used in a non-malicious way. Edit: In fact, NO word is offensive if it is not used in a malicious way. Some people may find the word itself offensive, but the offense is always in our heads.

SarahArden said i should post. lesbians are attractive and their imagined exploits are provocative. then again, thinking provocative thoughts about any hot girls is tantamount to the same feelings. HOWEVER i don't think people should think along those lines, i mean it's almost an invasion of privacy! at least i think so...
i'm a strange boy!! <(^_^)> *hugs to all that want*
P.S. i also agree with SarahArden and neoncode with "dyke" being vulgar. i always associate it with lesbians who are overly out, man hating and conforming to the image stereotype (man clothes and short hair w/ bad make up [even though i think man clothes look better on women and some menlook better in woman clothes]) and i know you're not one of them, BT.
um... <3 LOVE OUT! <3
EDIT:a dyke is apparently like a dam! who'ld have thunk it? i also apologise for any spelling mistakes and half the post half-flaming the word "dyke"'s useage.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the power of a word is directly proportional to the ammount of exposure a person has to said word. Jimmy Urine I've played it out out out out Oh I've played it out out out out
