Come in, come in, have a seat, and welcome. I am your host, Triggerhappy938, the Arkansan Geek-of-all-Trades, and this is my little home away from home, the Quill and Candle, home to weary travelers, writers, armchair philosophers, tropers, and the occasional mad scientist.
So relax, kick back, and enjoy the atmosphere. Drinks are on the house, but donations are always appreciated.

Quill and Candle Code of Conduct Here at the Quill and Candle we try to promote an atmosphere of excellence in elegance and elegant excellence. Members are generally free to do as they please, but we do ask a few things of our patrons with regards to conduct.1. Members of the Quill and Candle will keep all activities and materials posted in line with the Gaia TOS. This should go without saying but it is very bad manners to get your host evicted2. Members of the Quill and Candle are expected to keep at the very least a minimum level of literacy to their posts. I'm not going to jump on you for ending your sentence in a preposition. I simply ask that you strive for basic spelling, grammar, and sentence structure3. With the exception of rule #1, general forum rules are overwritten by sub-forum specific rules. Just to prevent confusionFurther rules may be added at a later date. Enjoy your time at the Quill and Candle.-

Now now, I believe the carnage is meant to be either kept in the form of a story or in our AFGEOCM hangout.
TH, if I'm not overstepping my bounds, I would very much like to suggest some things I'd love to see here. Although, I would not be at all surprised if you were already planning on it yourself.

Jin: I have a special corner for that special brand of carnage the AFGEOCM is known for. Not that you are limited to posting there. It's just that I feel I owe much to the AFGEOCM, and that sub-forum is my little thank you, a safe haven for the madness now without leadership. Do not worry, we have a full bar back there, as well.

*holds up a snifter of brandy* Partaking of fine adult beverages is by no means looked down upon here at the Quill and Candle, though we do ask that patrons keep their manners about themselves. Strong drink is no excuse for buffoonery, violence, or sloppy writing. If you do want to get lampshade-on-head drunk, such activities are perfectly acceptable within the Refuge. *puffs a pipe*
