Appearance:

The best description to sum up Rylen at a glance would be that he is a human with some lupine features--notably two pointy ears sprouting from the top of his head, a bushy tail, pronounced canines and premolars, and sturdy black claws in place of flimsy fingernails. Otherwise his anatomy and physiology is similar to that of the average adult human male (with the exception of other characteristics not readily apparent from visual inspection alone). The jet black fur of Rylen's wolf-like ears and tail matches the color and hue of the mess of fine, straight hair on his head, and grey-white fur lines the underside of his tail. His spiky bangs reach down to his brow, nearly covering his crimson eyes. His eyebrows are most often furrowed in a petulant scowl or lifted in an apathetic expression, depending on his view of the situation at hand. This can make him appear intimidating and aloof, and that suits the half-wolf just fine.

His skin is of a light shade of a body accustomed to life in the wintery northlands, and he does not tan easily. The features of his face are slender and his nose is slightly longer than average, though it is hard to tell at first. The gradual slant of his eyes and the shape of his nose lends his face to a little more of a wolf-like appearance when viewed from the front, but he still looks decidedly human. Overall his build is lean with a fair amount of muscle development here and there. His legs in particular boast powerfully-built muscles beyond that of a human in similar peak physical condition. His black finger nails extend about a quarter of an inch out from the tips of his fingers and are much sturdier than human finger nails.

Rylen's primary outfit consists of a black long-sleeved, hooded sweater, or hoody, a dark grey shirt underneath the hoody, black cargo pants, and black and white sneakers. It is simple, light and loose, as Rylen prefers to stay agile. If he is ever seen wearing anything else, Rylen will always opt to have some kind of hooded jacket or sweater because the hood can allow him to disguise one of his more prominent lupine features, his ears.

History

Though he's unaware of the diagnosis, Jace suffers from a brain tumor that causes him severe migraines, hallucinations, and erratic, violent mood swings. He even has a history of attacking innocent bystanders, either because he mistakenly believes them to be someone else via hallucinations or out of sheer, uncontrollable bloodlust.

By an unfortunate accident, one of these victims was actually the bayou's feared voodoo/hoodoo woman, called "Shadow Mama" by the locals. She retaliated by magicking Jace to an unknown world (Gaia), bare-assed naked and nearly beaten half to death by the journey with not a posession to his name, forced to start fresh from nothing.

Appearance:

Standing at a bit above 5 and ½ feet tall, Robyn’s frame is athletic and slim, reminiscent of a gymnast, which she indeed was. Bright green eyes light up her expression, along with her semi-permanent grin. Her face is pretty, made so by her smile more than anything else. It’s slightly long, with almost-but-not-quite angular features. Her lightly tanned skin oddly works with her pale purple hair that reaches to about mid-thigh, which is usually left loose. She is not very muscular, and more of her strength comes from her abilities than her physical stature.

Her arms are about a foot longer than most humans, proportionately. This makes them roughly the same length as her legs. This allows her a greater reach, and the ability to move around on all fours gracefully.

Being cursed into a fox girl, Robyn has fox ears on the top of her head, and a tail, both dark red in color, the last half a foot or so of the tail being tipped in white. The tail extends about 3 feet, being attached to just below her waist, connecting with her once-human tailbone.

Starting in the lower left corner of her back, and moving all the way up to the right side of her neck is a full-color, incredibly realistic, red fox tattoo. It’s magical in nature, imprinted there by the fox spirit inside her, and cannot be removed by any means, although it may be disguised with an illusion. The creature’s right front paw is placed on the right side of her neck, directly above the artery there. The fox’s face is turned back to stare at the viewer, it’s glowing green eyes seeming to pierce into your soul. The tail wraps around her left side, and the claws from the other paws seem to have left scars around them, although it is unsure whether they are real or part of the tattoo.

She loves to wear denim, just because she loves the semi-rough feel of it. She’s partial to blue denim, and even has an outfit with jeans, a denim jacket, and a denim hat. She only wears it when she feels she’s not going to be doing anything extremely physical, however, as everyone knows how hard it is to move freely in it.

Her combat attire consists of full-length brown leather cargo pants, a black, ¾ sleeved loose shirt cut off midriff style, a brown leather vest, her gloves, brown combat boots, and a brown, cowboy-style hat.

Any hat she wears has been modified with holes that allow her ears to fit through the hat comfortably. Same with pants; a wide slit is made in the middle back, then a flap is added to close around the tail.

Personality Robyn can easily be described in two words: Mischievous and Honourable. She's playful, and can act like a little kid sometimes, pulling pranks and just messing around with people. She'll do anything for a laugh, unless it involves hurting someone. That's where the honourable part comes in. She still has her morals, and will fight tooth and nail for what's right and good, protecting others without a thought.

She has her flirty side as well, mainly due to the fox, and as long as you're not a jerk or just plain ugly, expect to get toyed with. Whether by her natural or supernatural charms, Robyn's seemingly never short of a companion.

The fox-girl also has quite a temper, whether the cause or effect of her affinity with fire, no one knows. But get her riled up enough, you might find yourself with some new gashes in your face.

Brief History: Born as a normal human, on her 16th birthday, Robyn discovered that centuries ago, her family had been cursed, causing every female child born from that line to become a fox-girl upon their 16th year.

Also having her host a fox-demon spirit, her personality went on wild swings, and her new powers were hard to control. Shortly after the change, her parents sent her to train at a school in Japan; a martial arts school that also specialized in training people like her to overcome the demon spirit, and gain control over the powers.

Four years later, she returned to the states, got her ged, and continued through college, earning a degree. Her changes left her feeling unsatisfied with this type of life though, and she decided to embark on an adventure, looking for challenges and tournaments.
