Flora: -gives Sommer sad face and starts to tear up- "Why didn't you tell me Sommer?"

Sommer winces and sighs- Because zese..~he nudges his tears with his nose~ Are exactly what I did not want to see coming out of your eyez. It iz heartbreaking to see you cry

Flora shook her head at him sadly the tears coming whether he wanted them to or not, and whether he wiped them away or not. "Oh Sommer... I'm not crying because of it.... if it was meant to happen it was going to happen... I'm crying becuase you didn't tell me sooner..." she sniffled and took in a deep breath giving him a firm deer hug and keeping him as close to herself as possible moving her head up and down his side in some form of comfort. "We're friends Sommer... and believe it or not... you're the only friend for me that was always there... is this why you started leaving?"

he shutters with guilt and sighs. "Oui. When my vision started to seem dimmer, I thought zat maybe it waz juzt my imagination so I walked and walked and waited and waited. It didn't go away, it juzt got worse. I waz so angry. I zought zat I had already paid enough for zat act of stupidity....-he cheeks flush the words of Vervain teasing him about tilting at trees- and now zis..

Flora held him close to her with her chin as she continued to cry not even sure what to say; what could you say to something like that? Sorry you lost your eye sight? I know what you're going through? "Sommer... I just want you to know... that no matter what happens; no matter how upset you are; how angry you are; how sad you are; how anything; I want you to come and talk with me ok?" She smiled as she lifted her head off of his back and rubbed her body along the length of him. "I don't think it was stupid Sommer~ and I saw how you stood up to Vervain today too~ I think you're the bravest and smartest Herla I know. Much smarter than any of those other herla that think it's a good idea to hang around him..."

Sommer manages a tiny smile- I only do what I zink iz right and I would lay my life down on ze line if zat what ze payment for keeping you..er..~clears his throat, cursing himself for letting that slip out~ you and othzers away from danger. Az much az I love my life and az much az I want to live, when I see small ones or ze hart I care for in distrezz I cannot stop myzelf to help. -he says gloomily- I am suppozing one day zis will get me killed..

Flora sighed and licked his cheek gently before beginning to walk needing to walk and not be in one place at one time as they talked. "Sommer... I don't want to see you get hurt ok? Especially not for me.... Promise me not to act too rashly ok? Don't get into fights you can't back down from... don't bite off more than you can chew ok?" she nuzzled him gently again and smiled lightly bumping his tush with her own. "So tell me lady killer! who is the hart you care? hmmm?"

Sommer stomach and heart feel like they're on a rollarcoaster, going from guilty low to relief high to OMG WHY DID SHE ASK THAT low high low high. His brain screeches to a halt and stubbronly refuses to allow him to make a sound, resulting in a very funny face. One eye, wide open in surprise she'd ask, the other furrowed like he was considering her question, and his mouth opening and closing with no sounds coming out of it

Flora frowned at him and gave him lots of love and licks and hugs and attention. "Why would you ever think that! Here come here! lay down with me~ tell me who you like! I want to know <3"

~very, very reluctantly, he sinks down onto his stomach, laying next to her and tries to steel himself for this conversation~ W..well...Rodanza iz a very nice doe..~his voice is a little quiet~ she'z sweet and kind and alwayz worriez about me but I zink zat Dunixi likez her az well...and uhm...zere iz zis othzer herla..her name iz Chu'zi but she iz...uhmm...~he searches for the word~ She seemz too...more like zat I am too young for her...

Flora smiled and nodded her head listening to him as he talked and picturing all of them in her mind as she talked. She would have told him how much of a better herla he was than everyone else was. But she stopped when she heard him stop on a doe he liked and she smiled nosing him in the side. "Who else? Who else! tell me! tell me! I waaaant toooo knooooow!" -wiggles next to him-

Err..well... "well..s..she's beautiful..and she's very sweet and compassionate. But but..~swollows hard~" she haz..a lot of admirerz...

FLora frowned and nuzzled along him pulling on his ear gently. "Who is she? Have you told her you like her???"

Flora rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Sommer~ if you don't tell her that you like her~ then what's the point in liking her huh?" -gives him a duh look-

"I want to tell her but I am afraid zat she will turn me down and I do not know if I want to hear zose wordz from her"

Flora pouted at him and kissed him gently laying her head over his neck in a sort of compassionate nature. "I'm sorry Sommer. I wish there was something I could do to help you..." She smiled and lifted her head going up close to his ear and whispering in a conspiratory manner. "are there any boys you like?" -giggles0

-he turns bright red- Ahhhhh well....-teasing tone- Robin iz...pretty good looking

Flora her face scrunches up and she sticks out her tongue. "EEEEEEW~ You like my BROTHER XD GROSS" -giggles and nuzzles him-

-he smiles softly- H..hey Flora..?

Flora continued giggling but nodded her head "Mmm-hmmm?"

-deep breath- Ilikeyouawholelotmorethenafriendbutimnotgonnapushforanythingbutifidonttellyouimgoingtogoinsanesoilikeyouok??? ~lets it all out in a huge rush and then scrunches his face and body up, bracing self for the rejection~

Flora stopped for a minute; still close to him; not moving away from him letting it all soak in and she nodded her head. "Sommer. I love you. So SO much... but... I love you like my brother. Which is probably the most I'll EVER love anyone. Ever. The love I have for my brothers is unwavering and unending. No matter what I will always be by your side and I will always love you. And accept every thing you do or say." She nuzzled against him and smiled laying her head on him. "Please don't hate me Sommer."

Sommer takes in what she said, and exhales very slowly, but smiles sadly. "Oui, I waz expecting zis...but if I had not told you it would have been anozther thing I would be keeping from you and I zink zat I have been doing zat enough lately....." ~he trails off, looking into the trees for a bit before nudging her cheek~ "I don't hate you silly doe...of all ze thingz zat I feel for you, hate cannot be one of zem ever.."

Flora nuzzled him gently and licked his ear sweetly. "wanna hear a secret?" smiles at him.

Flora looked around nervously and then got up a little closer to his ear. "Promise not to tell?"

~he pulls a hoove from under his body and holds it up as best he can~ crozz my heart and hope to die if I do..

Flora smiled and whispered as quietly as she could into his ear. "I think ROBIN likes you~" She nodded her head.

~he blinks~ Ehhh??? Noonnn...I am sure zat he haz some pretty doe he has hidden away from everyone...~is blushing hard, tries to make a joke~

Flora nodded her head and gave him a knowing look. "Cross my heart man~ my brother thinks your hot! but do NOT tell him I told you ok? ok? PROMISE!!!!" -flails at him and if she had hands she'd grab him by the shoulders and shake him-

~he laughs at her reaction~ don't worry, I did promize oui?

Flora nodded her head happily. "ok good <3"

~he thinks~ So, you knew all along didn't you? I zink you are more observent zen sometimez everyone givez you credit for..

She smiled and flopped on him. "People really think I'm stupid don't they?"

Flora: Robin told me the same thing... but I can't help but feel... that people don't think I understand things like everyone else.

Flora lowered her head and looked away from Sommer sadly closing her eyes and heaving a big sigh. "I don't think they all beleive that like you say."

Flooorraaa...lizten to me, I am like..~pauses for a second~ like a brothzer oui? You worry too much about what ZEY zink. You are happy oui? Your life iz good? You have hart who love you? Zen zat is all you need.~nods~

Flora: do you think I'm stupid Sommer?

Non. ~he thinks~ I do not know how to explain it. I know zat you are a very smart doe but sometimez you are so innocent in some things it makes you seem...less experenced...~knows this isnt the best way to explain, but it trying~ A lot of Herla, zey have done a lot and seen a lot and not all is pretty. Even me, I am half blind and have a scar and I know how hard somethingz are. You are like, ze joy in life a lot of adultz forget about after zey have had hard timez and zink zat life is a difficult zing with no good points. Zey get angry when zey see ze fun or ze joy zat you have in life zat zey do not or do not want to admit zey could have beczue zey have been living in ze gloom or pain so long..

Flora: -curls into him but is still pretty quiet about it all and closes her eyes not wanting to really say anything about it-
