It was another beautiful late spring morning outside the shop and already the stormy colored fox named Lavitz stood in a tree gazing up at the sunset as it peaked over the mountains. All the while he watched, he wondered what his day had in store for him. "What shall I do today? Go down to the brook and relax in the cool waters?" he asked himself before delicately putting a paw on his chin and looking up with his eyes. "Hmm...Did that yesterday. Maybe a stroll around the shop to start" he said as he skillfully climbed down and landed, trotting off around the shop wondering if anyone would be out this early

Violet was always out early. She loved the feeling of dewy grass on her paws as she ran through it. Which was exactly what she was doing now. "Whee!" she squealed as she practically flew through the grass near the shop. A flash of blue and black in the corner of her eye made her skid to a stop and turn around. She didn't usually see many Noodles up and about this early. "Hi!" she said happily, her fluffy tail waving back and forth.

Walking along, he suddenly felt a strong gust of wind and saw a flash of purple. He took a wider stance and looked around, puzzled. "What the crap?" he looked down and between his legs seeing the feet of another fox. "Hello!" he grinned as he raised his head and whipped around, tail wagging behind him. He hadn't seen a fox like this before, but in all honesty, he hadn't seen many foxes at all.
"Who are you" he asked as he padded towards her a bit, making sure to look her over and memorize her features

Violet giggled as he turned around. "I'm Ultraviolet! But you can call me Violet if you want," she said brightly as she smiled at him. "What about you? What's your name? And how come you're up so early? I don't ever see anyone up this early!" She spoke fast, barely taking a breath between questions. When she was finished speaking, she looked up at him expectantly, just knowing in her way that he'd somehow managed to catch everything. While she waited for his answers, her eyes wandered over him, looking at his markings. "Pretty colors," she murmured with a smile.

His face widened and he tried to catch all the questions as the flew at him rapidly, but it wasn't anything he couldn't handle "Well nice to meet you Violet, I'm Lavitz. I'm always up this early because...well...why not" he beamed and thanked her for the compliment. "You are pretty too" he said innocently virtually meaning nothing to it other than she thought he coloration was pretty. "Purple is such a good color" he added. Then it occured to him
"HEY!! Want to go down to the brooke and swim with me?" he asked practically bouncing up and down as he shifted behind her and grinned happily. "It'll be fun" he egged on hoping she would follow

She grinned, happy that he'd been able to answer everything. She hated having to repeat herself, and not because it was 'inconvenient' as she'd heard someone else put it. It was mostly because she'd forgotten what she'd asked. "Aww, thank you!" she said and swished her tail a little faster. "Blue is one of my favorites! Especially cuz when you add pink you get purple!" she giggled again. Her eyes widened. "YES! I love swimming!! LET'S GO!" She squealed a little and took off toward the brook.

"Outstanding" he grinned as he watched her take off and run like a mad woman. He chuckled and took off after her, catching up quickly. "Race ya!" he grinned as he waited for his words to register, then he started to run a little faster, giving her the opportunity to take a head start. He didn't want to be competitive, just have fun

Violet ran hard, giggling as she went. She looked over when she felt him getting nearer and grinned back. "Okay! I'ma beat you!" she laughed and put on a burst of speed. She didn't care if she won or lost, she loved to run and racing was always fun no matter the end results. Turning her gaze back to the glittering water in the not so far distance, she ran, constantly glancing over to see how far away Lavitz was.

He let out a chuckle as she bolted ahead of him, and soon followed suit, just managing to keep at the nips of her heels "Oh no you won't!" he chuckled once more. he still wasn't being competitive, it was just good sport to taunt the opponent.
He was having so much fun that he forgot that they were approaching the brooke and fast, soon he found that he was at the waters edge and still running, so he soon found he had stumbled in and was underwater. Quickly he rose to the surface, looked concerned for a moment, then began to laugh as he looked around for Violet

She watched as he passed her the closer they got to the water. It wasn't until she heard the splash he made as he broke the surface that she began to skid to slow down. She had begun too late and the still dewy grass didn't slow her down a bit as she headed for the same fate. "Eee!" she squeaked, not unhappily as she slid from the grass and into the water next to Lavitz. She came up a moment later, sputtering and snorting trying to get water out of her nose. Once she could breathe again, she found her new friend and started giggling along with him. "That was fun!"

He grinned as he saw he also fall into the water and soon break the surface snorting and spitting water. "Well hello again" he jested as he started to wade towards the deeper part of the water. "Yes it was!" he commented as he began to dog paddle when his feet could no longer touch the bottom. He then dived down for a second, and found not far by was an underwater tunnel that wasn't there before. He investigated it for a moment, before swimming back to the surface and gasping for air
"There's something really cool down there!" he shouted to her as he was focused on where he had just come from. He wanted to investigate, but it was dangerous since he didn't know where the tunnel went

"Hiii," she said smiling. Curious, she followed him as he went deeper, squeaking in surprise when her toes couldn't feel the bottom anymore. She gasped when he went under without warning. "Where'd he go?" she wondered out loud as if expecting an answer from the birds around her. She waited for him to come up, getting worried after a few moments. When he finally came back up, she felt so much better. "What is it?" she asked, immediate distracted from her own thoughts. "I wanna see!" He just couldn't say something like that and not elaborate. Violet wanted to know everything, especially if it involved exploring someplace new.

"It was a tunnel." he said curiously. He tread water for a moment while he pondered it's existence, something he was bad about doing. It's odd...I've never seen it before..And there was a bright flash of light that came from this area a few nights ago" he thought outloud. But he looked over with a mystified look. "Wanna check it out?" he asked, making sure she was ok with it even though he already had the strange suspicion that she would have dove down with him at moments notice

"A tunnel?" she asked softly, paddling closer to him. She didn't remember the light, but that was normal. Violet's memory tended more toward foxes. "Oooh, I wanna see!" she said. He really hadn't needed to ask. She wasn't one to shy away from anything, especially when it came to exploring. "Let's go! Show me show me show me!" she said excitedly, giggling and waiting for him to go first so he could show her the tunnel.

He smiled. "Alright, but stay close to me and if you need air, tap my shoulder or something..I'll do the same" he cautioned her. He wasn't reckless and stupid. He knew better than to go into something with out a plan.
He looked down and floated a bit away as not to hit her when he dived. "Alright, take a deep breath...and..let's go" he inhaled deeply and plunged his head under the water and forcing his body to follow. It was well lite and the water was very clear, so he could see as he swam closer to the tunnel that it arced up. He looked back to see if Violet was doing ok before moving on
