Basic Information
The weapon is essentially a shoulder mounted 40 x 53mm semiautomatic clip fed rocket launcher with a similar firing system to the HK GMG. The weapon of course, is differently shaped, and guts a lot of the external and internal components ordinarily found in an HK GMG, as it not required to be capable of firing in fully automatic. It's recoil is around the same, which is relatively low, although not completely eliminated. It is much lighter in weight compared to the HK GMG, but it is slightly larger, dimensionally wise (it's longer and it's greatest width is larger). Still, it is a very versatile infantry weapon, and either can be single or crew served- the extra unit carrying large amounts of ammunition, loading the weapon, "spotting", and of course carrying a more mobile, conventional back-up weapon. The weapon is fully capable of being operated by an individual unit, but do to it's large size and bulk, and the low clip size (comparatively) the weapon, obviously, preforms better when two people are present to operate it. As well, due to it's increased weight and shoulder mounting, people trading off spotting and loading and carrying the weapon and aiming it reduces the stress on a single unit. Still, due to it's decreased rate of fire and clip size for decreased weight, it is a very suitable single unit weapon.
