I just want to know what everyone thinks on this subject. I think that it is better to be a female so you can get the Black Widow perk because most NPCs in the game are male.

I haven't played the game as a female character, but it does make sense to have a slight advantage since the majority of the characters in-game are male. But I'm sure it doesn't matter as you progress through the game and obtain many and multiple perks. I'm sure by then the Black Widow perk doesn't seem as intense.

I'd say its better to play as a female, mostly for fully upgraded Black Widow. Except for the female raiders, most in-game enemies are male. The damage increase is only a slight one, but its still enough in some situations, like making groups of Enclave less hairy with weaker weapons.

Well, I see no benefit of Lady Killer OR Black Widow. They are undoubtedly useful to you. But me, being a very good character who prefers speach over bullets, once you get like, 50 points in speech maybe? Those perks are relatively useless around level 8 and beyond.

i am a bit more violent even if im a good character im not playing the game for the interaction im playing to watch a behemoth get blown sky high with a fatman

as a test i played through once as both genders there are a few times that having black widow is useful but only if your on a speed run or you know the shortcuts that letyou skip some of the more annoying quests that let you gain experience but are long and annoying at lower levels such as recovering the satellite for three dog the main reason you need it is for the first battle at the purifier the first time when you have to escort dr li and the others because all enclave soldiers are male and in vault 87/raven rock

I don't know if you guys have noticed, but Talon company is entirely male (except for 3 or so scripted ones who are dead).
