Welcome, Welcome One and All! Welcome to Ninja Big and Small! Dr.Seuss Cobra here to wish you all happy RPing with us here in the guild. As with all guilds, we have rules... most of them common sense, others little things here and there that apply to how we run things here in the guild. Obviously, knowingly breaking the rules for nothing but malicious purposes will result in a swift boot to the *ss from Jade/Havik/Deil, or whatever VC might happen to be nearby, and a personal banning from myself. With that being said, I'm sure everyone will be on their best behavior... RIGHT?!?! *glares* ... Damn Ninja Right!
General Guild Rules
1. No Cybering - Gaia is supposedly (or claims to be) PG-13 so please act accordingly.
2. No Flaming - If you have beef with others take it to the PMs. If you can't say anything nice just don't post at all.
3. Be Respectful - This goes in line with the above, but there are many people with different opinions, ideas, and beliefs... and we all have to co-exist. So please, do not be purposefully offensive or rude, and if someone says you are offending them, please stop.
4. No Begging - Please don't come here to ask for gold or items. (Though, if you really want something, you can PM Cobra_X... he's probably got something lying around)
5. Ask permission before Advertising anything, and only post them in the 'Advertising' thread.
6. No Complaining Topics. If you have a complaint, send a Mod a PM, or post in the Suggestions/Complaints topic.
7. Respect the VCs and Crew and please be patient when waiting for approvals.
General Role-playing Rules
8. We are a literate role-play here. Please keep the use of l33t sp34k or other text talk (such as 'plz halp meh') to a minimum in the OOC forums, and it should NEVER be used in the Role-play.
9. No Godmodding. (a.k.a. Dodging all attacks and generally acting more powerful then your rank)
10. No Auto-hitting, or Auto-killing (The extreme cousin of auto-hitting).
11. No meta-gaming. (Using OOC knowledge to determine your RPC's actions without a sufficient RP explanation/proper evidence)
12. Please keep OOC comments to a minimum when in an RP forum/thread. If there is an argument about a post/character/jutsu, or anything, bring it to the chatroom or PMs. DO NOT spam the RP forum with OOC.
General RPC/Profile Rules
13. You cannot start Role-playing until your profile has been approved by a guild mod.
14. Custom Bloodlines/Jutsu/Summons/Weapons/etc. MUST be submitted and approved by a mod before being used.
restrictions may apply. (Will be noted in Bloodline descriptions)
15. You CANNOT be part something like part dog, cat, snake, or anything else. Certain bloodline traits aside, you are a human.
16. You cannot have a Demon+Bloodline, or Demon+Cursemark. Certain Bloodlines/Clans can obtain cursemarks, but certain restrictions will apply. (Will be noted in Bloodline/Clan entry)
17. Everyone, (unless auto-ranked), starts off as a Genin (As if you had just past your exams to graduate the Academy).
18. You are allowed to have TWO RPCs... HOWEVER, your RPCs cannot: Be from the same village, Have the same Clan/Bloodline, or have the same Cursemark, and your first RPC must become a Chuunin before you are allowed to have a second RPC.
19. Any attempt to abuse or take advantage of the above rule, such as using one RPC to benefit the other, or help/assist the other in becoming more powerful... such as training them hidden jutsu, or stealing their Sharingan... will result in a gruesome and horribly God-modded death of both RPCs.
Death of an RPC
20. You CAN be killed. Your actions have consequences... and if they are particularly dumb, it could cost you your RPCs life. (However, in general, mods will protect you from any unfair head-hunting.)
21. When you die, your RPC is gone. You cannot create a 'clone' of your RPC in the same village as the previous one.
22. If your RPC dies, you must post their profile in the 'Shinobi Graveyard' and give a brief synopsis of what led up to their death.
Other Role-play related Rules:
23. Respect the rules of your home village. Kage and Jounin have the right to kill you if you defect or commit acts of treason. If you attempt to leave and become a missing-nin, ANBU WILL be sent, and you WILL have to fight them off to survive.
24. Technology is limited, and only present in certain instances. Firearms do not exist, and neither do weapons which resemble firearms. Instances of technology include: Headphones, Research/Hospital computers, neon lights, and other non-combat related items can exist. In all other areas however, technology is non-existent.
25. Despite what you may think, your character is not able to sense other people's chakra. We have specialties which allow you to sense chakra if you choose to take them, but it is not something you can do innately. So no 'sensing' other people's presences by feeling their chakra signatures.
