Hello fellow guild members,
It is I, your Guild Captain, Lady Hikari-chan.
Im here to tell you the basic rules before you post in any Guild topic and or thread.
POSTING
-everyone is allowed to post in this guild, whether it be something for RPG or Entertainment, whatever. but there are specific sub topics for each post.
Main Forum: Ninja Society
-this is where you may post anything ninja related or announcements. this forum also allows the members to get to know one another outside RPG activity and just relax and add suggestions for the guild.
(ex: news or announcments for giveaways, questions, leave or absence, suggestions, or anything vital for the guild)
Sub Forums:
1. RPG subforum
- the RPG forum is open to all members. you can contribute to the RPG thread that others have started, or make one of your own if you feel like it. rember, even though this Guild is named "The Ninja Society," doesn't mean that you all have to make RPG's about Ninjas, go crazy! (not litteraly)
you can make RPG's from school ones to witches and vampires or whatever.
2. The Arts/ Entertainment (Ninja Procrastinating time) subforum
- the arts/entertainment subforum is for entertainment purpose, duh...
open to all, you may post your art work (illustrations, poems, stories, fanfictions, etc...), articles for the arts or t.v., talk about fashion (cosplay, lolita, etc.), post your youtube videos here please, and discussions on movies and or t.v. series.
3. The Societies Best (VC and Crew) subforum
- this subforum is only open for the Captain, Vice Captains, and Crew members. like our own personal club house, we talk about how to better the guild and add more interesting things to make guild life more enjoyable.
4. O-My-Gawds subforum
- you may talk about your religious beliefs in this forum...while still having some fun as well. this subforum is mostly dedicated for "Fan" use like dedicating a thread to a certin character or person to "worship," mind you this is just for entertainment purpose, but you may also state your beliefs as well; just as long as it doesn't get out of hand where one is crying "BLASPHMY!" or "THAT IS NOT A TRUE RELIGION." we get it.
5. Introductions: Introduce youself to the Guild subform
-all guild memebers may introduce themselves here.
state your likes and dislikes.
this is a good time to open up to your fellow guild members and make some new friends.
simple

9. "How To" and Guild Member's Tutorials subforum
- this is where your fellow guild members will teach you how to do whatever you want. make suggestions on what you would like to learn, or if you don't see anything you like, make your own. Show your fellow guild members what you know and teach them how to do it. knowledge is power.
***NOTE***:
-please, please, post your topics in the right forum and or subforum. common sense is not so common to most people, but just give your best judgement before you post please. if you do have questions on where to post things...do not hesitate to ask.
i will post a list of the Vice captains and crew members in the introduction guild, so that you will know who to ask.
if something does end up in a wrong forum and or subforum, it will be moved to its designated spot by either me and or the vice captains or crew members.
How does one become a crew member or higher?
-simple, you will all be watched (not stalked)
if you are showing qualities of a good leader and follow the rules, you will be promoted.
-here will soon be a subforum for applications for new crew members.
*NOTE*: crew members and vice captains do the most work in the guild besides the captain, they help plan events and maintain order in the guild. if one has stopped preforming crew member or vice captain duties or they ask to be relieved of their duties for whatever reason, the will be demoted.
SPAM
-simple statement, if i and or any of the vice captains or crew members spot spam, it will be deleted. depending on the degree of spam...you will be given a warning, if it continues, you will be banned.
simple, no?
(if one is found spaming they are given 3 warnings to stop, apon after the 3rd warning, u will be banned)
TROLLING AND ABUSE
-this guild does not tolerate trolling or abuse of anykind to the members of this guild. if you are found to be or are reported by other members of bothering or harassing any of the guild members, you will be given a warning...and if it continues, you will be banned and then reported to the Gaia Admins for your actions.
just in case some people do not know the meanings of Trolling, Abuse, or Harassment...here they are:
Troll/Trolling:
troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[2] In addition to the offending poster, the noun “troll” can also refer to the provocative message itself, as in that was an excellent troll you posted. While the term troll and its associated action, trolling, are primarily associated with Internet discourse, media attention in recent years has made such labels highly subjective, with trolling being used to describe many intentionally provocative actions outside of an online context.
Forms Abuse and Harassment:
-Anti-social behaviour is often seen as public behaviour that lacks judgement and consideration for others and may cause them or their property damage. It may be intentional, as with vandalism or graffiti, or the result of negligence. Persistent anti-social behaviour may be a manifestation of an antisocial personality disorder. The counterpart of anti-social behaviour is pro-social behaviour, namely any behaviour intended to help or benefit another person, group or society.
-Bullying is repeated acts over time that involves a real or perceived imbalance of power with the more powerful individual or group attacking those who are less powerful.[4] Bullying may consist of three basic types of abuse - verbal, physical and emotional. It typically involves subtle methods of coercion such as psychological manipulation. Bullying can be defined in many different ways. Although the UK currently has no legal definition of bullying,[5] some US states have laws against it. Bullying is usually done to coerce others by fear or threat.
-Character assassination is an attempt to tarnish a person's reputation. It may involve exaggeration or manipulation of facts to present an untrue picture of the targeted person. It is a form of defamation and can be a form of ad hominem argument.
-Cyberbullying "involves the use of information and communication technologies to support deliberate, repeated, and hostile behavior by an individual or group, that is intended to harm others.
-Discriminatory abuse involves picking on or treating someone unfairly because something about them is different.
-Gay bashing is an expression used to designate verbal confrontation with, denigration of, or physical violence against people thought to be lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgendered (LGBT) because of their apparent sexual orientation or gender identity.
-Group psychological abuse refers to groups where methods of psychological abuse are frequently or systematically used on their members. Such abuse would be practices that treat the members as objects one is free to manipulate instead of respecting their autonomy, human rights, identity and dignity. In a group can also play mind games with another person that can make the victim seem like they are accepted but in actuality they are backstabbing the person when his/her back is turned. When the victim requests assistance from the abusing group it is not given.
-Harassment covers a wide range of offensive behaviour. It is commonly understood as behaviour intended to disturb or upset. In the legal sense, it is behaviour which is found threatening or disturbing.
Power harassment is harassment or unwelcome attention of a political nature, often occurring in the environment of a workplace.
Sexual harassment refers to persistent and unwanted sexual advances, typically in the workplace, where the consequences of refusing are potentially very disadvantageous to the victim.
-An insult is an expression, statement (or sometimes behavior) which is considered degrading and offensive.
-Intimidation is intentional behavior "which would cause a person of ordinary sensibilities" fear of injury or harm. It's not necessary to prove that the behavior was so violent as to cause terror or that the victim was actually frightened.[25] "The calculated use of violence or the threat of violence to attain goals political, religious, or ideological in nature...through intimidation, coercion, or instilling fear" can be defined as terrorism.[26]
-Misconduct means a wrongful, improper, or unlawful conduct motivated by premeditated or intentional purpose or by obstinate indifference to the consequences of one's acts. Three categories of misconduct are official misconduct, professional misconduct and sexual misconduct.
-A taunt is a battle cry, a method in hand-to-hand combat, sarcastic remark, or insult intended to demoralize the recipient, or to anger them and encourage reactionary behaviors without thinking.[citation needed] Taunting can exist as a form of social competition to gain control of the target's cultural capital (i.e. status).[citation needed] In sociological theory, the control of the three social capitals is used to produce an advantage in the social hierarchy as to enforce one's own position in relation to others. Taunting is committed by either directly bullying, or indirectly encouraging others to bully the target. It is also possible to give a response of the same kind, to ensure one's own status. It can be compared to fighting words and trash-talk.
-Teasing is a word with many meanings. In human interactions, teasing comes in two major forms, playful and hurtful. In mild cases, and especially when it is reciprocal, teasing can be viewed as playful and friendly. However, teasing is often unwelcome and then it takes the form of harassment. In extreme cases, teasing may escalate to actual violence, and may even result in abuse, potentially meeting the legal definition of child abuse or even murder. Children are commonly teased on such matters as their appearance, weight, behavior, abilities, and clothing.[47] This kind of teasing is often hurtful, even when the teaser believes he or she is being playful. One may also tease an animal. Some animals, such as dogs and cats, may recognize this as play, but as in humans, teasing can become hurtful and take the form of bullying and abuse.
(unlike the warnings for Spam, Trolling and Abuse are mi=uch more severe...u will be given 2 warnings if u are found doing any of the above...u will then be banned and then reported to the Admins after if your actions continue.)
(all of these deffenitions were looked up online ands copy and pasted, i do not own the meanings or claim the right to discovering the meanings of any)
***NOTE***:
-so please, be kind and respectful to your fellow guild members. you are to respect everyones beliefs and opininos, so that in turn you will be respected for yours.
to get respect you must give it.
so please help make this guild liveable and enjoyable for all.
Thank You All.
