Personally I did not go, but my high schools winter percussion went. They competed in the PSA division. They did really good, I was so happy for them!

My school went to two WGI regionals in California, took second at one, and at the largest regional in the country, took first in the Scholastic A division.
We also went to Dayton and competed in World Championships, taking 10th place overall in the Scholastic A division. (Not bad, considering this was our first year in there, and we were the first group from our state to go.)

Anyway, if you are you I think you are . . . I am seriously impressed.

We actually did go to Dayton this year. Its the first time I personally have ever been. We took 13th in semi-finals and the top 12 got into finals >.< But i was extremely proud of my guard. Our show was called "Get Here"

The varsity team was going to go last year, but unfortunately a main weapon in varsity quit, and as a result the JV and Varsity merged. That resulted in several people, including me, being placed as an alternate (aka you have to go to all the practices but you aren't even in the frickin show) and no Dayton trip;
